Remote Setup for Television Using Device Code Entry
Programación Remota de Televisión Usando el Ingreso del Código del Dispositivo
1. Turn on the device you wish to program.
Encienda el dispositivo que desea programar.
2. Find your device and brand from the adjacent list and note the digit key assigned to your brand.
Localice su dispositivo y la marca en la lista adyacente, anote el DIGIT asignado a su marca.
3. NOTE: If the brand of your device is not listed please proceed to setup using Device Code Entry or Searching for Your Code.
NOTA: Si la marca de su dispositivo no está en la lista, proceda a programarlo usando el Ingreso del Código del Dispositivo o Búsqueda de Código Válido.
4. Press and HOLD MUTE + SELECT simultaneously until device key blinks twice then release both keys.
Oprima y AGUANTE los botones MUTE + SELECT simultáneamente hasta que el botón del dispositivo titile dos veces y suelte ambos botones.
5. Press and release the DEVICE key. DEVICE key LED stays on.
Oprima y suelte el botón DEVICE. El botón LED del dispositivo permanece en ON
6. While aiming the remote at your device press and hold in the DIGIT key for your brand.
Apunte el control remoto al dispositivo oprima y aguante el botón del DIGIT de la marca.
7. DIGIT key and the code will be automatically saved.
Cuando el dispositivo se apague, suelte el botón DIGIT y el código se almacenará automáticamente.
1. Turn on the TV you wish to program.

2. Press and release the TV key.

3. Find your TV brand from the list on the right.

1. Remove battery cover.

Solución de Problemas
Problem: Device keys do not blink when a key is pressed. Solution: Replace batteries.
Problema: Los botones del dispositivo no titilan cuando se oprime un botón. Solución: Cambie las baterías.
Problem: Device keys blink but remote does not control my equipment. Solution: Press correct device key and point remote at equipment you need to control.
Problema: Los botones del dispositivo titilan pero el control remoto no controla mi equipo. Solución: Oprima el botón correcto del dispositivo y apunte el control remoto al dispositivo que desea controlar.
Problem: Tried all codes for my brand of device and none work. Solution: Try Searching for Your Code method or go to remotes.cox.com for model-based search.
Problema: Probé con todos los códigos para la marca de mi dispositivo y ninguno funciona. Solución: Intente con el método de Búsqueda de Código o visite remotes.cox.com para búsqueda por modelo.
Problem: I want to switch volume control from AUX back to TV. Solution: Repeat steps in Setting Volume Control to Audio Device but in step 4, press and release the TV key instead.

6. When the device turns , release the SELECT key and the code will be saved automatically.
