The COSMO Srl, warrants to the original purchaser of each new agricultural product of its own manufacture (“product”) that
such product shall be free from defects in material and/or workmanship, when properly set up and operated in accordance with
the recommendations set forth in the product’s operator’s manual, for one full year after delivery to the original purchaser.
This Iimited warranty shall apply only to complete machines. The COSMO Srl product will qualify for the COSMO Srl limited
warranty only if the on line warranty registration has been submitted within 10 (Ten) days from the date of purchase.
Receipt of warranty registration after the 10 (Ten) days from purchase will automatically invalidate the warranty. Parts and
accessories not of COSMO manufacture are warranted only to the extent of their original manufacturer’s warranty and subject
to their allowance to COSMO lf found defective.
All warranty claims must be forwarded to COSMO Srl Italy within 10 (Ten) days after occurence of failure. Receipt of warranty
claim after 10 (Ten) days from occurence wilI automatically invalidate the warranty claim.
During the warranty period, the authorized COSMO dealer shall furnish replacement component parts without charge for any
product that fails because of defects in material and/or workmanship. no products or component parts shall be repaired,
replaced or returned without prior written authorization from COSMO Srl.
The sole and exclusive remedy against the manufacturer during the warranty period wiIl be for the repair or replacement of
defective products in the manner provided under this warranty.
In no event shall the manufacturer’s liability exceed the purchase price of the product. The manufacturer shall not be Iiable to
any person under any circumstances for any incidental or consequential damages (including, but not Iimited to, loss of profits)
occuring for any reason at any time. This limited warranty does not obligate the manufacturer to bear any transportation
charges in connection with the repair or replacement of defective products.
The manufacturer shall not be obligated for any charges for labor or other costs incidental to the removal or remounting of
component parts repaired or replaced under this limited warranty. This warranty shall not apply to any machine which shall have
been repaired or altered outside the COSMO factory without prior manufacturer’s approval, to affect its stability or reliability,
nor which has been subject to misuse, negligence or accident, nor to any machine which shall not have been operated in
accordance with the manufacturer’s printed instructions or beyond the company recommended machine rated capacity.
This warranty shall not be applicable to items which are subject to the warranties of their respective manufacturers. Such items
would include but would not be limited to clutches, universal joints, knives, hydraulic components, bearings, tires, belts and
other trade accessories.This warranty shall not be applicable to items defined as normal wear items. Such items include, but
are not limited to belts, discs, knives, tines, stone guards, tires, slip clutches, pitman shafts, swath sticks, blades, time
holders.The judgement of COSMO srl. in all cases of claims under this warranty shall be final and conclusive and the original
purchaser agrees to accept its decision on all questions as to defect and to the exchange of any part or parts.
No agent, employee or representative of COSMO Srl. i’s has any authority to bind COSMO Srl to any affirmation representation
or warranty concerning its machinery expect as specifically set forth.
COSMO Srl. reserves the right to modify, alter and improve any product without incurring in any obbligation to replace any
product previously sold with such modified, altered or improved product.

1. INTRODUZIONE
Gli spandiconcime centrifughi sono macchine utilizzate per la distribuzione sul terreno di concimi solidi granulari e sementi. Possono essere utilizzati sia con trattrici di piccola/media potenza sia con tutti
i mezzi atv-quad.
Si raccomanda di leggere attentamente il presente manuale di uso e manutenzione, ed attenersi scrupolosamente alle indicazioni descritte prima di qualsiasi uso, controllo ed operazione da
effettuarsi con e sulla macchina.
Questo manuale è stato redatto per fornire al Cliente tutte le informazioni sulla macchina e sulle
norme di sicurezza ad essa collegate, nonché le istruzioni d’uso e manutenzione che consentono di
sfruttare al meglio le potenzialità della macchina.
Il manuale deve essere sempre a portata di mano in modo tale da poterlo consultare per verificare il
ciclo operativo. Se venisse smarrito o danneggiato occorrerà richiederne copia sostitutiva.
Qualora si incontrino difficoltà di interpretazione dei testi o delle tabelle, o i disegni/schemi non risultino abbastanza chiari, si prega di contattare il costruttore o rivenditore della macchina per avere
immediatamente tutti i chiarimenti tramite gli esperti di funzionamento/manutenzione o tramite gli
addetti alla compilazione del manuale.

