IMPORTANT: The grill guard is designed only to protect the
tractor’s grill from accidental damage during operation. DO NOT
use the grill guard to push or pull objects.
Remove the grill guard from the shipping container. Lay the
contents out and compare with Figure 1 to make sure all parts are
present. To install the grill guard, proceed as follows:
• On one side of the tractor, hold one of the mounting brackets
(2) up near the front of the tractor frame, and align its three
holes with the matching through holes in the tractor frame.
Refer to Figure 2.
NOTE : The holes are in the tractor frame, not in the weight
bracket on the front of the frame.
• Insert three hex screws (3 ) through the mounting bracket and
frame, and thread a hex lock nut (4) onto each screw. Refer to
Figure 2.
• Tighten the three hex lock nuts until almost snug, but do not
tighten now.
• On the other side of the tractor, repeat the previous three
steps to install the other mounting bracket (2).
• Position the grill guard (1) between the two mounting brackets
on the tractor, and align its holes with the holes in both mounting brackets. Refer to Figure 2.
• While holding the grill guard in position, insert three of the hex
screws (3) through the mounting bracket and grill guard on
one side of the tractor, and thread a hex lock nut (4) onto each
screw. Refer to Figure 2.
• Continue holding the grill guard and Inser t the remaining three
hex screws (3) through the mounting bracket and grill guard
on the other side of the tractor. Thread a hex lock nut (4) onto
each of the three screws. Refer to Figure 2.

• Fully tighten the six hex screws and lock nuts fastening the
grill guard to the mounting brackets.
• On each side of the tractor, fully tighten the hex screws and
lock nuts, to secure the grill guard assembly to the tractor.
