To avoid any unnecessary inconvenience on your purchased product, we recommend that you read the documentation carefully before using your headphones.
PRECAUTIONS
Avoid listening with your headphones at high volume, it may affect your hearing.
Please keep at all times your headphones clean especially inside the silicone earbud.
If any dust or ear wax appears inside the earbud, you may experience some sound distortion or
listening difficulties.
The earbuds may deteriorate due to long-term storage or use.
Install the earbuds firmly onto the headphones. If an earbud accidentally detaches and is left in your
ear, it may cause injury.
Be careful not to allow any buttons to be unintentionally pressed when the headphones with a player or
smartphone connected are in the supplied carrying pouch, etc.
Note on static electricity: In particularly dry air conditions, mild tingling may be felt on your ears. This is a result of static electricity accumulated in the body, and not a malfunction of the headphones. The effect can be minimized by wearing clothes made from natural materials.
Be aware that any changes or modifications not expressly approved in this manual could void your authority to operate this equipment.
The validity of the CE marking is restricted to only those countries where it is legally enforced, mainly in the countries EEA (European Economic Area).
iPod and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.
DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT (Applicable in the European Union and other European countries with separate collection systems)
This symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product shall not be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product. The recycling of materials will help to conserve natural resources. HOW TO USE Wearing the headphones
Wear the earpiece marked R in your right ear and the one marked L in your left ear.
How to use the cord slider
Move up and down to change the split position of the cord.
How to use the remote and microphone
You can use the remote control button to control a connected player or Smartphone*
Press the volume + button to increase the volume of the connected iPod/iPhone product.
• Press once the center button to play/pause a track of the connected device
Press twice the center button to skip to the next track.
Press three times the center button to skip to the previous track or the beginning of track.
------- Start the “VoiceOver” feature (if available) with a long press of the center button.
• Press the center button once to answer the call. Press the center button again to end.
---- Hold down the center button for about two seconds to reject an incoming call. When you let go, two low beeps confirm the call was rejected. Press the volume – button decreases the volume of the connected iPod/iPhone product.
* Connected device might not support all of the remote control functions.
How to install the earbuds correctly
If the earbuds do not fit your ears correctly, low-bass sound may not be heard. To enjoy better sound quality, change the earbuds to another size, (two more sizes supplied), or adjust the earbuds position to sit on your ears comfortably and fit your ears snugly. If the earbuds do not fit your ears, try another size. If you wish a better sound isolation, please use the double stage ear tips or (for even further isolation) the and triple stage ear tips supplied. When you change the earbuds, turn to install them firmly on the headphones to prevent the earbud from detaching and remaining in your ear.
To detach an earbud
While holding the headphone, twist and pull the earbud off.
Tip: If the earbud slips and cannot be detached, wrap it in a dry soft cloth.
To attach an earbud
Push the parts inside of the earbud into the headphone until the projecting part of the headphone is fully covered.
Cleaning the earbuds
Remove the earbuds from the headphones, and wash them with a mild detergent solution. We recommend Crystal Acoustics cleaning solution.

To avoid any unnecessary inconvenience on your part, we recommend that you read the documentation carefully before seeking guarantee service. This Guarantee applies to your Crystal Acoustics product if stated in the leaflets that accompanied your product provided that it was purchased within the Guarantee Area. By this Guarantee, Crystal Acoustics guarantees the product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the date of original purchase for a period of not less than TWO YEARS from that date. The Crystal Acoustics company that provides and will honor this Guarantee is designated in this Guarantee or accompanying leaflets under the country where you seek guarantee service. If within the guarantee period the product is determined to be defective (at the date of original purchase) due to improper materials or workmanship, Crystal Acoustics will, without charge for labor or parts, repair or (at Crystal Acoustics’s discretion) replace the product or its defective parts subject to the terms and limitations below. Crystal Acoustics may replace defective products or parts with new or refurbished products or parts. All products and parts replaced become the property of Crystal Acoustics.
Terms
1. Guarantee services will be provided only if the original invoice or sales receipt (indicating the date of purchase, model
name and dealer’s name) is presented with the defective product within the guarantee period. Crystal Acoustics may refuse free-of-charge guarantee service if these documents are not presented or if they are incomplete or illegible. This Guarantee will not apply if the model name or serial number on the product has been altered, deleted, removed or made illegible.