2. INFORMAZIONI GENERALI
2.1 INFORMAZIONI SUL MANUALE
Questo manuale fornisce tutte le informazioni per l’uso e la manutenzione della macchina. Il buon funzionamento e la sua durata dipenderanno dalla buona manutenzione e dall’attenzione nell’utilizzo.
Alcune illustrazioni presenti in questo manuale mostrano particolari o accessori che potrebbero essere differenti da quelli della vostra macchina, qualche componente potrebbe essere stato rimosso per
assicurare la chiarezza delle illustrazioni.
Sulla macchina sono applicati appositi pittogrammi che sarà cura dell’operatore mantenere in un perfetto stato visivo e sostituirli quando non siano più leggibili.
Il simbolo a sinistra, unito alle parole sotto indicate:

2.2 INFORMAZIONI SULLA MACCHINA
I modelli di macchina presentati in questo manuale sono stati progettati e costruiti esclusivamente
per effettuare la distribuzione sul terreno di concimi solidi granulari e di sementi. Il loro utilizzo è particolarmente indicato per il giardinaggio e per i campi da golf.
Queste macchine sono utilizzate solitamente durante il giorno. Se ne è richiesto l’uso notturno o in
condizioni di visibilità ridotte, bisogna utilizzare il sistema di illuminazione della trattrice o del mezzo
a cui la macchina è collegata.
Un uso diverso da quello specificato è considerato improprio.
Qualunque modifica arbitraria apportata a questa macchina solleva il costruttore da qualsiasi responsabilità per danni o lesioni, anche gravi, che possono risultare agli operatori, a terzi
e a cose.
2.2.1 TARGHETTA DI IDENTIFICAZIONE
Sulla tramoggia di ogni macchina è fissata una targhetta riportante il modello, il numero di serie e
l’anno di costruzione della macchina.
Quando si richiedono pezzi di ricambio è necessario sempre fare riferimento al tipo di macchina, al numero di telaio e all’anno di costruzione.
2.2.2. CARATTERISTICHE DELLA MACCHINA
Lo spandiconcime mod. PTP è caratterizzato da un distributore di concime completamente in acciaio inox dotato un disco distributore con quattro palette regolabili in quattro diverse posizioni per ottenere la massima precisione di spargimento ed uniformità nella distribuzione a seconda del tipo di prodotto che si deve spandere.

L’alimentazione del disco avviene per gravità attraverso un’apertura, situata sul fondo della tramog-
gia, all’interno della quale è applicato un agitatore/rimescolatore per impedire la formazione di grumi
di fertilizzante. Anteriormente al disco è sistemato un riparo in lamiera per impedire lo spandimento
nella parte anteriore della macchina.
Il dosaggio del prodotto avviene variando la sezione di apertura del fondo della tramoggia per mezzo
di una leva di regolazione.

Il distributore e l’agitatore sono collegati, per mezzo di un gruppo ad angolo, con le ruote in modo da
permettere una velocità del disco distributivo direttamente proporzionale alla velocità di avanzamento della macchina. L’inserimento e disinserimento del moto avviene inserendo o togliendo una spina
di sicurezza inserita sull’assale.
Le macchine possono essere predisposte, a richiesta, con attacco a sfera in versione 45 mm o 50
mm. In tutti modelli è previsto il montaggio di un timone regolabile in altezza al fine di mantenere il
disco distributore parallelo al terreno.

La robustezza del telaio in acciaio saldato, unita alla notevole durata nel tempo della tramoggia, consente di ottenere un livello di qualità complessivo altissimo nella categoria di appartenenza dei distributori di concime trainati.
La verniciatura come viene effettuata con vernice epossidica a forno a 150°C con l’applicazione della
mano di fondo a bagno, garantendo una grande protezione e una lunga durata della macchina.

