The Creative T4 wireless cannot be powered ON. What should I do?

Make sure that the AC cord is firmly connected to the unit and that the power outlet is turned on.

●

Check all connections, make sure the audio control pad is firmly attached to subwoofer.

There’s no Bluetooth link between my device and the Creative T4 wireless. What should I do?

- Delete the Creative T4 wireless name entry from your

Bluetooth

device paired memory list and perform the steps

in Quick Start Guide (Section C

) to re-pair your device with Creative T4 wireless

- Position them within 1 meter or closer to each other if you experience pairing difficulties

- Ensure that both your

I am unable to pair to my Bluetooth NFC enabled device

●

Ensure that NFC is turned on for your device. For information on how to turn on NFC, please consult the
documentation found on your NFC enabled device.

●

Ensure that both your NFC enabled device is not connected to any other Bluetooth devices and that the
Creative T4 wireless is not connected to two Bluetooth devices and try again.

Note: The Creative T4 wireless can connect to a maximum of 2 stereo Bluetooth devices at any given time and

will reject the 3rd device connecting via NFC until one Bluetooth device is disconnected.

●

If you are encountering NFC pairing issues with only one Bluetooth device connected, please pause the music
before attempting to tap another NFC device to connect.

●

Update your NFC enabled Bluetooth device firmware and try the above 2 steps again.

Bluetooth link is established either by NFC or Manual pairing between the devices but
there’s no music. What should I do?

●

If the device you have paired is the 2nd device connected to the speaker, with the 1st device

currently streaming music, you would need to stop playing music on the 1st device to allow
music streaming on the 2nd device.

Why is my speaker unable to power off automatically after 15mins of inactivity?

●

Please ensure that there are no optical (light) signal, no Bluetooth devices connected to the

speaker and that the aux-in has no audio signal on it.

What do I do if I find that the speaker is not behaving the way it should?

●

Should any of the above happens, we would recommend that you return the speaker to default

settings by performing a master reset. Press and Hold the power button when the speaker is
off. Speaker will be in Bluetooth pairing mode, waiting for device to connect.

Why does my speaker enter standby (power saving) mode when i am still playing
music using aux-in after more than 15 minutes?

In keeping with EuP regulations, your Creative speaker will go into Standby mode if it
doesn’t detect audio input on the aux-in after a specific amount of time. This speaker
uses a fixed threshold input level to enable auto power management feature. This means if you
greatly lower the volume on your mp3 player or smart device, your speaker might interpret this as
silence and go into Standby mode. This is by no means a product defect but a design intent in
keeping with EuP regulations.

To avoid this from happening, turn up the volume on your connected mp3 player or smart
device as high as it can go without distortion setting in, and use the volume controls on
your Creative speaker to determine how loud (or soft) you want your audio.

This does not apply to Bluetooth wireless connections.
