Thank you for purchasing the Alcove Hutch. This page
lists all the contents included in the box. Please take
time to identify the hardware as well as the individual
components of this product. As you unpack and prepare
for assembly, place the contents on a carpeted or
padded area to protect them from damage.
Note: 2 people are required to safely assemble this product.

1 A) Fit dowels of bottom panel into corresponding holes in
left and right side panels.
B) Fit dowels of center panel into underside of bottom panel
as shown.

2 With the assistance of another adult, fit dowels of side
panel assembly into corresponding holes in the front frame.
Attach assemblies with 4 bolts, 4 split washers and 4 flat
washers per side panel. Secure, but do not over tighten
each bolt with a phillips head screwdriver.

3 Place back panel face up on a padded surface as shown.
Align dowels of side panel assembly with corresponding
holes in the back panel and fit into position. Secure with 4
bolts, 4 split washers and 4 flat washers per side panel.

4 A) Conceal exposed bolts in side panels with the wood
plugs. No plugs are necessary in the drawer compartment.
B) Attach 2 drawer rails to each side frame as shown. Insert
4 large screws through each drawer rail and secure with a
phillips head screwdriver.

5 With the assistance of another adult place assembly in an
upright position. Attach top panel as shown and secure with
4 bolts, 4 split washers and 4 flat washers.

6 A) Attach 1 right drawer side to 1 drawer back and 1
drawer front with 4 medium screws. Secure, but do not
over tighten with a phillips head screwdriver.
B) Attach drawer pull to drawer front with 1 pull screw.
7 Slide drawer bottom into slot at base of drawer assembly. 8 Fit left drawer side onto assembly, aligning dowels and
drawer bottom with corresponding slots and holes in drawer
side. Secure with 4 medium screws.
Repeat Steps 6 - 8 for the remaining drawer.

9 A) Insert 8 shelf pins into holes in side panels at desired
shelf heights. Fit adjustable shelves into position by insertÂing at an angle and placing on the shelf pins.
B) Align slots on drawer sides with drawer rails and fit into
case. Open each drawer half way and insert 1 dowel drawer
stop into hole on underside of bottom shelf.
10 With the assistance of another adult, place assembled
hutch onto assembled Alcove Storage Cabinet. Align units
as shown and attach 2 mending brackets with 2 small
screws per bracket. Assembly is now complete.
CLEANING AND CARE
Clean surfaces with a dry or damp soft cloth. Do not use
abrasive cleaners. Do not use furniture wax or polish as the
wood is finished with a protective clear lacquer.
