Declaration of conformity to the applicable provisions of

USE ONLY

STERILIZER USE INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Insert 3xAAA alkaline batteries into battery
compartment (look for the symbol on unit for
correct battery placement).

2. Open door by sliding the front cover from left
to right.

3. Insert paci er into clips located inside unit cavity
and/or remove clips by grabbing and pulling rubber
clips out of unit to insert objects like bottle nipples
and other baby accessories.

4. Close door.

Note: To re-insert clips: Hold the rubber clip so the

word “UP” is parallel to the side wall of the unit.

Insert the “T” section of rubber clip into the square
hole in the back of the chamber. Rotate and twist
the rubber clip so that the word is up and the angle
section faces inward.

5. Press and hold the side button for 2 seconds to
begin process. The LED light stays on.

6. The sanitizing process will take up to 6 minutes.
Note: It may take up to 30 seconds for bulb to
illuminate.

7. During the sanitizing process, unit automatically
shuts off when door is open.

8.

Unit automatically shuts off when cycle is complete.

9. Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to end the
process.

10. Three quick blinks followed by a 3-second pause
indicates the batteries are low.

11. Any other services should be performed by an
authorized service representative.

CLEANING DIRECTIONS:

To clean inside unit:

1. Use a damp cloth to wipe down all internal surfaces
of unit. Use water only.

2. DO NOT Immerse in water.

18-month Limited Warranty. This warranty supersedes
all previous warranties on the Cuisinart

UV Sterilizer.
This warranty is available to consumers only. You are

a consumer if you own a Cuisinart

®

Baby Portable UV
Sterilizer that was purchased at retail for personal,
family or household use. Except as otherwise required
under applicable state law, this warranty is not available
to retailers or other commercial purchasers or owners.

We warrant that your Cuisinart

®

Baby Portable UV Ster­ilizer will be free of defects in material or workmanship
under normal home use for 18 months from the date of
original purchase.

We recommend that you visit our website,
www.cuisinart.com for a fast, ef cient way to complete
your product registration. However, product registration
does not eliminate the need for the consumer to main­tain the original proof of purchase in order to obtain
the warranty bene ts. In the event that you do not have
proof of purchase date, the purchase date for purposes
of this warranty will be the date of manufacture. If your

be defective within the warranty period, we will repair

to the product’s return. Please pay by check or money
order made payable to Cuisinart.

NOTE: For added protection and secure handling of
any Cuisinart product that is being returned, we recom­mend you use a traceable, insured delivery service.
Cuisinart cannot be held responsible for in-transit
damage or for packages that are not delivered to us.
Lost and/or damaged products are not covered

manufactured to the strictest speci cations and has
been designed for use only 3 xAAA alkaline batteries

and only with authorized accessories and replacement
parts. This warranty expressly excludes any defects or
damages caused by attempted use of this unit with a
converter, as well as use with accessories, replacement
parts or repair service other than those authorized by
Cuisinart. This warranty does not cover any damage
caused by accident, misuse, shipment or other than
ordinary household use. This warranty excludes all
incidental or consequential damages. Some states do
not allow the exclusion or limitation of these damages,
so these exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty
gives you speci c legal rights, and you may also have
other rights, which vary from state to state.

CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS ONLY

California law provides that for In-Warranty Service,
California residents have the option of returning a
nonconforming product (A) to the store where it was
purchased or (B) to another retail store which sells
Cuisinart products of the same type. The retail store
shall then, according to its preference, either repair the
product, refer the consumer to an independent repair
facility, replace the product, or refund the purchase
price less the amount directly attributable to the
consumer’s prior usage of the product. If either of the
above two options does not result in the appropriate
relief to the consumer, the consumer may then take the

PARA USO DOMÉSTICO
SOLAMENTE

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO:

1. Abra el compartimiento de las pilas e instale 3 pilas

alcalinas AAA, respetando los signos de polaridad
indicados adentro del compartimiento.

2. Abra la puerta, deslizando la cubierta de la izquierda

a la derecha.

3. Coloque el artículo que desea esterilizar (p. ej. un

chupón) en la unidad, usando los clips de caucho
para sostenerlo. O: saque los clips de caucho
(jalándolos) y coloque los objetos tales como las
tetinas y otros accesorios para bebé en la unidad.

4. Cierre la puerta.
Nota: para volver a instalar los clips:

Sostenga el clip de caucho de manera que
la palabra “UP” esté paralela a la pared
interior de la unidad. Introduzca la parte en
“T” en la parte trasera del clip en el orificio
cuadrado en el fondo del esterilizador. Gire
el clip de caucho hasta que la palabra “UP”
se encuentre arriba y que el ángulo del clip
apunte hacia dentro.

5. Presione y mantenga oprimido el botón de

encendido por 2 segundos para empezar el ciclo
de esterilización; el indicador luminoso LED se
encenderá.

6. El ciclo de esterilización durará aproximadamente

6 minutos. Nota: puede que el indicador luminoso
no se encienda inmediatamente, sino hasta 30
segundos después que haya empezado el ciclo de
esterilización.

7. La unidad se apagará automáticamente si abre la

puerta.

8.

La unidad se apagará automáticamente al final del

ciclo.

9. Para apagar la unidad en cualquier momento,

presione y mantenga oprimido el botón de
encendido.

10. Si el indicador luminoso parpadea rápidamente y

luego se apaga por 3 segundos, esto significa que
las pilas están agotadas.

11. Cualquier otro servicio debe ser realizado por un

técnico autorizado.

LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO

Para limpiar el interior de la unidad:

1. Limpie todas las superficies internas con un paño

limpio ligeramente humedecido. Utilice agua
solamente.