3. INFORMAZIONI SULLA SICUREZZA
LE SEGUENTI PRESCRIZIONI DI SICUREZZA SERVONO A SALVAGUARDARE
LA VOSTRA INCOLUMITÀ: È NECESSARIO QUINDI LEGGERLE ATTENTAMENTE,
MEMORIZZARLE ED APPLICARLE SEMPRE
Le avvertenze presenti in questo manuale riguardano esclusivamente gli usi consentiti e ragionevolmente prevedibili. Le indicazioni di seguito riportate dovranno essere integrate dal buon
senso e dall’esperienza di chi opera, misure indispensabili alla prevenzione degli infortuni.
La macchina deve essere utilizzata da un solo operatore. Non fare utilizzare la macchina a minorenni.
Tutte le istruzioni di seguito elencate vanno rispettate con attenzione.
Eventuali modifiche all’attrezzo non preventivamente autorizzate dal Costruttore (in forma scritta), ne
escludono la sua responsabilità.
Verificare prima di ogni impiego il corretto funzionamento della macchina.
Consigli generali
• Leggere attentamente questo manuale prima di procedere alle operazioni di avviamento, impiego,
manutenzione od altri interventi sulla macchina.
• Osservare, oltre alle avvertenze contenute in questo manuale, tutte le norme di sicurezza ed antinfortunistiche di carattere generale.
• Il manuale deve essere sempre a portata di mano in modo tale da poterlo consultare per verificare il ciclo operativo e le informazioni sulla sicurezza. Se venisse smarrito o danneggiato occorrerà
richiederne una copia sostitutiva.
ATTENZIONE!
Qualsiasi lavoro di manutenzione, regolazione e pulizia va effettuato con
macchina a terra (in condizioni di stabilità), motore della trattrice spento,
freno a mano inserito, chiave di accensione spenta e tolta dal quadro di
accensione.
• Leggere attentamente le decalcomanie di sicurezza applicate sulla macchina e seguire le istruzioni. In caso di deterioramento o scarsa leggibilità dei pittogrammi di sicurezza, pulirli o sostituirli collocandoli nell’esatta posizione come descritto nel paragrafo 3.1.
ATTENZIONE! - AVVERTIMENTO!
L’operatore, durante il periodo di utilizzo, manutenzione, riparazione, movimentazione
o immagazzinamento della macchina, deve indossare scarpe antinfortunistiche e guanti di sicurezza. Se necessario dovrà, inoltre, portare cuffie antirumore, maschera antipolvere e occhiali protettivi.
• Durante le fasi di carico sussiste il pericolo di inalazione di polveri prodotte dalla miscelazione dei
componenti del concime utilizzato. Si consiglia di utilizzare trattrici dotate di cabina con filtri sul
sistema di ventilazione oppure, di utilizzare idonei sistemi di protezione delle vie respiratorie quali
maschere antipolvere o maschere con filtro.

• La macchina è progettata per essere utilizzata da un solo operatore che, durante l’utilizzo, deve
sempre rimanere nella postazione di comando a bordo della trattrice.
• Non lavorare mai con questa macchina se siete stanchi, ammalati o sotto l’influenza di alcool, droghe o medicine.
PERICOLO!
E’ vietato salire o farsi trasportare dalla macchina in movimento.
Non introdursi per nessuna ragione all’interno della tramoggia.
• Tenere la macchina pulita da materiali estranei (detriti, attrezzi, oggetti vari) che potrebbero danneggiarne il funzionamento o arrecare danni all’operatore. I fertilizzanti generalmente sono piuttosto corrosivi. Per questa ragione è importante che nessuna particella di concime rimanga nella
macchina per lunghi periodi di tempo. Pulire la tramoggia e il distributore subito dopo l’utilizzo della
macchina.
• Se per le operazioni di pulizia si utilizza aria o acqua in pressione, è necessario indossare occhiali e maschere di protezione ed allontanare eventuali persone o animali nei pressi della macchina.
• Prima di collegare la macchina alla trattrice o ad altro mezzo semovente accertarsi che questa sia
in buone condizioni e che i freni funzionino correttamente, soprattutto se si lavora su terreni in
pendenza.
• Staccare la macchina dalla trattrice solo su un terreno compatto e pianeggiante (possibilmente
con la tramoggia vuota), verificando che sia ferma e stabile
.
AVVERTIMENTO!
Nelle operazioni di trasporto, stoccaggio ed impiego dei fertilizzanti, gli
utilizzatori devono comportarsi conformemente alle indicazioni riportate in
etichetta del prodotto ed in particolare al contenuto delle frasi di rischio
e dei consigli di prudenza.
ATTENZIONE!
Il Costruttore non risponde di eventuali danni causati da un impiego della
macchina non prevedibile o improprio.
Il Costruttore si ritiene sollevato da eventuali responsabilità in caso di:
- uso improprio della macchina, utilizzo da parte di personale non addestrato;
- gravi carenze nella manutenzione prevista;
- modifiche o interventi non autorizzati;
- utilizzo di ricambi non originali o specifici per il modello;
- inosservanza totale o parziale delle istruzioni;
- inosservanza delle comuni norme di sicurezza nell’ambito di lavoro;
- eventi eccezionali.

