SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
INFORMATION:
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with
the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of
the FC C Ru les. The se limit s a re d esig ned to provi de
reaso nable protect ion ag ainst harmfu l int erference in a
residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and
can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and
use d i n ac cord ance wit h t he i nstr ucti ons, may cau se
harmf ul in terference to radio communica tions. H owever,
there is no guarantee t hat interference will n ot occur in a
particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful
interference to radio or television reception, which can be
determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is
encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more
of the following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Incre ase the separ ation betw een the equip ment and

BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
Follow these precautions when using batteries in this device:
1. Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
2. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in
the battery compartment. Reversed batteries may cause damage to the device.
3. Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline and Carbon-zinc)
or old batteries with fresh ones.
4. If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to
prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage.
5. Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged;they can overheat
and rupture. (Follow battery manufacturer’s directions.)

HEADPHONES:
For private listening, insert headphones into the Headphones jack. The
speaker will be disconnected.
6. Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries may explode or leak.
7. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery
installation.
Insert two (2) AA
size batteries (not included) into the compartment as the polarity
marking inside battery compartment.

OPERATION
To turn the radio on, rotate the
VOLUME/ON/OFF control until
a click is heard.Then, rotate the
VOLUME/ON/OFF control to a
comfortable level.

Slide the Band switch to the AM
or FM position.

Rotate the Tuning c ontrol to
tune a station.

To turn the unit off, rotate the
VOLUME/ON/OFF control until a
click is heard.

Cleaning the unit
• The finish on your unit may be cleaned with a dust cloth and cared
for as other furniture. Use caution when cleaning and wiping the
