FCC Requirements

1. This equipment complies with 47CFRPart 68 and ACTA technical requirements.
On the bottom of this equipment is a label that contains, among other information,
the registration number and ringer equivalence number (REN) for this equipment.
If requested, this information must be provided to the telephone company.

2. The USOC number of the registration jack for the equipment is RJ11C/RJ11W.

3. A FCC compliant telephone cord and modular plug is provided with this equipment.
Thisequipment is designed to be connected to the telephone network or premises
wiring using a compatible modular jack which is TIA/EIA-IS-968 compliant. See
Installation Instructions details.

4. The REN is used to determined the quantity of devices which may be connected
to the telephone line. Excessive RENs on the telephone line may result in the
devices not ringing is response to an incoming call. In most, but not all areas,
the sum of RENs should not exceed five (5.0). To be certain of the number of
devices that may be connected to a line, as determined by the total RENs,
contact the local telephone company.

5. If this terminal equipment causes harm to the telephone network, the telephone
company will notify you in advance that temporary discontinuance of service
may be required. But if advance notice isn’t practical, the telephone company
will notify the customer as soon as possible. Also, you will be advised of your
right to file a compliant with the FCC if you believe it is necessary.

6. The telephone company may make changes in it’s facilities, equipment, operations
or procedures that could affect the operation of the equipment. If this happens
the telephone company will provide advance notice in order for you to make
necessary modifications to maintain uninterrupted services.

7. The equipment cannot be used on public coin phone service provided by the
telephone company. Connection to party line service is subject to state tariffs.

8. Please follow instructions for repairing if any (e.g. battery replacement section),
otherwise do not alternate or repair any parts of device except specified.

9. This equipment if it uses a telephone handset is hearing aid compatible.

10.If trouble is experienced with this equipment, for repair or warranty information,
please contact service center at the below. If the equipment is causing harm
to the telephone network, the telephone company may request that you disconnect
the equipment until the problem is resolved.

MODO DE DISCADO

El interruptor MODO DE DISCADO se encuentra en la parte inferior del teléfono. Deslice el interruptor a la posición
TONO a menos que tenga el servicio telefónico de discado por pulsos (rotativo) en su área. Si este es el caso,
deslice el interruptor a la posición PULSO.

CONTROL DE LA CAMPANILLA MECÁNICA

El interruptor CONTROL DEL TIMBRE, ubicado en la parte inferior
del teléfono, le permite cambiar el timbre de ENCENDIDO (ON) a
APAGADO (OFF). Podrá seguir realizando o recibiendo llamadas
con el timbre en posición APAGADO (OFF), pero no escuchará el
timbre cuando reciba una llamada.

VOLUMEN DEL AURICULAR

El interruptor CONTROL DEL VOLUMEN DEL AURICULAR, ubicado
en la parte inferior del teléfono, le permite ajustar el volumen del auricular
en BAJO (posición LO) y ALTO (posición HI).

INSTALACIÓN

Para conectar el teléfono, conecte el cable de línea de la parte
posterior del teléfono al conector de pared.

REALIZAR Y RECIBIR LLAMADAS

Para obtener un tono de discado o atender una llamada entrante,
levante el auricular. Para finalizar, vuelva a colgar el auricular o
presione manualmente el SOPORTE DEL AURICULAR.

FLASH

Al presionar FLASH se envía el equivalente electrónico de una señal
para conectar y cambiar. Utilice el botón FLASH con los servicios
especiales de la compañía telefónica, tales como la llamada en
espera.

SI NO HAY TONO DE DISCADO

1) Asegúrese de que todos los cables estén bien conectados. Verifique
las conexiones del conector de pared, la base del teléfono y el
auricular.

2) Pruebe otro conector modular de su casa que
sepa que funciona correctamente.

SI NO SE MARCAN LAS LLAMADAS
O SE MARCAN LENTAMENTE

Verifique que el interruptor MODO DE DISCADO esté en la
posición correcta para el tipo de servicio (TONO/PULSO)
disponible en su área.

SI EL TELÉFONO NO SUENA

Verifique que el interruptor CONTROL DEL TIMBRE no esté apagado
(posición OFF).
Si hay varios teléfonos conectados a la misma línea, intente
desconectar alguno de los otros teléfonos. Tener demasiados teléfonos
conectados a la misma línea puede hacer que el teléfono suene con
bajo volumen o que haya mala calidad de sonido durante las llamadas.

CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO

Evite dañar el teléfono. No deje caer el auricular y siempre colóquelo
suavemente en el soporte. Límpielo únicamente con un paño
ligeramente humedecido con agua. No utilice detergente, ceras,
solventes, aerosoles, alcohol ni demasiada agua.

AVISO IMPORTANTE DE SEGURIDAD

Cuando Usted utiliza su teléfono, hay que respetar las precauciones de seguridad de base afin
de reducir los riesgos de incendio, de choque eléctrico y daños a las personas, y ponga atención
especial a lo siguiente.