Funzionamento della macchina
• Effettuare una verifica della macchina prima di ogni messa in funzione. Iniziare il lavoro solo se la
macchina si trova in perfette condizioni.
• Prima di utilizzare la macchina assicurarsi che tutti i dispositivi di sicurezza siano collocati correttamente al loro posto ed in buono stato; qualora si verificassero guasti o danneggiamenti alle protezioni sostituirle immediatamente.
ATTENZIONE!
Durante il lavoro, assicurarsi che nel raggio di 50 metri non ci siano perso-
ne o animali. Quando si lavora in prossimità di strade o luoghi pubblici è
ASSOLUTAMENTE OBBLIGATORIO allontanare le persone e raddoppiare la
prudenza.
ATTENZIONE!
Chiunque si avvicini alla macchina è in zona di pericolo e perciò diventa una
“PERSONA ESPOSTA”. L’operatore deve impedire a chiunque di entrare
nella zona di pericolo ed operare egli stesso con la massima cautela.
Qualora qualcuno si avvicinasse arrestare immediatamente il motore della
trattrice.
• Prima di ogni utilizzo dello spandiconcime, controllare sempre lo stato d’usura delle palette dei
dischi distributori. Verificare che gli elementi di fissaggio (viti e dadi) siano presenti e ben fissati.
• La macchina non deve essere lasciata incustodita quando è in moto.
• Mantenere sempre la macchina in buone condizioni operative ed effettuare regolarmente la manu-
tenzione.
Trasferimento su strada
ATTENZIONE!
Attenersi scrupolosamente al codice della strada in vigore nel paese di uti-
lizzo.
Durante i trasferimenti su strada pubblica è obbligatorio di svuotare la tramoggia del suo contenuto.
Unitamente al rispetto delle norme è da ricordare che nella circolazione sulle strade pubbliche particolare attenzione dovrà essere posta, oltre che ad eventuali prescrizioni particolari annotate sul libretto di circolazione della motrice, alla scelta di una velocità di trasferimento appropriata specialmente
quando la strada si presenta affollata, tortuosa o in pendenza.
Nel caso che lo spandiconcime occulti con la sua sagoma le luci di segnalazione posteriori del mezzo
trainante, è necessario applicare una barra luci ripetitiva e/o
dei cartelli di segnalazione posteriore.
Durante i trasferimenti su strada, l’organo distributore non
deve essere azionato. Disinserire il blocco meccanico dall’as-
sale della ruota come mostrato in figura.

3.1. SEGNALETICA DI SICUREZZA
ATTENZIONE!
Assicurarsi che i pittogrammi di sicurezza siano leggibili. Pulirli usando un
panno, acqua e sapone. Sostituire le etichette danneggiate collocandole
nell’esatta posizione come descritto successivamente.
La segnaletica di sicurezza applicata alla macchina fornisce una serie di indicazioni importantissime:
la loro osservanza serve alla Vostra sicurezza.
1. ATTENZIONE!
Prima di effettuare qualsiasi intervento sulla macchina, fermare il moto-
re della trattrice o del mezzo semovente, togliere la chiave dal cruscotto, azionare il freno di stazionamento e leggere il manuale di uso e manutenzione.
2. ATTENZIONE! – PERICOLO!
Possibile lancio di materiale e/o oggetti, non sostare od avvicinarsi alla
macchina. Mantenere una distanza di sicurezza minima di 50 m dalla
macchina.
3. ATTENZIONE! – PERICOLO!
Vietato entrare nella tramoggia o farsi trasportare dalla macchina.
4. ATTENZIONE!

