Product Features
BeamLink-U lti mate is a n upg ra ded ver sio n of the BeamLink Quad that adds voice in tercom ca pab ili tie s. It i s a set of 4TX- to-1RX full-HD au dio and video wire less transmissi on system a nd wire less voice interco m system. The 4- cha nne l ima ge tran smi ssion and voice interco m sha re o ne wi re less channel and supports the highe st vi deo res olu tion of 1080P/60Hz. This system is based on 5G wireless net work technology for tran smi ssion, along with adva nced 4× 4 MIM O and B eam -Forming technology. Image proces sing is performed u sin g H.2 64 technology, and thus the im age s has h igh er reso lut ion and the latency is lower. It is th e best co mpa nion for the director to shoot, using advanced Vo IP tech nol ogy, integrated w ith voi ce intercom function, which is clear in voice a nd ea sy to carry. The transmitteris CP708 1, and the receiver is the combination of CP3060 an d CP3 081 , whi ch are connected vi a a network c able.

When inst all ing t he machine with the double-thread screw supplied with
the produ ct, t ighte n the p roduct wit h the fastening screw p late. Do not
hold the machine fo r rotary tig htening to p revent the sc rew from being
unable to b e removed from the machine.
The RS 232 a nd Tall y function inte rface s of this prod uct a re n on- standard

The audio signal in the vi de o is f rom the “LINE IN” in terface , the mi crophone icon display s be si de t he t ransmitter number on OLE D sc reen.
In the code matching process of the transmitter and receiver, the word “WPS” will always be displayed on the OLED display, and the string will disappear after the code matching complete. The transmitter and receiver need to be in code matching status at the same time for code matching.

Enter the broadcast call mode, the receiver speak, and all the transmitters listen.
Receiver makes a single full duplex call to the one of the selected transmitter.
Whether in one-to-one or broadcast mode, the microphone at the live production terminal is turned off. At this time, the live production can hear the voice from the transmitting terminal, but the transmitting terminal cannot hear the voice from receiver.

4. The receiver can be powered by both the V-mount lithium battery and DC-IN port via
the affiliated power adapter. If the mentioned two types of power supply are
connected at the same time, the lithium battery is prioritized in power supplying,
and the battery will switch to the power adapter for power supplying automatically
after the battery power is exhausted.

In streaming mode, th e four channel video source s are connec to
ted the four transmitters via HDMI or SDI cable respectively. Th e re ceiver will receive the fou r RTSP from t he four transmitters a nd se nd them to the switch console through the LAN port.

Tally function
The DB9 header of the Tally input interface is defined as follows:
Insert the Tally ligh t into the transmitter ’s Tall y out put interface fir st, then conn ect t he to the receiver ’s Tall y input inte rface, and then co ntrol the Tall y lig ht of t he four transmitters throug h the swi tch cons ole . When tally inpu t is connected to GND,tal ly ou t wil l be 5V voltage, which can provide 200mA max source cu rrent.And whe n tal ly in put i s OPE N (disco nne cted to G ND),tal ly ou t wil l be low. In this mode,video is decoded using software . And t here are lo ts of I P bas ed deco din g sof tware on market. The following is an exam ple o f commo n VLC streaming media software :After the transmitter a nd receiver build a network connec tio n, th e trans mit ter network indicator is always on, the re ceiver network connection display normal; the transmitter i s connected to the HDMI or SDI video source, and the receiver’s network port is con necte d to the s tream ing d ev ice.

Note t hat t he tran smi tter must be connected to th e vid eo so urce, and t he IP address of the device ru nin g VLC (s uch a s a computer) must be the same network segment as the IP address of t he en coding board. Otherwise, t he st re ami ng wi ll fail .

Encoder/Decoder Configuration and Upgrading
Each tran smitter ha s one e ncoder, and its configuration and software upgradi ng need to be im ple men ted on its encoder . Since t he receiver has four deco ders, the co nfi gurat ion a nd software up gradi ng ne ed to be implemente d on it s eac h decoder respectively.
Keep the comp uter co nne cted to the receiver through LAN port, and ke ep th e re ceiver co nnected wi th al l trans mit ters normally.
Each tran smitter ha s one w irele ss tran smission modu le an d one e ncoder. Rece iver has one wirele ss transmiss ion m odu le an d four decoders. All modules and each encode r/de coder have their respective IP address as follows, an d all config urati on an d upg ra din g ope ra tion must be implemente d und er it s ow n IP ad dress.

Wireless Transmission Module Upgrading
Each tran smitter ha s one w irele ss tran smission modu le, a nd the software upgradi ng needs to be i mpl eme nted on each t ransmitter. Receiver also has one wirel ess transmissio n mod ule, and the software up gradi ng needs to be implemente d on it a ccordin gly.
1. The t ransm itter operates th e sam e as the wirel ess software u pgrad e of the receiver.
2. The b ack o f eac h device’s body will be labeled with t he IP a ddres s of WiFi a nd th e IP ad dress o f the encode r/decoder. The d efault IP addresses are as follows:

Precautions
1. If trans mitte r or/ and receiver use HDMI cable:( a~f )
a. Do not plug in or pull out the HDMI cab le of t he tran smi tter and recei ve r
during normal use.
b. Con nec t the t ra nsm itter to the video source an d connect receiver to a monitor v ia HD MI an d the n powe r on th e trans mit ter and receiver.
c. When the OSD prompts t hat code matching fail s after tryi ng code matc hing, rebo ot th e trans mit ter and receiver to see whe the r they ca n be connected normally. Perfo rm code matc hing again when it is st ill u nab le to be conn ected afte r re sta rting.
d. When there is no video appear on d isp lay after change video resolution para meters on transmi tter, pull out and then plug in th e HDM I cab le of t he tran smi tter or receiver.If there is still no video appear, power off and rest art the trans mitte r and receiver.
e. Whe n the n etwor k can not b e conne cted for a lon g tim e after switching freq uen cy channel, reboot the transmitter an d re ceiver.
f. Wh en th e trans mit ter and receiver dev ices are co nne cted norma lly, there is no o utp ut on the monitor a t the receiver, or the video o utp ut is abnormal, re -plug the HDMI cable of the receiver a nd ch eck whether the monitor i s cha nge d to stan dby mod e. If it is stil l una ble to output normal ly afte r the a bove o perat ion , try to replace t he display d ev ice.
2. If there i s a pic ture ja m or mo sai c during use, it is g ene ra lly c aus ed by inte rfe re nce in the network. Therefore, try sw itching th e net wo rk frequency channel to avoid the interference ban d. For the frequency swi tching operation,please refer s to the frequ ency swi tching operation instructio ns.
