Inserting SIM card and batteryContent
Open the lid on the back.
Slip the SIM card into the designated fixture, with the golden chip facing downwards,
as shown below.
Slip the upper end of the battery into the fixture, with the marking - - + facing downwards.
Press the lower end of the battery into the fixture.
Put the lid back on.
Removing SIM card and battery
Open the lid on the back.
Remove the battery by pulling it on the lower edge.

Emergency call key
Pressing this key for about
3 seconds automatically
triggers an emergency call.
Settings
Choose different settings with the up/ down key as described. By pressing the “OK” key, you enter the respective submenus, which you may also enter with “OK” or exit with “Exit”.

Multifunctional key RSK (right)
The multifunctional keys lead you to the phonebook (left, LSK) and the SMS menu (right, RSK). They also allow you to confirm or cancel various settings or functions.
On/ off key / exit
Press this key to switch the device on or off (3 sec), to reject or end a call or to cancel an action.
Change characters
Choose between small and capital letters and numbers (Abc, ABC, abc, 123).
up/ down key
This key allows you to navigate through
the menu and to adjust the volume
during a call.

FIRST STEPS FIRST STEPS
On/ off key / Exit (red key)
Press this key to turn your device on or off (3 sec.), to reject or end a call or to cancel an action, as well as to exit the menu you are in.
Call/OK key (green key)
Press this key to make or answer a call, as well as to confirm settings.
Multifunctional keys LSK/ RSK
The multifunctional keys lead you to the phonebook (left) and the SMS menu (right, RSK). They also allow you to confirm or cancel various settings or functions.
Keys 0 – 9
Keys 0 – 9 may be programmed as speed dial keys. If done so, you can dial previously saved numbers by pressing the corresponding key for about 2 seconds You can also write text mes­sages by repeatedly pressing the same key to cycle through the letters mapped to that key.
Emergency call key
Pressing this key for about 3 seconds automatically triggers an emergency call.
The emergency call goes to a previously defined number or an emergency call centre,
e.g. the Red Cross.
Simultaneously, a text message containing the coordinates of the location is sent to the
second previously defined number.

General
Time and date: Setting time, setting date, automatic setting
Font size: Small 14 dpi, medium 16 dpi, large 20 dpi, extra large 24 dpi
Language: Automatic, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese
Edit contacts: activate/deactivate
Audio
There is a different audio signal for every event (SMS, low battery, no network).
Profiles: normal (vibration + ring tone + keypad tone), mute (vibration only, shown by
“Mute” symbol on display)
Ring tone: type (ring tones 1 – 4), volume (level 1 – 8)
Keypad tone: volume (level 1 – 8)
HandsFree: on/off
SIM settings
Service Centre: number
PIN Code: activate/deactivate PIN code entry
Special
Choose network: choose automatically/manually
Lock keypad: on/off
