Bluetooth Mono Headset User’s Manual Model No.: BT1056
1. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the BT1056. Together with Bluetooth mobile phones and other Bluetooth embedded devices, the BT1056 allows you freedom to make and receive calls while on the move or in the office, you can connect the headset to a compatible phone that supports Bluetooth wireless technology. Please read the user manual to make the best use of this BT1056 and its many features.
2. Get started
Overview
The headset contains the following parts as shown in the figure:

Before you can start using the headset, you must charge the battery and pair the headset with a compatible phone. Note: Parts of the headset are magnetic, Metallic materials may be attracted to the headset .Do not place credit cards or other magnetic storage media near the headset, because information stored on them may be erased.
Charger and batteries
Check the model number of any charger before using it with this device. The Bluetooth headset is intended for use with the USB charging cable that is included in the package (AC adaptor is not included). If you use AC adapter, please make sure it’s output is DC5V & 200mA with correct local power supply voltage. Charge the battery This device has an internal, rechargeable battery. It connects the charging cable to the headset.
1. Connect the USB charging cable to a PC. The red indicator light is displayed during charging. If charging does not start, disconnect the charging cable, pug it again, and retry. Charging the battery fully may take up to 2 hours.
2. When the battery is fully charged, the red indicator light will turn blue. Disconnect the charging cable from the PC and the headset.
The fully charged battery has power for up to 4 hours of talk-time or up to 200 hours of standby time. However, the talk and standby times may vary when used with different mobile phones, products that use a Bluetooth connection, usage settings, usage styles, and environments. When the battery is running out of power, the red indicator light starts to flash.
Switch the headset on or off
To switch on, press and hold the Answer/end key for 3 seconds. The blue indicator light starts to flash. To switch off, press and hold the power key for 4 seconds until headset beeps 2 times and the red indicator light is displayed briefly.
Pair the headset with a compatible phone
1. make sure your headset is turn off
2. push the answer/end key for 8 second until the blue and red light flashes alternately
3. Activate the Bluetooth feature on the phone, and set the phone to search for Bluetooth devices. See the user guide of your phone for instructions.
4. Select the headset (BT 1056) from the list of found devices.
5. Enter the pass code 0000 to pair and connect the headset to your phone. In some phones you may need to make the connection separately after pairing. See the user guide of your phone for details. You only need to pair the headset with your phone once.
6. If the pairing is successful, the headset’s blue light will flash 3 times briefly for the first time follow by a single flash every 7 seconds. The headset’s name appears in the phone menu where you can view the currently paired Bluetooth devices.

Disconnect the headset from the phone
To disconnect the headset from your phone (for example, to connect the phone to another Bluetooth device), do one of the following:
·Switch off the headset.
·Disconnect the headset in the Bluetooth menu of your phone.
·Move the headset more than 10 meters (30 feet) away from the phone.
You do not need to delete the pairing with the headset to disconnect it.
Reconnect the paired headset to your phone
To connect the headset to your phone, switch on the headset, make the connection in the Bluetooth menu of your phone, or press and hold the answer/end key. You can set your phone to connect with the headset automatically when the headset is switched on. See the user guide of your phone for details.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot connect the headset to your phone, do as follows:
· Ensure that the headset is charged, switched on, paired with and connected to your phone.
· Ensure that the Bluetooth feature is activated on your phone.
· Check that the headset is within 10 meter (30 feet) of your phone and that there are no obstructions
between the headset and the phone, such as walls or other electronic devices.
3. Basic use
Call handling
To make a call
Use your phone in the normal way when the headset is connected to your phone.
To answer a call
Press the answer/end key, or use the phone keys. If the automatic answer function is set on, the phone automatically answers the incoming call after one ring.
To end a call
Press the answer/end key, or use the phone keys.
Redial the last dialed number
If your phone support redialing with this device, press and hold Answer/end key for 2 seconds to redial the last dialed number.
Voice dialing (dialing a number by saying a name)
It is possible to make a call directly from the headset using voice recognition. To use this voice dialing function, your mobile phone must provide this option and corresponding voice samples must have been recorded.
Step-1 Press the Answer/end button of the headset one time, you will hear a beep prompt. Step-2 When you hear a short tone, say the name of the person you wish to call loudly.
Adjust the earphone volume

Volume up
While in conversation, press the VOLUME + button to increase the volume.
Volume down
While in conversation, press the VOLUME - button to decrease the volume.
Switch the call between phone and headset
During a conversation, press and hold the Answer/end button for 3 Seconds, the BT1056 will be switched off and the call will be transferred to your mobile phone. If you want to transfer the call back to your BT1056, press and hold the Answer/end for 3 seconds till you hear a beep. Release the button and the call is transferred back to your BT1056.
Using the BT1056 with 2 mobile phones
BT1056 is capable of having two mobile phones connected to the headset at the same time. This will give you the freedom of having only headset to operate both your mobile phones.
1. Pair the second mobile phone.
Long press the – (volume down) button, release the buttons when the Status Indicator begins to flash red then blue. It means the headset enter the pairing mode. Your phone then asks if you want to pair with it. Accept by pressing ‘Yes’ on the phone and confirm with the passkey or PIN = 0000 (4 zeros).Your phone will confirm when pairing is complete.
2. Active the Multipoint Function
You need to active the multipoint Function by long pressing the headset + (volume up) and - (volume down) buttons. When you see the blue light turn on for about 3 seconds, then turn off, it means the Multipoint Function is active.
After pairing the second mobile phone, the first mobile phone will be disconnected with BT1056, so you need to connect the first mobile phone from the phone setting, and then both Mobiles are connecting with the BT1056.
Only it must observed that last number redial will dial the number from the last outgoing call, in dependent of the mobile phones, and the Voice Dialing function only will work on the last paired mobile phone.
