Thank you for purchasing one of our products. Please read this manual before using this product. When using this product, always follow the instructions contained in this manual, and pay attention to the safety information.
Do not expose this product to water, rain or moisture.

Never take this product apart or try to modify it.

candles, incense, ect., on it.
Do not place any containers lled with water or other liquids near this product.
Doing so could result in re or electric shock if the liquid spills and enters the product or gets it wet. If a liquid spills near this product, unplug the product immediately.
Do not remove or insert the power supply with wet hands.
Doing so could result in electric shock. Do not use the power supply in any of the following ways.

Modifying or heating the power cable Damaging the power cable Bending or tugging on the power cable unnecessarily Knotting or kinking the power cable Setting heavy objects on the power cable
When moving this product , rst unplug the power supply from the outlet. Do not
tug the cable or move this product with the power supply plugged into the outlet.
Doing so could damage the cable, possibly resulting in re or electric shock.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover.

Usage Environment
Avoid using or storing this product in areas such as those listed below. Doing so could damage the product or cause it to malfunction.

Humid areas and areas where water is used

Do not drop or apply a strong force to this product or any included or connected parts.
Do not spill liquids around or inside this product or drop ammable objects around or
inside it.
Power Supply
Only use the supplied power supply which is designed specically for this product.
Do not allow the plug to come into contact with metal or water.
This Product is not designed for contact medical use
Do not use this product for medical applications that could result in patient contact.

· Can be used with a standard 6-4 telephone phone jack if the internal contact closure is not used
The CATS-2 is designed to accept a remote contact closure for each video input. When the desired contacts are closed by a button or relay, the appropriate picture is selected. A master timer is then activated that can be adjusted to guarantee that the picture remains on the screen for the desired hold time. An internal contact is also closed that can be used to activate a VCR, a door chime or any controllable external device.
Each switcher should contain each of the following items:
·Instruction sheet
·Power Pack
·Switcher
If the CATS-2K was purchased you will also receive a RJ12 6-6 wall jack and a 6-6 cable.
The CATS-2 Switcher is a 2 input, alarming sequential switcher with many quality
features:

Cable Requirements:
The cable run from the phone plate should not exceed 300 feet and it is recommended that 24 GA wire or larger is used. Do not connect the wires for the alarm to any other
piece of equipment or voltage source as you may damage the inputs to the alarm circuitry.
If you provide the cable , it must have a reversal in wire. (Example).
If a RJ-12 6-4 cable and wall plate is used, the contact closure control for the VCR will be disabled.
Note:
1) Some blocks are wired differently. It is important to follow the color code, not the screw number on the block.
2) For RJ12, 6-4 there will be no white or blue wires for contact closure out.
