Intended use

The wood burning iron is intended exclusively for private, non­commercial use in dry interior areas. It serves as an appliance
for marking and inscribing wood, leather and cork by means of
heated metal stamps or heated tips. Any other use is not permitted
and can lead to injuries. In these cases, the manufacturer carries
no liability

Safety instructions

 CAUTION! When not in use, this tool must be placed on its

stand.

 This appliance can be used by children from 8 years on as

well as by persons with restricted physical, sensory or
intellectual abilities or lacking experience and knowledge if
they are supervised or if they received instructions on how
to use the appliance and they understand the consequential
hazards. Children are not allowed to play with the appliance.
Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children
without supervision.

 In order to avoid hazards, if the mains connection of this

appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer
or his customer service or a similarly qualified person.

 Do not apply strong pressure to the tip during use. The fine

tips can bend under pressure.
 A fire can break out if the appliance is not handled carefully.
 Ensure that the connecting cable does not come into contact

with heat, oil or sharp edges. Damaged connecting cables

can cause fires, short-circuits and electric shocks.
 Before use, remove combustible objects, liquids and gases

from the working area of the appliance. Keep your working

area clean in order to prevent accidents.
 Before use, check that the tool tip is correctly attached to the

appliance. The hot tips and their receptacles must not be

brought into contact with skin, hair, etc. Risk of burns.
 After use, place the appliance on the stand and allow it to

cool down before packing away.
 As long as it is in use, do not leave the appliance unsupervised.
 When the appliance is not in use, store it in a safe place

protected from dust and moisture.
 Check the appliance for damage. Do not use if damaged!
 During use, ensure adequate ventilation. Ensure that no

poisonous gases or vapours can be inhaled. Wear protective

clothing.
 For longer work interruptions, disconnect the appliance from

the voltage source.
 Observe national and international safety, health and work

protection regulations.

Cleaning and maintenance

Only clean the appliance with a dry cloth when the appliance
has cooled down.
Dirt on the tips can be scrubbed off using sandpaper or the like.

Warranty

You are granted a 2-year warranty for this device as of the date
of purchase. The warranty period starts on the date of purchase.
Please keep the original sales receipt for further reference. The
receipt will be required as a proof of purchase. If a material or
manufacturing defect appears within 2 years as of the date of
purchase of this product, CFH will, at its discretion, repair or
replace this product free of charge. This warranty will only be
granted if the defective device and the proof of purchase (sales
receipt) are presented within 2 years along with a short written
description stating the character of the defect and date when it
appeared. After the defect has been resolved through our
warranty, you will get the repaired or the new product back. In
case of a warranty claim, please contact us by e-mail under
[e-mail]. We will get in touch with you immediately.

Disposal

The crossed through dustbin on this product indicates that at the
end of its service life the appliance has to be disposed of
separately and not together with household waste. Bring all
electrical or electronic appliances to the established municipal
collecting points in your community.
For disposal information and the location of the nearest recycling
station, contact the Office for Municipal Sanitation or consult the
Yellow Pages.
