Industry Canada (IC) Compliance Statement
Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
1. This devi ce may not cause int erferen ce, and
2. This devi ce must accept an y in terferen ce, including int er ference tha t may ca use undesir ed operation of th e
device.
To sat i s f y RF exposure requirement s, th is device and its ant en na must operate with a separation di stance of at least
20 centimeters from all person s and must not be collocated or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or
transmitter.
Le fonctionnement est soumis
All brand names, product nam es and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
utilizes the 2. 4 G Hz freq uency ban d to communi cate with other devices .
The mod u le operates according to th e IEE E 8 02.15.4 sp ecificat ion and can be con figured to minim ize
the possibility of interference with other devices.
The mod u le receives RF si g nals from one or more Crestron devices and can tr ansmit these signals over
the air for further processing (depending on the application).

Specifications of the CWD7545
1. The location and orientation of the module are important factors in the RF performance. With the unit located outside of
any metal enclosures, the antenna is adjusted to achieve the best ran ge. The range is dependent on its placement and the
building in which it is used. The construction of the building, obstructions, and RF interference from other devices are
factors determining t he effective range of the u nit. To prevent unit-to-unit RF interference, multiple modules operating
at the sa m e fr e qu e ncies s hou ld not b e instal le d w ithin 3 -5 feet of ea c h other.
Physical Description
The modu le, shown be low, c onsists of var ious c omponents atta ched t o a prin ted ci rcu i t board.
An edge connector provides p o wer to th e modu le as well a s serial communication s between th e
module and wired devices. Refer to the followin g table for pin assignments of th e module interface
connector.
Refer t o the / I-O Pinout Signals table which shows the connections made to the module.NOTE: To pr eve nt unit -to-unit RF int er ference, multiple modules operating at the same frequ en cies
shoul d not be installed with in th ree to five fe et of each other.
Labeling
If the FCC identification number is not visible when the module is installed inside another device, then
the outside of the device into which the module is installed must also display a label referring to the
enclosed module. This exterior label can use wording such as the following: “Contains Transmitter
Module FCC ID: E ROCWD7545” or “Cont a ins FCC ID: EROCWD7545. ” Any similar wordin g that
expr ess es the same meanin g ma y be used.
Documentation
The OEM in tegr a tor has to be aware not to pr ovide information to th e e nd us er rega rdi ng how to in s t all
or remove this RF module in the user’s manual of the end product.
The user’s manual for OEM integrators must include the following information in a prominent location
“IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with FCC RF exposure compliance
requirements, the antenna used for this tran smitter must be in stalled to provide a
separation distance of at least 20 cm from all per sons and must not be co-located
or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.”
