Thank you for purchasing the Ascend Wide Stacking Shelves. This page lists all the contents included in the
box. Please take time to identify the hardware as well as the individual components of this product. As you unpack and prepare for assembly, place the contents on a carpeted or padded area to protect them from damage. Note: 2 people are required to safely stack and secure these units.

TOOLS REQUIRED
Phillips Head Screwdriver
Drill with 1/4” diameter drill bit
Hammer
1 With the assistance of another adult, stack shelving units as shown, with pilot holes on each shelf at the back. Note: Do not stack over 5 units high. Align 1 mending plate with each set of pilot holes and attach with 4 short screws per plate. Secure, but do not over tighten each screw with a phillips head screwdriver.

2 Attach 2 strap brackets to back of the top shelving unit with 2 short screws. Secure with a phillips head screwdriver.
WALL MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
These instructions are for drywall mounting only.
For safe installation it is essential to use hardware appropriate for your wall type. Mount to wood wall studs whenever possible. If you are unsure of what type of fasteners to use, consult your local hardware store or a qualified professional. This product is only deterrent, it is not a substitute for proper adult supervision.
A. With the assistance of another adult, place the unit in desired location against the wall. Mark the location of the strap brackets installed in Step 2 on the wall. Move the unit out of the workspace. B. Drill 2 - 1/4”diameter holes at each mark on the wall. Insert 1 drywall anchor into each hole and gently tap with a hammer until flush with the wall surface. C. Insert 1 long screw through each strap bracket and into the drywall anchor. Secure, but do not over tighten with a Phillips head screwdriver. D. Place the shelving unit back into position against the wall and thread the wall strap through both brackets and pull until tight.

CLEANING AND CARE
Clean surfaces with a dry or damp soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Do not use furniture wax or polish as the wood is finished with a protective clear lacquer.
