Product Information
The hand-held N-Coder is an economical, easy to use programmer, capable of configuring Crest Input Processing NC Modules.
It is designed for use when an NC-NXS NexSys®network module
is not installed in the CK family power amplifier.
When plugged into an Input Processor Module, N-Coder automatically identifies the module type and displays only the parameters available for that module. The user can then adjust parameters, audition the results, then store the new settings in the
module’s non-volatile memory. Settings can also be stored inside
N-Coder for later reference.
A module does not need to be powered, or even be installed in the
amplifier for programming; N-Coder provides the necessary
power. Processing parameters can also be created ahead of time
without any modules attached, stored in the N-Coder, then downloaded into the modules later.
N-CODER
Control
Every Crest Input Processing Module can be programmed from a
hand-held N-Coder except for DSP modules. DSP, with its extensive processing options, requires N-Coder/PC or LCP-AC8 (Octopus) software.
The N-Coder can be powered from a common 9VDC battery or
the supplied 12VDC wall adapter. It communicates with Input
Processing Modules using an RJ-14 cord (supplied).