1. Léa y comprenda todas las instrucciones.

2. Hay que seguir todos los avisos y respetar todas las advertencias de seguridad impresos
en el aparato.

3. Desenchufe el aparato de la pared antes de limpiarlo. No utilice productos de limpieza
líquidos ó aerosoles. Utilice un trapo seco.

4. No coloque el aparato sobre un carro, soporte o mesa inestable, puesto que el aparato
corre el riesgo de caer y sufrir daño.

5. La caja y la parte de atrás ó el fondo del aparato llevan ranuras y aberturas para la ventilación,
para asegurar una operación fiable y para impedir que se sobrecaliente. No hay que tapar
ni cubrir estas aberturas. No hay que poner el aparato sobre una cama, un sofá, una alfombra
o cualquier otra superficie que pueda tapar estas aberturas. No hay que poner el aparato
en una repisa.

6. No introduzca jamás cualquier objeto por las ranuras ó las aberturas que pueda venir en
contacto con los puntos de voltaje ó hacer corto-circuito que puede causar un incendio ó
un choque eléctrico. No derrame jamás ningún líquido sobre el aparato.

7. Para reducir el riesgo de choque eléctrico, no tente desmontar este aparato usted mismo.
Confíe toda reparación al personal de servicio calificado. Al abrir la caja usted corre el riesgo
de venir en contacto con el voltaje ó con otros peligros. Un nuevo montaje incorrecto puede
causar un choque eléctrico a la próxima tentativa de uso.

8. Desenchufe el aparato de la pared y contacte al personal de servicio calificado en las
circunstancias siguientes:
A. Cuando el cordón de energía está dañado ó deshilado.
B. Cuando se ha derramado algún líquido ó un objecto alguno se ha caído al interior.
C. Cuando el aparato ha sido expuesto a la lluvia ó al agua.
D. Cuando el aparato no funciona normalmente con seguir las instrucciones

de uso. Toque solamente los mandos que son indicados en las instrucciones
de uso, puesto que con tocar los otros mandos usted puede causar daños y muchas
veces esto puede necesitar la intervención de un técnico calificado para poner el aparato

en marcha.
E. Cuando se ha dejado caer el aparato ó cuando la caja se ha dañado.
F. Cuando el aparato cambia abruptamente de funcionamiento.

9. No coloque nada sobre el cordón de energía. No coloque el aparato dónde corre el riesgo
que se pise el cordón de energía y se lastime.

10. No utilice este aparato en la proximidad del agua – por ejemplo, cerca de una tina, de un
fregadero, de un lavandero, en un sótano húmido ó cerca de una piscina

11. Evite de utilizar un teléfono (excepto un teléfono sin cordón) durante una tormenta eléctrica.
Puede presentarse el riesgo atenuado de choque eléctrico causado por los relámpagos.

12. No utilice un teléfono para reportar escape de gas en la proximidad del escape mismo.

13. Utilice solamente el cordón de energía y las baterías indicadas en este manual. No eche
jamás las bateríasen el fuego puesto que hay riesgo de explosión. Verifique los códigos
locales para informarse acerca del modo de disposición recomendada.

Crosley Radio, Inc. warrants the product to be free from defects in material and
workmanship under normal use for a period of one year from the original date of
purchase. This warranty is not transferable. If the product is determined to be defective
during the warranty period, the unit will be repaired or replaced at Crosley Radio’s sole
discretion. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and normal consumer use and
does NOT cover damage or failure as a result of abuse, accident, alterations, misuse,
neglect, abnormal wear and tear, inadequate maintenance, commercial or unreasonable
use, damage caused by power surges, mishandling, accident, acts of God or attempted
repair by an unauthorized service agent. Also not covered are cosmetic damages,
cords and antennas.

Should this product fail to function in a satisfactory manner, it is best to first contact
our technical support team for assistance to ensure it is being operated properly.

If it is indeed determined that the unit is no longer operational, please contact the
retailer from which it was purchased. In many cases, your retailer will be able to provide
a replacement unit at no charge within the scope of their return policy. If the retail return
period has expired, please contact Crosley Radio directly to participate in the one year
protection program.

You will need to contact our offices M-F 8am-5pm EST to obtain an RA (Return
Authorization) Number. You will be instructed to send the unit (at your cost) to our
offices in its original packaging (or reasonable substitute to prevent damage.) You will
need to clearly mark your RA number on the outside packaging and include the original
sales receipt (or a copy) indicating date of purchase, amount paid, and place of
purchase. You will also need to include your full name, shipping address and daytime
contact number. You will be instructed to include a check or money order for any
applicable return shipping and handling fees. A Crosley advisor will confirm the fees
associated with your product’s shipping size/weight. Returned products will not be
shipped to PO Boxes. Crosley Radio will not be responsible for delays or unprocessed
claims resulting from a purchaser’s failure to provide any or all of the necessary
information.

There are no express warranties except as listed above.
The purchaser’s bill of sale is the only proof of warranty entitlement.

This warranty gives the purchaser specified legal rights in addition to any rights which may vary
from state to state.

In accordance with the “Moss-Magnuson Warranty Act” of July 10, 1975, this is termed a “limited
warranty” which in no way compromises Crosley Radio’s high standards of quality and workmanship.
