Caution

Most electronic devices use radio frequency signals. Your device may interfere with other electronic devices.

If you notice strange smells or sounds coming from your device or the battery, or if you see smoke or liquids leaking from the device or battery, stop using the device immediately and take it to a Maka Service Centre
Failure to do so may result in fire or explosion.
For your own safety, do not operate the controls of the product while driving.
Two window mounts are needed when using the recorder in a car. Make sure that you place the recorder in an appropriate place, so as not to obstruct the driver’s view.
Make sure that no object is blocking the camera lens and no reflective material appears near the lens.
Please keep the lens clean. If the
car’s
windscreen is tinted with a dark solar
film coating, it may affect the recording quality.

Do not store your device in very hot or very cold areas. It is recommended to use your device at temperatures from 0 °C
to60 °C
and humidity from
10% to 80%
Doing so may cause the screen to malfunction, result in damage to the device, or cause the battery to explode.
Do not use your device or applications for a while if the device is overheated
Prolonged exposure of your skin to an overheated device may cause low temperature burn symptoms, such as red spots and pigmentation.
Install mobile devices and equipment with caution
Ensure that any mobile devices or related equipment installed in your vehicle are securely mounted.
Avoid placing your device and accessories near or in an airbag deployment area. Improperly installed wired equipment can cause serious injury when airbags inflate rapidly.
Do not drop your device or cause impacts to your device
Your device may be damaged or may malfunction.
If bent or deformed, your device may be damaged or parts may malfunction.
Ensure maximum battery and charger life
Avoid charging your device for more than a week, as overcharging may shorten battery life.
Over time, unused device will discharge and must be recharged before use.

Leaving batteries unused over time may reduce their lifespan and performance. It may also cause the batteries to malfunction or explode, or cause a fire.

General Precautions
Please use this camera in accordance with the following security measures to avoid damage.
Keep away from
fire or extreme
heat source
Do not use camera in hot environment. High temperatures can deform the camera casing, causing damage to the internal electronic components and possibly making the camera malfunction.
Keep away from
water
Do not use camera near water. Any liquid into camera can make electronic short circuit and even cause damage for the camera.
Using of waterproof housing in any of the water environment.
Do not Dismantle
Do not dismantle the camera because it may lead to damage and directly affect your warranty rights and interests.
Do not
Percussion
Do not drop or knock the machine intensely. Rough handling will cause damage to the product components.
MicroSD Card
Using of specific MicroSD Card provided. Other types of SD card used cannot be guaranteed to be normal operation of the camera. Do not store MicroSD card in or near to any intense magnetic place in case of the storage data loss. Inserting other small object into the SD card slot could cause malfunction and damage the camera.
Device Charging
Do not use any unknown charger charging the camera. Any non-authorize charger used may cause damage to the camera component, probably permanent damage. It will lead to rapid heating or even burning because of using a non-authorize charger. During charging process, please stop charging and unplug the power immediately if notice in an event of overheating, smoke, or odor in order to avoid any risk of fire.
Battery
Do not use any non-authorize brands and types of battery. It may cause damage or malfunction to the

camera or even cause a fire.
USB cable
Do not modified or cut, pull hard or heavy compression on the USB cable. It may cause damage to the USB cable.
Exception handling
Any strange sound, smell, abnormal heating, please immediately remove the battery, unplug the USB cable and inform your distributor for advised.
Safe storage
Do not keep the camera near extreme temperatures or expose to direct sunlight. Please keep it in a cool, dry environment for storage.
Keep away from magnetic fields
Do not place the camera near anything having strong magnetic, such as magnets and motors. Also avoid using the camera near anything emitting strong radio waves and strong magnetic fields, which may cause product failure, or damage the image and sound.

6SD Installation
Your device accepts memory cards with maximum capacities of 32 GB. Depending on the memory card manufacturer and type, some memory cards may not be compatible with your device.
Some memory cards may not be fully compatible with the device. Using an incompatible card may damage the device or the memory card, or corrupt the data stored in it.
Use caution to insert the memory card right-side up as shown in the image below.
It is recommended to reformat a memory card every time images are
transferred from it to a computer, or at least once a month
Reformatting a memory card keeps
future
data and the structure of files stored on it clean, helping to prevent error messages and missing images. Reformatting also restores the memory card, which can prevent it from becoming corrupted.
Removing the memory card
Before removing the memory card, first unmounts it for safe removal.

Formatting the memory card
You may choose to format your memory card on a computer or on the device. On the device

7Camera start up and shut down
Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds (3-5 sec) to turn on the device. A welcome message will be displayed on screen as shown in the image below.
To turn off the device, press and hold the Power button for a few seconds (3-5 sec) again to turn off the device. A goodbye message will be displayed on screen as shown in the image below.

Use a compatible SDHC microSD card for HD video recording.
Get a microSD card that has minimum 8GB Class 10 speed.
