INTRODUCTION

CLS’s brand new REVO Compact product line belongs to a revolutionary flexible new IP67 range of products
that can be used for an enormous amount of applications. The REVO is designed in The Netherlands by a
team of architectural specialists.

SAFETY INFORMATION
Warning! This product is for professional use only, not for domestic use.
Read this manual before powering up or installing the CLS REVO Compact. Follow the instructions
listed below and observe all warnings in this manual.

Protection from electric shock

• Disconnect the power supply from AC power before installing, dismounting or maintaining the unit.

• Make sure all connectors are connected properly.

• Use only a source of AC power that complies with local building and electrical codes and has both
overload and ground-fault protection.

• Refer all service to a qualified technician.

Protection from burns and fire

• Provide a clearance of at least 50mm around the unit.

• Do not install this product near a heat source.

• Do not install this product in a corrosive, flammable or explosive area.

• Do not modify this product, or install other than genuine parts.

• Do not operate this product if the ambient temperature exceeds 40 ºC.

• Do not stare into the LED, this can cause damage to the eyes.

Protection from injury due to falls

• Verify that all covers and mounting hardware are securely fastened.

• Block the access below the work area whenever installing or removing the unit.

INSTALLATION REVO COMPACT BASIC

1. The CLS REVO Compact Basic can be installed by using the mounting hole. Drill a hole to secure it in the wall,
floor, ceiling, etc. Drill a second hole for the power wire if the cable connection is indoors.
For all situations where a OUTDOOR connection needs to be made to extend the cable of the REVO.

WARNING

ALWAYS USE THE CLS MOLD SET. OTHERWISE THERE WILL BE
NO WARRANTY ON WATER OR MOISTURE RELATED PROBLEMS!

INSTALLATION REVO COMPACT RETAIL

Skip step 2 and 3 if the cable connection is indoors.

2. Use the mold set to make the connection waterproof. Place the cable connection in the bottom of the mold set.
a. Press the cover on the bottom of the mold set.
b. Poor the substance through the hole of the cover. Make sure you completely fill the mold set.

3. Seal the mold set by placing the lid on top of the mold set.

4. Adjust the REVO Compact Basic to the preferred position by turning the unit towards or away from the wall.

5. Put the power wire in the earth socket.

6. The CLS REVO Compact Basic is ready to use.

INSTALLATION REVO COMPACT RETAIL

When your CLS REVO Compact Retail is delivered with an assembled adapter, start with step 7.

1. Take the CLS Revo Compact Retail and cut the cable to its correct length.

ATTENTION!

Make sure that the rubber sealing is correctly in place!

WARNING

2. Strip the powercable and the brown, blue and yellow/green wires.

3. Screw the front off the multi adapter and take the nipple out.

4a. Tread the powercable through the nut and ring.
b. Pass the cable through the mounting hole of the bracket.
c. Shove the nipple over the cable till the mounting hole.

5. Connect the coloured wires to the Live, Neutral and Earth connectors. Wire (EU) Function Marking
Brown Live L
Blue Neutral N
Yellow/green Earth

6. Tighten the nut on the nipple and screw the front back on the multi adapter.

7a. Place the CLS REVO Compact Retail with adapter in the mounted rail.
b. Secure the CLS REVO Compact Retail by sliding the lever sideways. To remove the CLS REVO Compact Retail
always put the switch on "off" and pull the lever back.
c. Select the desired phase (1, 2, 3).

8. Place the connection box on one side of the rail.

9. Connect the end piece on the other side of the rail so the circuit is closed.

10. Put the power wire in the earth socket.

11. The CLS REVO Compact Retail is now ready to use.

REPLACE LENSES

This section shows how to replace the lenses inside the CLS REVO Compact.

1. The CLS REVO Compact.

2. Disassemble the cover plate by loosening the 4 screws.

3. Carefully lift the items out of the CLS REVO Compact unit and take the lens holder.

4. Press the 4 lenses out of the lens holder and replace them with the desired lenses. Make sure all the lenses are
in the same direction as shown in picture 6.

5. Now carefully place the items in the CLS REVO Compact unit in the right order as shown in picture 3.

6. Tighten the screws by order (crosswise) as shown in picture 6 on the cover plate to keep the REVO waterproof.
The CLS REVO Compact is ready to be used with the desired lenses.