4. UTILIZZO DELLO SPANDICONCIME
ATTENZIONE!
Prima dell’utilizzo verificare che gli organi meccanici siano adeguatamen-
te ingrassati (vedere paragrafo 5.1).
ATTENZIONE!
Durante l’utilizzo della macchina assicurarsi che nel raggio di 50 metri
non ci siano persone o animali. Qualora qualcuno si avvicinasse interrompere immediatamente il lavoro e arrestare il motore della trattrice.
Raccomandazioni per una corretta distribuzione
• Eseguire sempre una prova per i kg/ha che si desiderano distribuire prima di iniziare la
lavorazione.
• Utilizzare un fertilizzante in perfette condizioni: un fertilizzante umido non potrà essere distribuito
correttamente e uniformemente.
• Evitare di spargere il fertilizzante nelle giornate troppo ventose per migliorare l’uniformità di distribuzione.
4.1. COLLEGAMENTI
Le macchine spandiconcime mod. PTP possono essere agganciate ad ogni tipo di trattrice o mezzi
atv-quad muniti di attacco a sfera 50 mm
(1 7/8”).
Per effettuare il collegamento è necessario inserire l’attacco a sfera nel gancio di traino posto sul
mezzo trainante e bloccarlo spingendo verso il basso la maniglia di blocco.
Verificare e regolare la lunghezza dell’asta di regolazione del timone,
in modo tale che il disco
distributore sia quanto più possibile parallelo rispetto al terreno, in modo da ottenere una
distribuzione di fertilizzante uniforme e regolare.
Svitare il bullone di blocco indicato con la freccia in figura e spostare l’asta nella posizione ottimale,
in corrispondenza di uno dei fori presenti e serrare il bullone nella nuova posizione.

4.2. REGOLAZIONI
Non è possibile stabilire una tabella di spandimento esatta per attrezzi che sfruttano il principio centrifugo, poiché la quantità distribuita dipende dalla velocità di avanzamento, dal raggio di distribuzione, dalla qualità ed umidità del fertilizzante e dalle asperità del terreno.
Il concime deve sempre essere immagazzinato e conservato adeguatamente in modo da mantenere
inalterate le sue caratteristiche fisiche.
E’ necessario stabilire la velocità di avanzamento della mezzo trainante prima di iniziare l’operazione
di distribuzione, e cercare, nei limiti del possibile, di mantenerla costante per tutta la sua durata.
Le tabelle di spandimento contengono le indicazioni orientative per determinare la quantità da distribuire in campo; queste devono essere integrate dall’esperienza e dalla competenza dell’operatore.
4.2.1. REGOLAZIONE DELLE ALETTE DISTRIBUTRICI
Per assicurare una distribuzione omogenea su entrambi i lati dello spandiconcime centrifugo, a
seconda del diverso peso specifico del fertilizzante impiegato, le alette distributrici poste sul disco
distributore possono essere variate di posizione.
Quando tutte le alette sono posizionate nel foro
1 (come mostrato in figura), la distribuzione del pro-
dotto viene aumentata verso sinistra rispetto al verso di avanzamento della trattrice. Se invece le alette vengono posizionate nel foro
4 la distribuzione sarà maggiore verso destra.
Inoltre, spostando le alette dalla posizione
1 alla posizione 4, a parità di velocità di avanzamento, si
avrà un aumento della larghezza di distribuzione del fertilizzante.
Regolazione alette disco distributore
Tale regolazione deve essere effettuata a seconda dal tipo di fertilizzante utilizzato e dell’esperienza
dell’operatore.

