pistol. Please read this owner’s manual completely. And remember, this airgun is not a toy. Treat it with
the same respect you would a firearm. Always carefully follow the safety instructions found in this owner’s
manual and keep this manual in a safe place for future use.

1. Learning the Parts of Your New Airgun

Learning the names of the parts of your new airgun will help you to understand your owner’s manual. Use this manual to
increase your enjoyment of this airgun.

2. Operating the Safety

A. To Put the Airgun “ON SAFE:”

• Locate the safety on the right side of the airgun.

• Push the safety in and all the way forward toward the “S” for “ON SAFE” (Fig. 2). The safety
is not “ON SAFE” unless it is pushed all the way forward.

Like all mechanical devices, an airgun safety can fail. Even when the safety is “ON SAFE”, you
should continue to handle the airgun safely. NEVER point the airgun at any person. NEVER point
the airgun at anything you do not intend to shoot.

B. To Take the Airgun “OFF SAFE”:

• Push the safety in and all the way backward toward the “F” for “OFF SAFE”.

• The airgun is ready to fire when “OFF SAFE”. When the safety is all the way back the airgun is “OFF SAFE” and can
be fired.

3. Installing and Removing the CO2 Cartridge

A. Installing the CO2 Cartridge

CO2 cartridges may explode at temperatures above 120°F (48.9°C). Do
not mutilate or incinerate them. Do not expose them to heat or store CO2 cartridges at
temperatures above 120°F (48.9°C).

• Put the airgun “ON SAFE” (see Section 2A).

• Make sure the airgun is UNLOADED and POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION.

• Holding the airgun as shown, slide the grip plate straight back to open (Fig. 3).

• Turn the piercing knob left until it is all the way down.

• Insert the new CO2 cartridge into the airgun with the small neck of the CO2 cartridge inserted first.

• Finger-tighten the cartridge piercing knob by turning it right.

• Slide the grip plate forward to close.

• To make sure the cartridge has been pierced, point the airgun in a SAFE DIRECTION, take “OFF
SAFE” (see Step 2B) and pull the trigger.

• If the airgun does not make a popping noise after pulling the trigger, the CO2 is not being
discharged. In that event put the airgun “ON SAFE” (Step 2A), open the grip plate, and
tighten a 1/4 turn and repeat the steps above.

NOTE: Do not use a wrench or other tool to tighten piercing knob as it may break or damage knob.
NOTE: We recommend the use of Crosman® Powerlet® CO2 cartridges. They are made to fit your airgun. Other brands of CO2
cartridges may not fit properly and if you force them into place it may result in injury to you or damage to your airgun. Never try to
force any CO2 cartridge into or out of place. Do not store your airgun with a CO2 cartridge in it. If you know you will not be using
your airgun for an extended period of time, empty the CO2 cartridge and remove it from the airgun (Step 4B). This is very important
to remember, as it will prolong the longevity of your airgun seals.

B. Removing the CO2 Cartridge

Keep hands away from escaping CO2 gas. It can cause frostbite
if allowed to come in contact with skin. Always make sure the CO2 cartridge is
empty before attempting to remove it from the airgun by slowly turning the knob
counter-clockwise all the way until you no longer hear the escape of CO2 gas.

5. Aiming and Firing Safely

• Always point your airgun in a SAFE DIRECTION.

• Follow the instructions for inserting CO

• You and others with you should always wear shooting glasses to protect your eyes.

(section 3A) and loading (section 4A).

• Do not shoot at hard surfaces or at the surface of water. The BB may bounce off or ricochet and hit someone or

something you had not intended to hit.

• Always choose your target carefully. For example, you may wish to shoot at paper bulls-eye targets that are attached

to a safe backstop such as the Crosman 850 Target Trap. A heavy blanket should be hung
behind the Target Trap to prevent ricochet should you miss the backstop.

• Your airgun is designed for target shooting and is suited for both indoor and outdoor use. Always

remember to place your target carefully. THINK about what you will hit if you miss the target.

