DO Determine the Address of the Device
The DMPS3-4K-200-C and DMPS3-4K-300-C can be addressed using the hostname of the device. The default hostname is DMPS3-xxxxxxxx, where
xxxxxxxx consists of the last eight characters (excluding punctuation) of the MAC address. For example, if the MAC address is 00:10:7F:08:09:AA:05, the
default host name is DMPS3-0809AA05. The MAC address is labeled on the rear panel of the device.
Alternatively, the DMPS3-4K-200-C and DMPS3-4K-300-C can be addressed using the IP address of the device. By default, DHCP is enabled. To set a
static IP address, use any of the following:
• The Crestron Toolbox™ application on a PC that connects to the device via the Ethernet network
NOTE: The Device Discovery Tool can be used to nd the current IP address.
• A USB connection to the COMPUTER port on the front panel of the device
• The front panel LCD display menu

DO Commission the System
Using the web interface, congure the device. To access the web interface, open a web browser and enter either of the following:
hostname/setup (hostname is the hostname of the device)
or
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/setup (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP address of the device)
The DMPS3-4K-200-C and DMPS3-4K-300-C also provide the built-in DMPS .AV Framework™ Base Program that enables complete system control
without requiring additional programming. For complete details about the capabilities supported by the .AV Framework Base Program, go to www.
crestron.com/avframework.
DO Route the Inputs
To route an input to one or more outputs, use the web interface or the front panel push button controls.
To route the inputs using the front panel push button controls, do the following:
1. Press the ROUTE push putton.
2. Press the INPUT push button that corresponds to the input to be routed.
3. Press the desired OUTPUT push buttons to which the input is to be routed.
4. Press the ENTER push button.
As of the date of manufactu re, the product has bee n tested and found to comply with specications for CE ma rking.
Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Compliance Statement
This device com plies with par t 15 of the FCC Ru les. Operation is sub ject to the follow ing two conditions:
(1) This devic e may not cause harmful interferenc e, and (2) th is device must accept any inter ference rec eived, i ncluding interference that may cau se unde sired opera tion.
CAUTION: Changes or modication s not expressly approved by the ma nufacturer respon sible for compliance could void the user’s autho rity to operate the equipment.
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a C lass B di gital d evice, p ursuant to par t 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protectio n
agains t harmful interference in a reside ntial installation. This equipme nt gene rates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energ y and, if not installed and used i n accordance with the instructions, may
cause harmful inter feren ce to radio communications. H owever, there is no guarantee that inte rference will not occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment does c ause ha rmful inter ference to radi o or television reception, whi ch can be determ ined by tu rning the equipment off and on, the use r is encouraged to try to corre ct the in terferenc e
by one or more of the following m easures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and rece iver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circui t different from that to which the recei ver is connected.
• Consult the dea ler or an experience d radio/T V technician fo r help.
Industry Canada (IC) Compliance Statement
CAN ICES-3(B)/NMB-3(B)
* The DM INPUT and DM OUTPUT ports are PoDM+ PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) ports and are HDBaseT PoE+ compatible. The CONTROL SUBNET port is a PoE PSE port.
Enabling PoDM+, HDBaseT PoE+, and PoE power sourcing requires connection of the PODM+ INPUT PWR port to an external Crestron power supply (PW-4830DUS or
DM-PSU-3X8-RPS). Any wiring that is connected to a PoDM+, HDBaseT PoE+, or PoE PSE por t is for intrabuilding use only and should not be connected to a line that runs outside of
the building in which the PSE is located.

Rack Mounting Safety Precautions
• Elevated Operating Ambient Temperature: If installed in a closed or multi-unit rack assembly, the operating ambient temperature of the rack environment may be greater than room ambient temperature. Therefore, consideration should be
given to ins talling t he equipment in an e nvironm ent comp atible wi th the maximum amb ient temperatur e (Tma) specied by th e manufac turer.
• Re duced Airow: I nstall ation of th e equipm ent in a rack s hould be such that th e amount of airow r equired for safe op eration of the equi pment is not compr omised .
• Mechanical Loading: Mounting of the equipment in the rack should be such that a hazardous condition is not achieved due to uneven mechanical loading.
• Circuit Overloading: Consideration should be given to the connection of the equipment to the supply circuit and the effect that overloading of the circuits might have on overcurrent protection and supply wiring. Appropriate consideration
of equipm ent nameplate rat ings should be use d when add ressing this con cern.
• Re liable Earthin g: Reliable ear thing of ra ck-mounte d equipment shou ld be main tained . Partic ular attention s hould be gi ven to supply conne ctions other than d irect co nnections to the br anch circuit (e.g., us e of power strips).
