Thank you for purchasing the Brey File. This page lists
all the contents included in the box. Please take time to
identify the hardware as well as the individual components of this product. As you unpack and prepare for
assembly, place the contents on a carpeted or padded
area to protect them from damage.
Note: 2 people are required to safely assemble this product.

1 Fit dowels of back/front crossbars and top panel
into corresponding holes of right side frame as shown.
Secure back/front crossbars and top panel with 1 large
bolt, 1 spring washer and 1 flat washer as shown,
using an phillips head screwdriver. Do not over tighten
the bolts.

2 Fit shelf into assembly unit as shown. Secure shelf to
right side frame with 2 large bolts, 2 spring washers
and 2 flat washers as shown, using a screwdriver.

3 A) Fit dowels of back/front crossbars and top panel
into corresponding holes of left side frame as shown.
Secure back/front crossbars and top panel with 1 large
bolt, 1 spring washer and 1 flat washer.
B) Secure shelf to left side frame with 2 large bolts, 2
spring washers and 2 flat washers.

4 A) Attach back panel cover to back panel with 1 small
bolt and 1 threaded bolt cap as shown, using a screw-
driver.
B) With the assistance of another adult, position assembled
unit upright. Attach 1 back panel with 15 small screws as
shown, using a phillips head screwdriver. Do not over
tighten the screws.

5 A) Attach 1 pull to small drawer front with 2 pull bolts
as shown, using a screwdriver.
B) Fit dowels of small drawer front and back into
corresponding holes of right small drawer side. Secure
right small drawer side with 4 large screws as shown,
using a screwdriver.

11 For standard hanging files, insert file rails into
corresponding slots of large drawer assembly as shown.
Make sure the back rail is inserted into the inner slots. Fit
file hooks over each file rail.

For legal hanging files, insert file rails into
corresponding slots of large drawer assembly as shown.
Make sure the back rail is inserted into the outer slots.
Fit file hooks over each file rail.

12 Fully extend drawer glides from file assembly. Fit
drawer glides of small and large drawer assembly into
corresponding drawer glides of file assembly as
shown. Push each drawer assembly forward and
listen for a click to ensure that assembly is secure.

13 A) Adhere 4 bumpers to assembly as shown.
B) Place glass top into assembled unit as shown. Make sure
glass top is fully supported by left/right leg frames and top
panel.
CLEANING & CARE
Clean surfaces with a dry or damp soft cloth. Do
not use abrasive cleaners. Do not use furniture
wax or polish as the unit is finished with a protective clear lacquer. Clean glass with glass cleaner
and lint free cloth.
Assembly is now complete.
