Installation Instructions

1. Select location to mount Stingerz® to provide best coverage.

2. Clean mounting locations on motorcycle with alcohol or 3M promotor (available in Stingerz® install kit)

3. Route both the non-black wire (+) and black wire (-) from Stingerz® back to central points near battery compartment under
seat. Route wires such that they not interfere with normal operation of bike. Cut off any excess wires, strip back insulation
as required. (See page 2 for wiring diagram)

4. The non-black wire connects to a 12 volt fusible source with an On/Off switch.

Warning: Never connect the non-black wire to a non-fusible power source.

Caution: If you install the non-black wire to the positive side of the battery, you will not be able to turn if and it will
drain the battery over time.

5. Black wire from LED will attach to the frame of the bike or the negative side of the battery.

6. Secure any remaining wires with tie wraps (not included).

7. Reconnect negative battery terminal to negative side of battery taking necessary precautions not to touch positive side of
battery or any positive cable.

Winter Kill Switch (1) to kill power to remote during storage

Fits: Compatible with 12VDC systems with a neg­ative ground.

Always wear appropriate safety gear including safety glasses when soldering or
performing any electrical work. It is highly recommended that safety glasses be
worn throughout this installation process. Temperature of bike must be at least 60
degrees F. for tape to properly cure. Read all directions before starting project.

Important: Disconnect negative battery cable from battery; refer to owner’s manual.
Failure do to so may result in electrical shock, injury, or fire. Secure negative battery
cable away from positive side of battery and all other positive voltage sources on
bike.

This product is designed and intended for use
as auxiliary lighting only. It is NOT intended to
replace any original equipment lighting in­stalled on the vehicle and should not be used
for that purpose. This product must be wired
so that it does not interfere with any original
equipment lighting.
