FCV220 / FCV440
POWER AMPLIFIERS
Product Description
Designed with the sound contractor in mind, Crest Audio’s Models FCV220 and FCV440 are high-quality amplifiers intended for fixed installations using constant-voltage distributed lines. These cost-effective two rack-space amplifiers make excellent sonic quality and long-term reliability available to even the most price- conscious installations.
The FCV Series amplifiers use the same high-grade components employed in the Crest Audio Professional Series amplifiers and are fan-cooled. An internal mid-chassis fan draws cooling air from the front of the amplifier and exhausts it out the sides. High quality, fully-isolated output transformers are used, providing maximum amplifier protection and freedom from output-related ground loops. Either transformer can be bypassed for driving a speaker directly.
The FCV Series amplifiers are fully compatible in design with other Crest Audio amplifiers, Octal Socket Accessories and the NexSys®computer-controlled audio system.
The FCV chassis is made of heavy 12-gauge steel for rigidity. Attenuator controls, barrier strip outputs, Octal Sockets, and actively balanced inputs are located on the rear panel.
Front panel features include Clip and Status LED indicators and a combined circuit breaker/AC power switch.
As always, Crest Audio performance and reliability come standard.