4.2.2. REGOLAZIONE DELLA QUANTITÀ DA DISTRIBUIRE
La distribuzione di fertilizzante è regolata tramite la leva di regolazione che comanda la sezione di
apertura sul fondo della tramoggia.
Per effettuare la regolazione, dopo aver consultato la tabella di spandimento, in base al tipo di prodotto ed alla velocità di avanzamento, è necessario spostare la leva
“A” lungo la scala graduata “E”
e bloccandola nella posizione desiderata con la spina
“D”.
Per distribuire da entrambi i lati
(rif. I), le leve “A” e “B” devono essere nella stesa posizione, colle-
gate tramite la manopola
“C”.
Per effettuare la distribuzione solo sul lato sinistro
(rif. II), rispetto al verso di avanzamento della trat-
trice, è necessario scollegare le due leve rimuovendo la manopola
“C”, posizionare la leva “B” nella
posizione scelta in base alla tabella di spandimento e portare la leva
“A” verso la parte più alta (posi-
zione 1) in modo da chiudere l’apertura destra posta sul fondo della tramoggia.
Per distribuire solo sul alto destro
(rif. III) bisogna invece portare la leva “B” verso l’alto (in posizione
1) e regolare la quantità da distribuire con la leva
“A”

4.3. CARICO DELLA TRAMOGGIA
Si consiglia di non effettuare il carico della tramoggia manualmente ma utilizzando un sollevatore o
idonei mezzi meccanici.
ATTENZIONE!
La tramoggia deve essere caricata soltanto dopo aver collegato lo spandi-
concime al mezzo trainante.
Non guidare per lunghe distanze a carico pieno e non mettere sacchi pieni sul concime contenuto
nella tramoggia durante il trasporto in campo o durante la lavorazione per non sovraccaricare la portata della macchina e comprimere il fertilizzante.
AVVERTIMENTO!
Nelle operazioni di trasporto, stoccaggio ed impiego dei fertilizzanti, gli uti-
lizzatori devono comportarsi conformemente alle indicazioni riportate in
etichetta del prodotto ed in particolare al contenuto delle frasi di rischio e
dei consigli di prudenza.
4.4.
DISTRIBUZIONE DEL FERTILIZZANTE IN CAMPO
ATTENZIONE! - AVVERTIMENTO!
L’operatore, durante il periodo di utilizzo, manutenzione, riparazione, movimentazione
o immagazzinamento della macchina, deve indossare scarpe antinfortunistiche e guanti di sicurezza. Se necessario dovrà, inoltre, portare cuffie antirumore, maschera antipolvere e occhiali protettivi.
Dopo aver collegato la macchina alla trattrice ed aver effettuato le necessarie regolazioni è possibile
iniziare in lavoro.
ATTENZIONE!
Prima di scendere dalla trattrice e prima di ogni operazione di manuten-
zione e regolazione azionare il freno di stazionamento, spegnere il motore
e togliere la chiave di accensione dal cruscotto e attendere l’arresto di
tutti gli elementi mobili.
Innestare il blocco sull’assale, in modo che il distributore
possa essere azionato dalle ruote durante l’avanzamento,
solamente nel momento in cui si deve effettuare la distribuzione di fertilizzante.

Esistono diversi modi per distribuire il fertilizzate nel campo. Uno dei metodi più semplici viene di
seguito indicato:
• Posizionare la trattrice all’inizio del campo che si intende trattare, ad una distanza (D/2) uguale a
metà dell’ampiezza di lavoro che viene utilizzata (punto 1)
• Avanzare nell’interno del campo distribuendo il fertilizzante su tutto il perimetro
.
• Fermare la trattrice ad una distanza (D) dal punto 1 pari all’ampiezza di lavoro impostata (punto
2).
• Iniziare lo spargimento procedendo in linea retta fino al punto 3.
• Girare la trattrice e percorrere una distanza D pari all’ampiezza di lavoro (punto 4).
• Ripetere tale procedura finché tutto l’appezzamento sarà coperto.

4.4.1. ERRORI DELLA DISTRIBUZIONE
Errori di operazione
• Velocità di avanzamento inadeguata.
• Larghezza di distribuzione incorretta.
• Il disco distributore non è in posizione orizzontale rispetto al terreno.
• Velocità di avanzamento della trattrice diversa da quella prescritta nelle tabelle di distribuzione, o
comunque non idonea per quel determinato tipo di concime.
• Errori di guida (mancata sovrapposizione delle superfici di spandimento).
• Mancata pulizia dei dischi distributori.
Errori dovuti al fertilizzante
• Fertilizzante di qualità scadente.
• Fertilizzante bagnato o eccessivamente umido.
• La composizione del concime non è corretta o non corrisponde a quanto dichiarato dal venditore.
• Presenza di grumi eccessivi di concime o di dimensioni particolarmente grandi che influiscono
negativamente sulla resa della distribuzione.
• Corpi estranei nel concime.
Errori dovuti alla macchina
• Aperture della tramoggia otturate.
• Parti dei dischi di distribuzione logorate o danneggiate.

