APPLICATION
The Cospolich Hot Food Well is designed to maintain
temperatures of prepared foods for continuous duty
within food service operations. The top-mount drop-in is
designed to be installed in metal counters as new
construction, or to replace existing equipment.

SPECIFICATIONS
The Hot Well accomodates standard 12” x 20” pans up
to 6” deep. Engineered for ease of installation, they
feature the Cospolich Bar Tab lock-down mechanism.
Construction includes an outer stainless steel well
enclosure (for shipboard applications) which is fully
insulated. The heating element may be accessed using
simple tools and without totally removing the unit.
INSTALLATION OVERVIEW
The following installation instructions are for a typical
application. A typical application is to mount the unit in a
cabinet that is at least 26” deep and has metal surfaces
not more than 1/8” thick. If your application varies from
his, please contact Cospolich or a Cospolich
representative.
• Line the well opening on all 4 sides with the supplied
roll of gasket material and remove the paper backing.
• The sealant should be applied approximately ¼” from
the edge of the cut out opening.
• Feed the control panel through the large top opening
and front opening while dropping the hot well into its
opening.
• Mount the control panel to its opening by securing the
studs using the nuts provided.
• Using a flat blade screwdriver, lock Bar Tabs into place
by turning the tab clockwise.
ELECTRICAL
Standard units are 115 VAC / 1500 watts / 12.5 amps.
Additionally available in 208 VAC / 1200 watts / 5.7
amps and 230 VAC / 1600 watts / 6.7 amps . The
control thermostat is furnished with high temperature
control wire within a flexible conduit.
SAFETY & SANITATION
The Cospolich Hot Food wells are designed and
constructed in accordance with national codes
and military specifications outlining food service
equipment.
DRAIN
All drains are ½” NPT stainless welded to the
pan with a removable, stainless steel screen
