SPECiFiC SAFETY RULES FOR BELT SANDER
= Hold sanders by insulated gripping surfaces, because the belt may
contact its own cord. Cutting a "live" wire may make exposed metal parts
of the power tool "live" and could give the operator an electric shock.
= A suitable breathing respirator must be worn while sanding lead paint,
some woods and metal to avoid breathing the harmful/toxic dust or air.
= Always wear safety goggles and a dust mask when sanding, especially
sanding over-head.
= The machine is not suitable for wet sanding. = Secure the workpiece. A workpiece clamped with clamping devices or in a
vice is held more secure than by hand.