2. To avoid damage to or loss/erasure of removable data storage media or accessories, you must remove these before submitting your product for guarantee service.
3. This Guarantee does not cover transport costs and risks associated with transport of your product to and from Crystal Acoustics.
4. This guarantee does not cover:
• periodic maintenance and repair or parts replacement due to wear and tear
• consumables (components that are expected to require periodic replacement during the lifetime of a product such as batteries).
• damage or defects caused by use, operation or treatment of the product inconsistent with normal personal or domestic use
• damage or changes to the product as a result of misuse, including: > treatment resulting in physical, cosmetic or surface damage or changes to the product or damage to liquid crystal displays. > failure to install or use the product for its normal purpose or in accordance with Crystal Acoustics instructions on installation or use. > failure to follow Crystal Acoustics Safety Regulations instructions. > failure to maintain the product in accordance with Crystal Acoustics instructions on proper maintenance. > installation or use of the product in a manner inconsistent with the technical or safety laws or standards in the country where it is installed or used. > virus infections or use of the product with software not provided with the product or incorrectly installed software. > the condition of or defects in systems with which the product is used or incorporated except other Crystal Acoustics products designed to be used with the product. > use of the product with accessories, peripheral equipment and other products of a type, condition and standard other than prescribed by Crystal Acoustics. > repair or attempted repair by persons who are not Crystal Acoustics or ASN members. > adjustments or adaptations without Crystal Acoustics’s prior written consent, including: > upgrading the product beyond specifications or features described in the instruction manual, or modifications to the product to conform it to national or local technical or safety standards in countries other than those for which the product was specifically designed and manufactured
• neglect
• accidents, fire, liquids, chemicals, other substances, flooding, vibrations, excessive heat, improper ventilation, power surges, excess or incorrect supply or input voltage, radiation, electrostatic discharges including lighting, other external forces and impacts
5. This guarantee covers only hardware components of the product. It does not cover software (whether of Crystal Acoustics or others) for which an end-user license agreement or separate warranty/guarantee statements or exclusions are provided or intended to apply.
6. We would like to inform you that the diagnostic fee of your product shall be paid by you if: a) the diagnosis of your product performed by Crystal Acoustics proves that you will not be entitled to a repair under this guarantee (for whatever reason) to rectify the defect; b) or your product is working properly and no hardware fault could be diagnosed.
Exclusions and limitations
Except as stated above, Crystal Acoustics makes no warranties (express, implied, statutory or otherwise) regarding product or accompanying or constituent software quality, performance, accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or otherwise. If this exclusion is not permitted or fully permitted by applicable law, Crystal Acoustics excludes or limits its warranties only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Any warranty that cannot be fully excluded will be limited (as far as permitted by applicable law) to the duration of this Guarantee. Crystal Acoustics’s only obligation under this Guarantee is to repair or replace products subject to these Guarantee terms and conditions. Crystal Acoustics is not liable for any loss or damage relating to products, service, this Guarantee or otherwise, including
• economic or intangible losses
• the price paid for the product
• loss of profits, revenue, data, enjoyment or use of the product or any associated products
• indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage.
This applies whether that loss or damage relates to:
• impaired or non-operation of the product or associated products through defects or unavailability while with Crystal Acoustics, which caused downtime, loss of user time or business interruption
• inaccuracy of output from the product or associated products.
• damage to or loss of software programs or removable data storage media, or
• virus infections and other causes. This applies to loss and damages under any legal theory, including negligence and other torts, breach of contract, express or implied warranty, and strict liability (even where Crystal Acoustics has been advised of the possibility of such damages). Where applicable law prohibits or limits these liability exclusions, Crystal Acoustics excludes or limits its liability only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. For example, some countries prohibit the exclusion or limitation of damages resulting from negligence, gross negligence, willful misconduct, deceit and similar acts. Crystal Acoustics’s liability under this guarantee will in no case exceed the price paid for the product, but if applicable law permits only higher liability limitations, the higher limitations apply.
Your legal rights reserved
Consumers have legal (statutory) rights under applicable national laws relating to the sale of consumer products. This guarantee does not affect statutory rights you may have nor those rights that cannot be excluded or limited, nor rights against the person from whom you purchased the product. You may assert any rights you have at your sole discretion.
