When using any electrical appliance and toreducetheriskoffire, electricalshock orserious
injury, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
1. Before using this appliance, please check carefully to make sure voltage (AC120V-60Hz) is
compatible with your home.
2. ALWAYS place appliance on a flat, level and stable surface.
3. Always attach Probe/Temperature Control to Electric Skillet first before plugging it in
electrical outlet.
4. Plug in Probe/Temperature Control to Electric Skillet making sure it is fully inserted in Skillet
socket. Skillet Socket Pins must be fully inserted into the 2 holes on each side of the Probe.
5. Turn Temperature Control Dial to lowest setting before inserting plug in electrical outlet.
6. Turn Temperature Control Dial to OFF position O position before disconnecting plug from
the electrical outlet.
7. NEVER use any other Probe/Temperature Control with Skillet than the one provided.
8. DO NOT let power cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch any hot surfaces.
9. DO NOT place or use the unit or any parts on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated
oven, or on stove top.
10. DO NOT use or place appliance near or on any flammable materials such as tablecloth, curtains, towels, paper, plastic, wood or other.
11. DO NOT operate this appliance on a non-heat-resistant surface as this may damage surface.
Place unit on a heat-resistant cooking surface such as tile, Formica® or
any surface protected with a heat resistant finish at least the size of the unit or larger, to
be placed underneath the appliance. CAUTION: ALWAYS protect surface underneath the
appliance from heat generated by the unit as it could cause permanent damage to surface.
12. This appliance should not be used by or near children, or persons with certain disabilities.
13. Thisproductisequippedwithapolarizedplug(onebladeiswiderthantheother blade) as a safety feature to reduce theriskofelectricalshock and fire. This plug will fit
intoapolarized outlet only one way. If you are unable toinserttheplugintothe electrical
outlet,tryreversingtheplug. If the plug still does notfit,contact a qualified electrician.
Never use the plug with an extension cord unless the plug canbefully inserted into the
extension cord, making sure the electrical rating of the extension cord is at least as great
as the electrical rating of this appliance (listed on the bottom panel of the unit). Do not alter
plug.Donotattempttodefeatthe safety purpose of the polarizedplug.
14. DO NOT operate this or any other appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, has been damaged in any way or if Base has been placed in water or
any other liquid. Send the unit to the nearest Authorized Service Center for inspection, repair
or adjustment. (ONLY qualified technicians should repair the unit).
15. To avoid risk of electrical shock, fire or injuries: DO NOT immerse Electric Skillet,
Probe/Temperature Control, electrical cord or plug in water or other liquid.

