1. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

• ALWAYS treat the air rie as though it is loaded and ready to re.

• ALWAYS treat air ries with the same respect you would a rearm.

• ALWAYS store the air rie unloaded and away from children.

• ALWAYS aim in a SAFE DIRECTION.

• ALWAYS keep the muzzle of the air rie pointed in a SAFE DIRECTION.

• ALWAYS keep your nger o the trigger and out of the trigger guard until ready to shoot.

• ALWAYS keep the air rie “ON SAFE” until you are ready to shoot (Figure 2).

• ALWAYS check to see if the air rie is “ON SAFE” (Figure 2) and unloaded when removing it from storage.

• ALWAYS have you and others wear shooting glasses to protect your eyes. Wear shooting glasses over reading or prescription glasses.

• ALWAYS place a shooting backstop in a location that will be safe should the backstop fail.

• ALWAYS check your backstop for wear before and after each use. All backstops are subject to wear and will eventually fail. Replace your backstop if the

surface is worn or damaged, or if a ricochet occurs.

• ALWAYS use the proper size ammunition in your air rie. Check the markings on your air rie to verify the BBs size.

• NEVER point the air rie at any person or at anything you do not intend to shoot.

• NEVER reuse ammunition.

• NEVER shoot at hard surfaces or at the surface of water. The pellet may bounce o or ricochet and hit someone or something you had not intended to hit.

• NEVER attempt to disassemble or tamper with your air rie. Use an Authorized Service Station. Using an unauthorized service or repair center, or modifying

the function of your air rie in any way, may be unsafe and will void your warranty.

3. OPERATING THE SAFETY CAUTION: Like all mechanical devices, an air rie safety can fail. Even when the safety is “ON SAFE”, you should continue to handle

the air rie in a safe manner.

To put the air rie “ON SAFE”

1. Locate the safety directly above of the trigger on the right side of the air rie (Fig. 2).

2. Slide the safety toward the rear of the rie.

3. The safety is ON and the air rie is “ON SAFE” when the safety is pushed rmly toward “SAFE”.

4. The safety is not “ON SAFE” unless it is pushed completely to the rear.

To take the air rie “OFF SAFE” and put it in the “FIRE” position

1. Slide the safety forward toward the “FIRE” for FIRE or “OFF SAFE.”

2. When the safety button on the right side of the air rie is all the way forward, it is “OFF SAFE” and can be red

(Fig. 2).

You should not take the air rie “OFF SAFE” until after you have read and followed the instructions in this manual on how to load.

KEEP THE AIR RIFLE IN THE “ON SAFE” POSITION UNTIL YOU ARE ACTUALLY READY TO SHOOT. THEN PUSH THE SAFETY TO THE “OFF SAFE” POSITION.

4. INSTALLING AND REMOVING THE CO

• CO2 CYLINDERS MAY EXPLODE AT TEMPERATURES ABOVE 120°F 48.9°C. DO NOT MUTILATE OR INCINERATE THEM. DO NOT EXPOSE THEM TO HEAT OR

STORE CO2 CYLINDERS AT TEMPERATURES ABOVE 120°F 48.9°C.

• ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE CO2 CARTRIDGE IS EMPTY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO REMOVE IT FROM THE AIR RIFLE BY SLOWLY TURNING THE WING COUNTER

CLOCKWISE ALL THE WAY UNTIL YOU NO LONGER HEAR THE ESCAPE OF CO2 GAS.

• KEEP HANDS AND FACE AWAY FROM ESCAPING CO2 GAS. IT CAN CAUSE FROSTBITE IF ALLOWED TO COME IN CONTACT WITH SKIN.

CAUTION:

• We recommend the use of Crosman Powerlet CO

properly and may result in injury to you or damage to your air rie.

• Do not store your air rie with a CO

Installing a New CO2 Cartridge

1. Put the air rie “ON SAFE” (Fig. 2).

2. Make sure the air rie is UNLOADED and POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION.

3. Remove the grip cover(s) from the left side of the air rie by lifting it at the Finger Notch indentation on the bottom of the grip

(Fig. 3A).

4. Turn the piercing wing (Fig. 3B) counter-clockwise to allow for clearance of the CO

5. Put 1 drop of Crosman 0241 Pellgunoil® on the tip of every CO

5. CAUTION:

CAUTION: Fill the BB reservoir with BBs only. Use of pellets will jam the BB reservoir.

IMPORTANT: In order for BBs to re, they may transfer from the reservoir to the internal BB magazine.

