Description

The ANT-EXT-5 and ANT-EXT-10 are antenna extenders
that can be used with Crestron
Prodigy® Media Controller, CEN-RFGW-EX infiNET EX™
Gateway, CEN-HPRFGW High Powered RF Gateway or with
a CEN-WAP Wireless Access Point (all sold separately).

The ANT-EXT-5 provides a 5 foot (1.5 meter) cable and the
ANT-EXT-10 provides a 10 foot (3 meter) cable.

Setup

Complete the following steps to properly set up and connect
the antenna extender.

1. Remove the protective dust cover from the
connector at the top of the ANT-EXT-5 or
ANT-EXT-10.

2. Attach the connector at the end of the cable to the
antenna connector on the device.

3. Attach the device’s antenna to the connector at the
top of the ANT-EXT-5 or ANT-EXT-10.

Guide (Doc. 6689), which is available from the Crestron
website, www.crestron.com/manuals.

Return and Warranty Policies

Merchandise Returns / Repair Service

1. No merchandi se may be returned for credit ex change or service w ithout prior
authorizat ion from C RESTRON . To obtain warranty servic e for CREST RON produc ts,
contac t an authoriz ed CRESTR ON dealer . Only authori zed CR ESTRON dealers may
contac t the f actory and request an R MA (Ret urn Merchandise Authoriz ation ) number.
Enclos e a note specify ing the nature of the problem, name and phone number of
contac t pers on, RMA num ber and return address.

2. Products may be returned for credit , exchange or servic e with a CRE STRON Ret urn
Merchandis e Authoriz ation (R MA) number. Authorized ret urns mus t be shipped f rei ght
prepaid to CR ESTRON, 6 Volvo Drive, Rockleigh, N. J. or its authorized s ubsidiaries,
with R MA number clearly m ark ed on the outside of all c artons. Shipment s arriving
freight c ollect or w ithout an RMA num ber shall be s ubject t o refusal. CRE STRON
reserves the right in i ts s ole and absolute disc retion to c harge a 15% restock ing fee
plus shi pping cos ts on any products returned wit h an RMA.

3. Return f reight charges follow ing repair of items under w arranty s hall be paid by
CRE STRON, shipping by s tandard ground carrier. In the ev ent repairs are f ound to be
non- warranty , return freight cost s shall be paid by t he purchaser.

CRESTRON Limited Warranty

CRE STRON ELE CTR ONIC S, Inc. warrant s its products to be free from manufac turing defects
in material s and work manship under normal use for a period of three (3) years from t he date of
purchase f rom CR ESTR ON, with t he follow ing exceptions : disk drives and any other moving or
rotating mec hanical parts , pan/t ilt heads and power suppli es are cov ered f or a period of one
(1) year ; t ouchsc reen display and overlay components are covered for 90 days ; bat teries and
incandesc ent lamps are not cov ered .

This w arrant y ext ends to produc ts purc hased direct ly from CR ESTR ON or an authorized
CRE STRON dealer . Purchasers should inquire of the dealer regarding t he nature and extent
of the dealer 's warrant y, if any.

CRE STRON shal l not be liable t o honor the terms of thi s warrant y if t he product has been
used in any appl icati on other than that for which it w as intended or if it has been subjec ted to
misus e, acc idental damage , modification or i mproper instal lation procedures. Furthermore, this
warranty does not c over any produc t that has had the s erial number altered , defaced or
removed .

This w arrant y shal l be the sol e and exclus ive remedy to the ori ginal purchas er. In no ev ent
shall C RESTRON be liable for incidental or consequent ial damages of any kind (property or
economic damages inclusiv e) aris ing from the sale or use of this equipment . CR ESTRON i s
not liable f or any claim made by a thi rd party or made by the purchaser for a third part y.

CRE STRON shal l, at its option, repair or replace any product found defect ive, without charge
for parts or l abor. Repaired or replaced equipment and part s supplied under this w arranty shall
be covered only by the unexpired portion of the warrant y .

Exc ept as ex pressly set forth in thi s warranty, CR ESTRON mak es no other warranties ,
express ed or implied , nor authorizes any other part y to off er any warranty, i ncluding any
implied w arrant ies of m erc hantability or fi tness for a partic ular purpose. Any i mplied warrant ies
that may be imposed by law are li mited to the terms of this limi ted warranty . Thi s warranty
stat ement supers edes all previous w arranties .
