QUICK START GUIDE FOR CRE57004S BASE STATION SET
This quick start guide manual shows you how to program the Base Station
Transmitter and Receiver. The transmitter need three AA batteries which is not
included the Base Station Set. To Link the transmitter and receiver turn 'ON' the
power on the Transmitter and Receiver.

Press the MENU button on the transmitter and select '1. ASSIGN FUNCTIONS'. To
select this function press STOP/ENTER button on the transmitter.

Under '1.ASSIGN FUNCTION' choose your 'LINK /BIND ADDRESS (49)'. It's
recommended to start with (00) as your first link address. To quickly get to link
address (00) press the 'STOP/ENTER' BUTTON. Press the bottom arrow to select
Rx-Type then press the right arrow to select 'BASE RX'

Press the 'bottom arrow' and scroll down to the 'LINKING'.

Press the Red Push button cord on the receiver or you can press the Red button
directly at the corner of the receiver and the Blue LED on the receiver will flash
brightly indicating the linking process has started. Release the button as soon as
the Blue light starts to flash. Press the Stop/Enter button on the transmitter and
the transmitter should indicate linking Passed.

Press the MENU button once and scroll down to '3. ADD MU/SU CAB'. Press the
STOP/ENTER button to select this function. Press the Left or Right arrow to select
the cab number 'CAB NO: CAB -0' to operate the locomotive/ layout. You can
change the cab number to any open numbers you wish.
Scroll down to 'SU [49]', press the STOP/ENTER button and the Link address
number will change to [00].

The linking process is finished press the Menu button twice to get back to the
main screen. At the bottom of the main screen it should show up 'LINK OK'.
Note a cooling fan is recommended for this unit CRE55499

To operate the locomotive on your layout press the Fast button on the transmitter
and your locomotive will starts to move.
Note: A default (49) will show on the Link / Bind address also SU. To change the
numbers to '00' press the Stop/Enter button to bring the number down to the
(00) designation. It's recommended to start your layout/ locomotive by choosing
your CAB -0 and Link Address 00. Refer to the manual on the CD for more info.
If the Transmitter shows an overload or overheat signal on the LCD, make sure
there are no shots the track or locomotive. When all is cleared press the “0 all
stop” button to reset this function.
When the RED button is pressed and solid blue light is on the receiver turn off the
power on the power supply and turn it back on to reset the linking process.
