Camera Transmitter

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

The SV-8100.W is a Wireless Transmitter that transmits a video signal from a camera to a
monitor without having to run any video cables from the front to the back of the vehicle. This is
perfect for the bigger trucks or SUVs that require a large amount of video cable run the length of
the vehicle. The SV-8100.W can be hooked up to any SecurView™ or PlateCam™ camera.

INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS:

1. Make sure to connect the SV-8100.W to the correct voltage. Failure to do so may result in
damage to the unit or any other components hooked up to it.

2. Do not hide the Transmitter or Receiver next to any thick metal plates or wire looms. This may
cause strong interference with the wireless signal.

3. Mount the Transmitter and Receiver in a way so there is minimal vibration. Excessive
vibration may cause interference.

WIRING:

1. Choose a convenient place to mount the Transmitter and Receiver for the unit. Behind the
trunk panels and under the dash board, are usually suitable locations.

2. Connect the Red wire on the Transmitter and Receiver to +12V Reverse Light, and the Black
wire of both units to Chassis Ground.

3. Connect the Yellow RCA video cable of the Transmitter to the RCA Video Output of your
camera.

4. Connect the Yellow RCA video cable of the Receiver to the RCA Video Input of your monitor.

5. The +12V power plug on the Transmitter and receiver can be used to plug in Power and
Ground for your camera and monitor. NOTE: Some cameras and monitors will not have this
type of plug for +12V and Ground. In this case you can simply hardwire +12V and Ground for
your camera and monitor and disregard this plug.

NOTE: Make sure all RCA cables and Power Plugs are secured tightly and wrapped in Electrical

Tape to prevent short circuits.
