accide nt, mi suse or abuse, including damage caused by overheating, and i t does not apply
to scratches , stain s, dis colora tion or other damage to externa l or internal su rfaces that
does n ot impair the fu nction al utili ty of t he tool/gad get. Th is warr anty also expr essly
exclude s all incidental or co nseque ntial da mages. Some s tates do not a llow the exclusio n
or limitation of incidental or cons equential dama ges, so the for egoing l imitati on or
exclusion may no t apply to you. This war ranty gives you spec ific legal rig hts, and you m ay
also have other right s, whic h vary from st ate to state.

Califo rnia law provides that for In -Warrant y Ser vice, Califor nia res ident s have the option of
returni ng a non confor ming pro duct (a) to the store wher e it was purchased or (b) to ano ther
retail store w hich se lls Cui sinar t® prod ucts of the same type. The retail store shall the n,
accord ing to it s pref erence, either repair t he prod uct, refer the consum er to an i ndepen dent
repair facilit y, repla ce the p roduct, or re fund th e purchase pri ce les s the am ount dir ectly
attributabl e to the consumer’s prior usage of the produc t. If t he above two op tions d o not
result in the a ppropr iate rel ief to t he cons umer, the c onsume r may the n take the product to
an inde penden t repair facili ty, if se rvice or repair can be econ omicall y accom plishe d.
Cuisin art, and not the con sumer, will be res ponsib le for t he reas onable cost o f such
serv ice, repair, repla cement or refu nd for n onconforming p roduct s unde r warranty.

direct ly to Cu isinar t for r epair, or if necessary, replacement, by calli ng our C onsume r