• The airgun is correctly aimed when the front sight blade is positioned exactly in the center

of the notch of the rear sight. The top of the front sight blade should be even with the top of
the notch in the rear sight. The bulls-eye should appear to rest on the top of the front sight
(Fig. 5).

• When you are sure of your target and backstop, and the area around the target is clear,

take the airgun “OFF SAFE” (See Step 2B) and pull the trigger to fire.

6. Removing a Jammed BB

Follow the instructions for unloading BBs under section 4B. If you are not able to unjam your airgun by following the unloading pro­cedure, take no further action. An Authorized Service Station will unjam your airgun at no cost during the warranty period.

7. Maintaining Your Airgun

• Putting 1 drop of Crosman 0241 Pellgunoil

use petroleum distillate based oil or solvent and DO NOT over-oil as this can cause damage to your airgun.

changed, like a shorter or weaker trigger pull, this may mean worn out or broken parts. Call Crosman customer ser­vice for assistance before using your airgun again.

8. Reviewing Safety

• Never point the airgun at any person or at anything you do not intend to shoot.

• Always treat the airgun as though it is loaded and with the same respect you would a firearm.

• Always aim in a SAFE DIRECTION. Always keep the muzzle of the airgun pointed in a SAFE DIRECTION.

• Always keep the airgun ON SAFE until you are ready to shoot.

• Always check to see if the airgun is “ON SAFE” and unloaded when getting it from another person or from storage.

• Always keep your finger off the trigger and out of the trigger guard until ready to shoot.

• You and others with you should always wear shooting glasses to protect your eyes.

• If your reading or prescription glasses are not safety glasses, make sure you wear shooting glasses over your regular

glasses.

• Use .177 caliber (4.5 mm) BBs only. Never reuse ammunition.

• Do not shoot at hard surfaces or at the surface of water. The BB may bounce off or ricochet and hit someone or

something you had not intended to hit.

• Place the backstop in a location that will be safe should the backstop fail.

• Your backstop should be checked for wear before and after each use. All backstops are subject to wear and will even-

tually fail. Replace your backstop if the surface is worn or damaged or if a ricochet occurs.

• Do not attempt to disassemble or tamper with your airgun. Use an Authorized Service Station. Using unauthorized

repair centers or modifying the function of your airgun in any way may be unsafe and will void your warranty.

• Before you store your airgun, make sure that it is unloaded, not charged, and that the airgun is “ON SAFE.”

PERFORMANCE

Many factors affect velocity, including brand of projectile, type of projectile, amount of CO2 in cartridge, lubrication, barrel
condition and temperature.

REPAIR SERVICE

If your airgun needs repair, we recommend you take or send it to your nearest Crosman Authorized Service Station. DO
NOT ATTEMPT TO DISASSEMBLE IT! Your airgun requires special tools and fixtures to repair it. Any disassembly or
modification not performed by an Authorized Service Station will void the warranty.

A SPECIAL CUSTOMER SERVICE

Crosman Authorized Service Stations will unjam your airgun at no cost during the warranty period.

LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY

This product is warranted to the retail consumer for one year from date of retail purchase against defects in material and
workmanship and is transferable. To register the serial number of your airgun, please return the airgun registration form.
The warranty is not conditioned on the return of the card. You should retain the original sales receipt as record of date of pur­chase.

Transportation charges to Authorized Service Station for defective product. Damages caused by abuse, modification or failure

for list of stations). The service station will give you details of how to proceed with sending the item in for repair. You must
contact the station prior to shipping your product.

• Put the airgun “ON SAFE” (section 2A).

• Make sure the airgun is UNLOADED (section 4B) and pointed in a SAFE DIRECTION.

• Slide the grip plate straight back to open (fig. 3.).

• Use one hand to hold the airgun at the top of the receiver, being sure not to cover the muzzle.

• Loosen the cartridge piercing knob by slowly turning it left (see fig. 3) allowing any remaining gas to escape.