IMPORTANT: BBs will only transfer from the reservoir to the internal magazine if the Feed Bar is

locked forward and the air rie is gently rocked back and forth

piercing the cartridge, try tightening the screw slightly more. Be careful not to over-tighten when piercing.

8. To make sure the cartridge has been pierced, point the gun in a SAFE DIRECTION, take “OFF SAFE” and pull the trigger. If the air rie

does not make a popping noise after pulling the trigger, the CO lever a little more, point the air rie in a SAFE DIRECTION, and pull the trigger until there is a popping noise, which means the air rie is releasing CO2 with each pull of the trigger.

9. Reinstall grip cover(s).

Removing the CO2 Cartridge

1. Put the air rie “ON SAFE” (Fig. 2).

2. Make sure the air rie is UNLOADED and POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION.

3. Remove the grip cover(s) from the left side of the air rie by lifting it at the Finger Notch on the bottom of the grip. The right hand

grip cover can also be removed if more room is needed to turn the piercing wing

4. Slowly turn the piercing wing counter-clockwise, to release any remaining CO

escaping gas

5. Tip out the empty cartridge. It may be cold to the touch

6. Snap the grip cover(s) back into the closed position

• Your air rie was designed to function best with Crosman® or Copperhead® branded 4.5 mm BBs.

• Use of any other ammunition may cause injury to you or damage to the air rie.

• Never reuse ammunition.

• Read this entire manual, including the section on reviewing safety, before ring your air rie.

Loading BBs:

1. Load BBs into the reservoir a. Put the air rie “ON SAFE” (Fig. 3.1). b. Point the air rie in a SAFE DIRECTION. c. Locate the BB Fill Port on the top of the receiver in front of the rear sight (Fig. 5A). d. Slide the BB Fill Port button open (Fig. 5A). e. Pour no more than 150 BBs into the BB reservoir through the BB Fill Port. Close the BB Fill Port.

2. Load BBs into the internal BB magazine from the reservoir

a. Ensure the BB Fill Port is closed(Fig. 5B). b. Slide the Feed Bar forward and down into the locked position (Fig. 5C). c. Point the air rie in a SAFE DIRECTION d. Using a back and forth motion, rock the air rie to ll the internal BB

DO NOT POINT AT ANYTHING YOU DO NOT INTEND TO SHOOT.

EVEN THOUGH YOU GO THROUGH THE UNLOADING PROCEDURE, CONTINUE TO TREAT THE AIR RIFLE AS THOUGH IT WERE LOADED.

IMPORTANT: To completely unload BBs, they must be removed from two areas of the air rie, the internal magazine and the reservoir.

1. Internal Magazine a. Put the air rie “ON SAFE” (Fig. 3.1). b. Point the air rie in a SAFE DIRECTION. c. Slide the Feed Bar forward and down into the locked position (Fig. 5C). d. Flip the air rie upside down so the BB Fill Port is pointing down. e. Using a back and forth motion, rock the air rie to move the BBs from the internal BB magazine to the Reservoir.

IMPORTANT: If you still see BBs in the internal BB magazine, continue gently rocking the air rie until they transfer into the BB reservoir.

DO NOT ASSUME ALL BBs ARE REMOVED FROM THE MAGAZINE WHEN THEY ARE NO LONGER VISIBLE. ALWAYS TREAT YOUR AIR RIFLE AS IF IT IS LOADED.

AIMING AND FIRING SAFELY

CAUTION:

• REMEMBER, choose your targets carefully and be sure that the area around the target is clear

• THINK what you will hit if you miss the target!

• Do not store your gun cocked or loaded.

• You and others with you should always wear shooting glasses to protect your eyes.

MAINTENANCE

(Fig. 5D).

2. Reservoir a. Ensure the Feed Bar is in the CLOSED position (Fig. 5C) to block the BBs from re-entering the internal magazine. b. Turn the gun so the BB Fill Port is facing down. c. Gently rock the gun until all the BBs fall out of the BB Fill Port and you no longer hear them in the air rie.

1. Your air rie is designed for target shooting and is suited for both indoor and outdoor use.

2. Follow the instructions for loading CO

3. The air rie is correctly aimed when the front sight post is positioned exactly in the center of the notch of the rear sight. The bulls-eye should appear to rest on the top

of the front sight (Fig. 6).

1. When you are sure of your target and backstop, and the area around the target is clear, take the air rie “OFF SAFE” (Fig. 2) and pull the trigger to re.

