Crate & Barrel Span Gateleg Table Assembly Instruction

CAUTION:
(1) Exercise care when opening and closing the
gateleg leaves.
(2) This table will tip when weight in excess of
50 lbs is placed near the edge. Please heed this
tipping warning and do not place objects more
than 50 lbs near the edge or at the corners of
the table.
(3) Under no circumstances should a customer
lean on or sit on this table.

This page lists all the contents included in the box.
Please take time to identify the hardware as well as the
individual components of this product. As you
unpack, place the contents on a carpeted or padded
area to protect them from damage.

Note: 2 people are required to safely lift and move this table.
1 person can safely extend the leaves on this product.

CLEANING AND CARE

Clean surfaces with a dry or damp soft cloth. Do not
use abrasive cleaners. Do not use furniture wax or
polish as the wood is finished with a protective clear
lacquer. It is recommended to use coasters to protect
against heat and water.

2 A) Locate extension leaves on each side of
table. Carefully lift 1 extension leaf 90º as
shown. NOTE: Make sure to grab the leaf
near the bottom with both hands.
B) Locate locking mechanism on leg frame and
release pin. Pull out leg frame 90º as shown.
Fit pin into corresponding hole underneath leaf
and lock into place.

NOTE: Make sure pin
is securely set into leaf
and locked into place

3 If desired, repeat steps for remaining
leaf.
Leaf extension is now complete.

NOTE: When lowering the leaves,
make sure to grab near the edges
with both hands.
