License Plate Light Camera with White LED for

VOLKSWAGEN Vehicles 2008-2015

1. Carefully remove the factory license plate light.

2. Tap the RED (+12V) and BLACK (ground) wires of the CVW-07L to the factory license plate light wiring.

3. Run the camera cable to the inside of the cabin towards the radio.

4. Make the power and video connecons to the rear view camera integraon interface or the aermarket radio.

5. Test the camera and LED light for funconality.

6. Install the new license plate light camera.

+12V Red

*NOTE: To power the camera, use RED Wire A or B. If tapping power from the radio or RVC Interface, make sure to

insulate RED Wire A to avoid it from shorng. If you will be tapping power from the reverse light +12V, insulate RED
Wire B to avoid it from shorng. With either connecon the Black GROUND wire needs to be connected to a solid chassis
ground. For vehicles with manual transmission, we recommend tapping +12V power from the reverse light.

WHITE Wire: Connect to show parking guide line. Disconnect to remove. Insulate with tape to avoid from shorng.
Note: Cycle the camera power aer connecng or disconnecng the control wire.
