Rear Weight Box - For Model EX 3200
Model Number: 59A40013727
The 59A40013727 Weight Box attachment is designed for use on certain Cub Cadet Yanmar tractor models. The weight box can carry a maximum additional weight of 800 lbs.
IMPORTANT: Do not overload the tractor. Use only the additional weight needed to counterbalance the weight of the specific front mounted equipment.
NOTE: All three point hitch mounted equipment must be removed from the tractor to install the weight box.
Installing the Weight Box
• Two 711-1105 klik pins have been provided to fasten the weight box to the two lower links of the tractor’s 3-point hitch. Remove the klik pins from the weight box.
NOTE: The clevis pin and klik pin used to secure the weight box to the top link of the 3-point hitch should be with the tractor. If they are not, it will be necessary to acquire the needed hardware from your Cub Cadet Yanmar dealer before installing the weight box.
Back the tractor up to the weight box assembly so that one of
the 3-point hitch lower links is on each side of the box.
• Slide each lower link onto the pin on the respective side of the weight box assembly. Insert a klik pin (711-1105) into the hole of each pin, and pivot the klik pin ring over the end of the pin to lock in position. Refer to Figure 1.
• Lower the 3-point hitch top link from its retainer and position between the two mounting brackets on the top of the weight box. Refer to Figure 1.

• Remove the klik pin and clevis pin from the top link.
• Following the instructions in the tractor operator’s manual, adjust the top link as necessary to align with the mounting brackets of the weight box. Insert the clevis pin though the weight box mounting brackets and the top link, and secure with the klik pin.
Using the Weight Box
• Use only solid weight (e.g. concrete, sand bags, stones, metal plates) in the weight box.
• Refer to the front attachment ’s owner’s manual, or the tractor operator’s manual, for the amount of weight that needs to be added to the rear of the tractor.
• Where possible, the weight box should be carried in the lowered position (approximately 12” from the ground) to provide optimal counterbalance for the front mounted equipment, and stability for the tractor. If it is necessary to carry the box higher, more weight may have to be added to the box to effectively counterbalance the front equipment.
WARNING: Use extreme caution when operating the tractor with the weight box in the raised position. Raising the weight box may raise the center of gravity of the tractor, which could increase the risk of rollover.