2. Do not re-use ammo because it could cause damage to your air rie.

1. The rear notch sight may be adjusted to shoot higher or lower (elevation). Loosen the elevation adjustment screw by turning it counterclockwise. Move the sight up

to make BB hit higher on the target. Move the sight down to make the BB hit lower on the target. Then tighten the elevation adjustment screw by turning it clockwise (Fig. 6).

2. The rear sight may be adjusted to shoot right or left (windage). Turn the windage adjustment screw to move the rear sight to the right or left. Move the sight to the right to make the BB hit to the right or move the sight to the left to make the BB hit to the left. (Fig. 6).

A. General Maintenance

1. Before you attempt to oil your air rie, make sure the gun is unloaded and the CO2 cylinder has been removed.

2. Putting a drop of Pellgunoil® on the tip of every CO

petroleum distillate based oil or solvent and DO NOT over-oil as this can cause damage to your air rie and possible injury to the shooter and bystanders.

3. If you drop the air rie, visually inspect for damage before using again.

4. Periodically check your air rie. If anything seems changed, like a shorter or weaker trigger pull, this

may mean worn out or broken parts. Call customer service for assistance before using your air rie again

TROUBLESHOOTING – If you experience low velocity, please try the following tip:

PERFORMANCE

Many factors aect velocity, including brand of projectile, type of projectile, lubrication, barrel condition and temperature. This air rie was designed to function best with CROSMAN® and COPPERHEAD® branded ammunition. Use of other ammunition may cause the air pistol to malfunction.

LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY

This product is warranted to the retail consumer for one year from date of retail purchase against defects in material and workmanship and is transferable. You should retain the original sales receipt as record of date of purchase. If no receipt, the product is warranted for one year from date of manufacture.

WHAT IS COVERED:

1. Replacement parts and labor.

2. Transportation charges to consumer for repaired product. WHAT IS NOT COVERED:

1. Transportation charges to Authorized Service Station for defective product.

2. Damages caused by abuse, modication or failure to perform normal maintenance – see Owner’s Manual.

3. Any other expense.

WARRANTY CLAIM AND REPAIR SERVICE

If your air gun needs repair - DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DISASSEMBLE IT! Your air gun requires special tools and xtures to repair it. Any disassembly or modication not performed by a Crosman Authorized Service Center will void the warranty. You will be instructed where and how to send your air gun in for repair under warranty or referred to one of our authorized service centers in your area.

Include with your product a copy of your receipt and a brief description of the problem. Be sure to indicate your name, mailing address, email address and telephone number. Allow 2-4 weeks for repairs. We recommend you use a method of shipping that provides you with a tracking number and insurance options. Crosman is not liable for any damaged, lost or stolen merchandise during shipping.

1. Storage Magazine holds BBs and CO2 cartridge. To access the Storage Magazine, push the Magazine Lever

toward the magazine then gently rock the magazine forward and away from the gun.

2. The Storage Magazine door opens by lightly lifting up on the top cover and can be used to store BBs and CO

(Fig. 7).

Removable Stock

1. To install the stock, line the stock up with the grooves at the back of the rie. With the stock in the position

shown (Fig. 8), push the stock down until it locks into place.

2. To remove the Stock, pull the Stock Latch release button toward the back of the stock. Push the stock upward

until it has cleared the attachment grooves.

1. Deslice el seguro hacia delante hacia “FIRE” para FUEGO u “OFF SAFE”.

2. Cuando el botón del seguro del lado derecho del rie de aire esté totalmente hacia delante, está desactivado

(“OFF SAFE”) y puede dispararse (Fig. 2).

3. No debe quitar el seguro (“OFF SAFE”) del rie de aire sino hasta después de haber leído y seguido las instruc-

introducirlos en el cargador interno de balines, libere la barra de alimentación para que vuelva a la posición cerrada (Fig. 5E). En la posición cerrada, los balines permanecen en el cargador interno y no pueden rodar de vuelta al depósito de balines.

e. Con un movimiento hacia atrás y adelante, balancee el rie de aire para mover los balines del cargador interno

IMPORTANTE: Si todavía ve balines en el cargador interno, continúe balanceando el rie de aire hasta que se transeran al depósito de

balines. NO DEBE ASUMIR QUE TODOS LOS BALINES SE HAN EXTR AÍDO DEL CARGADOR CUANDO YA NO SON VISIBLES. SIEMPRE TRATE SU RIFLE DE AIRE COMO SI ESTUVIERA CARGADO.

APUNTAR Y DISPARAR CON SEGURIDAD

A. Mantenimiento general

3. Cambie los cartuchos según sea necesario.