• Drop out the CO2 cartridge.

• Tighten the cartridge piercing knob enough so that the grip passes over it.

• Slide the grip plate forward to close.

4. Loading and Unloading BBs

A. Loading

• Make sure the airgun is “ON SAFE” (See Step 2A) and pointed in a SAFE DIRECTION.

• Remove the magazine by pressing on the magazine release button on the left side of the
gun (fig 1.)

• Pull and hold down the BB follower tab (fig. 4). Pull BB follower tab down until it locks

in place.

• Insert up to 18 BBs into the BB loading hole on the front of the magazine (Fig. 4).

• Release the BB follower tab.

• Insert the loaded clip into the air pistol.

• Your gun is now loaded and ready to fire, after reading the entire manual, including
section 8 on reviewing safety.

B. Unloading BBs

• Put the airgun “ON SAFE” (See Step 2A).

• Point the airgun in a SAFE DIRECTION.

• Remove the magazine by pressing on the magazine release button.

• Pull BB follower tab down until it locks in place.

• Tip the magazine until all the BBs fall out of the loading hole.

• If a BB is still visible in the top of the magazine, push the BB out of the magazine using a ramrod.

• Aim the airgun in a SAFE DIRECTION, take it “OFF SAFE” (See Step 2B) and fire.

• Repeat this procedure several times until you are sure you are no longer firing BBs.

5. Apuntar y disparar con seguridad

6. Extracción de una munición atorada

Para descargar las municiones, siga las instrucciones de la sección 4B. Si no puede desatascar la pistola de aire con el
procedimiento de descarga, no haga nada más. Una Estación de servicio autorizada desatascará su pistola de aire sin costo
durante el período de garantía.

7. Mantenimiento de la pistola de aire

• Poner una gota de aceite Crosman 0241 Pellgunoil® en la punta de cada cilindro de CO2 le ayudará a mantener su
pistola de aire. NO use aceites o solventes basados en destilados de petróleo y NO aceite en exceso, ya que esto
puede dañar la pistola de aire.

• NO MODIFIQUE NI ALTERE LA PISTOLA DE AIRE. Los intentos de modificar la pistola de aire de cualquier forma

8. Revisión de la seguridad

persona o al sacarla después de estar guardada.

• Mantenga siempre el dedo apartado del gatillo y fuera del guardamonte hasta que esté listo para disparar.

• Usted y las demás personas deben usar siempre anteojos de tiro para proteger sus ojos.

• Si sus lentes de lectura o para ver no son de seguridad, cuide de usar anteojos de tiro encima de sus lentes normales.

• Use solamente municiones de calibre .177 (4.5 mm). Nunca reutilice ningún diábolo o munición.

• No dispare a superficies duras o a la superficie del agua. La munición puede rebotar y golpear a alguien o algo que
usted no tenía intención de tocar.

• Coloque el respaldo en un lugar que sea seguro en caso de que falle el respaldo.

• Debe revisarse el desgaste del respaldo antes y después de cada uso. Todos los respaldos se desgastan y eventual­mente dejarán de servir. Reemplace el respaldo si la superficie está desgastada o dañada, o si rebota la munición.

• No intente desarmar la pistola de aire ni la manipule indebidamente. Use una Estación de servicio autorizada. El uso de
centros de reparaciones no autorizados o la modificación de las funciones de la pistola de aire en cualquier forma puede ser
inseguro y anulará la garantía.

2. Operación del seguro

A. Para poner el seguro de la pistola de aire en posición de activado (“ON SAFE”).

• Encuentre el seguro del lado derecho de la pistola de aire.

• Empuje el seguro totalmente hacia adelante hacia la “S” para activarlo (“ON SAFE”) (Fig. 2).
El seguro no está activado (“ON SAFE”) a menos que se haya empujado completamente hacia
adelante.

