round-jacketed extension cords approved for outdoor use.
* To reduce risk of electric shock, this
unit has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This unit will fit with a polarized plug only one way. If the extension cord plug will
not completely fit on the units plug, reverse the plug. If the extension cord will still not fit, use an extension cord with the proper polarized connection. If the plug still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper wall outlet. Do not alter the unit's plug or extension cord in any way.
* A nameplate on the unit will indicate
the voltage used. This information is needed to determine the wire size
(AWG) of the extension cord you should use. Never connect the unit
to an AC voltage that differs from this voltage.
* WARNING: To reduce the risk of
electric shock, use the unit only with an extension cord intended
for outdoor use, such as SW- A, STW-A, STOW-A, SJW-A, SJOW-A, SJTW-A, or SJTOW-A cord types.

will draw. An undersized cord wilt cause a drop in line voltage that
will cause the unit to loose power and overheat. The above table
shows the correct extension cord sized based on the cord length and
nameplate ampere rating. If you are not sure what cord size to use, use the next heavier size line gauge. The smaller the gauge number, the
heavier the cord.