16. A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from entanglement
or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord may be used with care; however, be sure
the marked electrical rating is at least as great as the electrical rating of this appliance (listed
on the bottom panel of the unit). The extension cord should be positioned such that it does
not drape over the counter or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped
over. DO NOT use an outlet or extension cord if the plug fits loosely. DO NOT use extension
cord if electrical cord feels hot.
17. Keep electrical and extension cords away from appliance and any hot parts and surfaces of
the appliance during use.
18. The use of any accessories or attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may
cause injury.
19. DO NOT touch any of the hot surfaces of the appliance. Always use Handles or Knob to operate.
20. DO NOT move this or any appliance containing HOT food, liquid or other.
21. DO NOT deep fry food in Skillet.
22. Electric Skillet, Glass Lid and Probe become very HOT and should NOT be touched when in
operation, during cooking or just after use.
23. Extreme caution must be used when appliance is in use and when placing or removing food from Electric Skillet.
WARNING: This appliance generates heat that can cause burns and serious injuries.
USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN OPENING LID TO PLACE OR REMOVE FOOD FROM
HOT ELECTRIC SKILLET. USE HEAT PROOF OVEN MITTS. OPEN LID AWAY FROM FACE
AND HANDS AS STEAM ESCAPING FROM SKILLET COULD CAUSE BURNS, SCALDING
AND SERIOUS INJURIES.
24. DO NOT pour cold water in HOT Skillet, let cool completely before handling and cleaning.
25. Unplug the unit and ALWAYS allow HOT parts to cool down COMPLETELY before handling
or cleaning.
26. Unplug power cord from outlet when not in use. Clean and cover the unit and store in a dry,
clean place if not being used for an extended period of time.
27. This appliance is NOT recommended for outdoor use.
28. DO NOT use metal forks, knives, spatulas or other sharp utensils in Skillet as this may damage the non-stick coating. ALWAYS use plastic/nylon/wood utensils.
29. DO NOT clean unit or parts with any abrasive pads or cleaners.
30. DO NOT wash Skillet in dishwasher. Wash in hot soapy water, rinse well and let dry completely before storing or using. Wipe Probe/Temperature Control with a damp cloth and
wipe dry. DO NOT immerse Electric Skillet, Probe/Temperature Control, electrical cord
or plug in water or other liquid. Do not let Probe come in contact with water or any
liquid.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. DO NOT LEAVE APPLIANCE UNATTENDED WHEN
IN USE, WHEN APPLIANCE IS COOKING, WHEN APPLIANCE CONTAINS HOT FOOD OR
WHEN APPLIANCE IS STILL HOT. ALWAYS SUPERVISE CHILDREN WHEN THEY ARE NEAR
APPLIANCE. DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO OPERATE OR BE NEAR THE APPLIANCE WHEN
IN USE. CAUTION: SKILLET, GLASS LID & PROBE BECOME VERY HOT DURING OPERATION.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before rst use, wash Skillet in hot soapy water, rinse well and dry thoroughly. DO NOT
immerse Electric Skillet, Probe/Temperature Control, electrical cord or plug in water
or other liquid. DO NOT let the Probe come in contact with water or any liquid.
1. Adjust Temperature Control Dial to lowest position.
2. Insert Probe into Skillet socket, pushing it fully in. Skillet Socket Pins must be fully
inserted into the 2 holes on each side of the Probe. CAUTION: If Probe is not well and
fully inserted in Skillet Socket, abnormal heating may occur causing damage to unit
and risk of re and/or injury.
3. Plug cord into 120V~60Hz electrical outlet only. NOTE: Skillet will not function with
timer or remote-control system.
4. During cooking, Temperature Pilot Light may cycle On & O, indicating desired
temperature is being maintained.
5. Always monitor unit when cooking. Never leave unattended.
6. After use, turn Temperature Control Dial to OFF position O. Unplug unit from outlet
and let cool completely making sure unit is fully cooled down, disconnect Probe/
Temperature Control from Skillet. CAUTION: Probe becomes extremely hot during
operation. NEVER disconnect Probe until unit has fully cooled down. NEVER
touch Hot Probe. DANGER of serious burns & injury.
We recommend seasoning Skillet non-stick surface by applying a thin coat of vegetable
oil with paper towel. Discard paper towel. Bring Skillet to medium temperature and let oil
absorb for a minute. Turn Temperature Control O and let Skillet cool down. Repeat this
procedure from time to time.
•Do not heat Skillet to maximum temperature without any food or liquid in Skillet.
•Do not deep fry food in skillet
•Do not use metal forks, knives, spatulas or other sharp utensils in Skillet as this may
damage the non-stick coating. Always use plastic/nylon/wood utensils.
•Do not store Probe/Temperature Control directly on Skillet non-stick coating as it
could scratch or damage surface.
•Always use Skillet side handles, when moving or displacing unit.
•Do not wash Skillet with Probe/Temperature Control still connected.
•Do not wash Skillet or Probe/Temperature Control in dishwasher. Wash Skillet in hot
soapy water, rinse well and let dry completely before storing or using. Wipe Probe/
Temperature Control with a damp cloth and wipe dry.
•DO NOT immerse Electric Skillet, Probe/Temperature Control, electrical cord or plug
in water or other liquid. Do not let Probe come in contact with water or any liquid.

LIMITED ONE (1) YEAR WARRANTY
This appliance is warranted to be free from any manufacturing defects under normal
use and conditions for one (1) year from date of purchase. During that period, should
the appliance fail to operate properly, return the appliance with your sales receipt to
the store where purchased. This product warranty covers only the original consumer
purchase of the product. During the applicable warranty period, we will repair or
replace, at our discretion, any mechanical or electrical part which proves defective, or
replace unit with a comparable model. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties
and representation, expressed or implied, and all other obligations or liabilities on our
part.

This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damages from improper
installation, defects other than manufacturing defects, damages from misuse, abuse,
accident, negligence, alteration, lack of proper care and maintenance, or incorrect
current or voltage. This warranty shall not apply to any appliance that has been
repaired or altered by other than an Authorized Dealer or Service Center.
If unit malfunctions, do not use the appliance
and contact nearest Authorized Service Center.