3. Instalación y extracción del cartucho de CO2

Los cartuchos de CO2 pueden estallar a temperaturas por enci­ma de los 48.9°C (120°F). No los mutile ni incinere. No los exponga al calor ni almacene
los cartuchos de CO2 a temperaturas por encima de los 48.9°C (120°F).

A. Instalación de un nuevo cartucho de CO

DIRECCIÓN SEGURA, desactive el seguro (“OFF SAFE”) (vea el Paso 2B) y tire del gatillo.

• Si la pistola de aire no hace un sonido similar a un taponazo después de oprimir el gatillo,
no se está descargando el CO2. En tal caso, active el seguro de la pistola de aire (“ON SAFE”) (Paso 2A), abra la
placa de la cacha apriete 1/4 de vuelta y repita los pasos arriba indicados.

Nota: No use llaves u otras herramientas para apretar la perilla perforadora, ya que puede romper o dañar ésta.
NOTA: Recomendamos el uso de cartuchos de CO2 Crosman® Powerlet®. Están fabricados para ajustarse a su pistola de aire. Es posible
que otras marcas de cartuchos de CO2 no se ajusten correctamente, y si los fuerza para colocarlos puede producirle lesiones o dañar la
pistola de aire. Nunca intente forzar un cartucho de CO2 para meterlo o sacarlo. No almacene la pistola de aire con un cartucho de CO2
en su interior. Si sabe que no va a usar la pistola de aire durante mucho tiempo, vacíe el cartucho de CO2 y extráigalo de la pistola de
aire (Paso 4B). Es muy importante que recuerde esto, ya que aumentará la vida útil de los sellos del arma de aire.

CÓMO HACER EFECTIVA LA GARANTÍA

VENTAS EN LOS EE.UU.: encuentre la estación de servicio más cercana (vea www.Crosman.com o llame a servicio al cliente de

Mantenga las manos alejadas del gas CO2 que escapa. Puede
causar congelación si se le permite que entre en contacto con la piel. Asegúrese siem­pre de que el cartucho de CO2 esté vacío antes de intentar extraerlo de la pistola de
aire, hágalo girando lentamente la perilla en sentido contrario al de las manecillas del reloj
completamente hasta que ya no escuche el escape de gas de CO2.

B. Extracción del cartucho de CO2

• Active el seguro de la pistola de aire (“ON SAFE”). (sección 2A).

• Asegúrese de que la pistola de aire esté DESCARGADA (sección 4B) y que esté apuntada en una DIRECCIÓN
SEGURA.

• Deslice la placa de la cacha directamente hacia atrás para abrirla (fig. 3.).

• Use una mano para sostener la pistola en la parte superior del receptor, cuidando de no tapar
la boca del cañón.

• Afloje la perilla perforadora del cartucho girándola lentamente a la izquierda (vea la fig. 3)
dejando que escape el gas que pudiera quedar.

• Deje caer el cartucho de CO2.

4. Carga y descarga de las municiones

A. Carga

• Cuide que esté activado el seguro de la pistola de aire (“ON SAFE”). (consulte el Paso
2A) y que esté apuntada en una DIRECCIÓN SEGURA.

• Quite el cargador oprimiendo el botón liberador del cargador que está del lado izquierdo de la pistola (fig.1).

• Tire hacia abajo de la lengüeta seguidora de municiones hasta que se bloquee en su sitio. (fig. 4).

• Inserte hasta 18 municiones en el orificio de carga de municiones que está en la parte delantera del cargador (Fig. 4).

• Libere la lengüeta seguidora de municiones.

• Introduzca el cargador lleno en la pistola de aire.

• Su pistola está ahora cargada y lista para disparar después de leer todo el manual, incluida la Sección 8 sobre la
revisión de seguridad.

B. Descarga de las municiones

• Active el seguro de la pistola de aire (“ON SAFE”) (consulte el Paso 2A).

• Apunte la pistola de aire en una DIRECCIÓN SEGURA.

• Quite el cargador oprimiendo el botón liberador del cargador.