5. MANUTENZIONE
Vengono illustrati i criteri consigliati di manutenzione ordinaria della macchina, basati sull’esperienza
aziendale e sui consigli e suggerimenti dati a più riprese dai nostri clienti.
Tali criteri non esaustivi ma possono essere ulteriormente integrati anche con la collaborazione degli
stessi clienti che si ringraziano anticipatamente.
Una buona manutenzione ordinaria mantiene basso il costo di esercizio della macchina e consente
uno sfruttamento integrale delle sue potenzialità.
ATTENZIONE!
Qualsiasi lavoro di manutenzione, regolazione e pulizia va effettuato con
macchina a terra (in condizioni di stabilità), motore della trattrice spento, freno a mano inserito, chiave di accensione spenta e tolta dal quadro
di accensione.
In caso di avaria l’operatore deve fermare immediatamente la macchina, accertarsi dell’en-
tità del problema e procedere ad eventuali interventi sulla macchina.
Se si utilizza acqua in pressione o aria compressa per la pulizia della macchina è necessario proteggersi con appositi occhiali o maschere di protezione ed allontanare eventuali persone o animali nei
pressi della macchina. Non usare fluidi infiammabili.
ATTENZIONE!
Per le operazioni di manutenzione utilizzare sempre gli opportuni
Dispositivi di Protezione Individuale (calzature antinfortunistiche e guanti da lavoro) e predisporre tutte le forme di prevenzione antinfortunistica
previste per il tipo di operazione in corso.
Ogni 8 ore di lavoro effettivo controllare il serraggio di tutti i dadi e dei bulloni.
In caso di vibrazioni anomale verificare lo stato d’usura delle palette dei dischi distributori, il corretto
serraggio di tutta la bulloneria e la lubrificazione del gruppo di trasmissione.
L’eccessiva vibrazione della macchina, oltre al fastidio specifico, è di per se pericolosa e comunque
va a danneggiare l’intera struttura sottoponendo gli organi meccanici a cicli di stress sempre più onerosi rispetto ai dati di progetto.
Per interventi particolari che non si conoscono o di sostituzione di parti danneggiate non contemplate in questo Manuale, è necessario ricorrere a personale specializzato avvalendosi del Servizio
Assistenza presso il Costruttore o suoi rivenditori.

5.1. INGRASSAGGIO
Prima di ogni utilizzo e dopo ogni 8 ore di lavoro effettivo, eseguire l’ingrassaggio della macchina.
E’ buona norma che le teste degli ingrassatori siano preventivamente
ben pulite da fango o altri residui prima di usarle per iniettare grasso
lubrificante.
Ingrassare con grasso al litio i punti previsti, indicati in figura.
5.2. SOSTITUZIONE DELLE PALETTE DEL DISTRIBUTORE
Nel caso le palettate dei dischi distributori siano rotte o danneggiate è necessario provvedere alla loro
sostituzione con atre originali.
Svitare con una chiave il dado di fissaggio e sostituire l’elemento danneggiato.
Gli elementi di fissaggio (viti e dadi) devono essere dello stesso tipo di quelli prescritti dal Costruttore.

5.3. IMMAGAZZINAMENTO
E’ buona norma non aspettare di usare la macchina per effettuare interventi di riparazione e manutenzione. Riparare e sostituire le parti che sono rotte o danneggiate prima del rimessaggio, così da
avere sempre la macchina pronta per essere utilizzata.
Immagazzinare la macchina in un luogo riparato da agenti atmosferici e proteggerla per evitarne deterioramenti.
I fertilizzanti generalmente sono piuttosto corrosivi. Per questa ragione è importante che
nessuna particella di concime rimanga nella macchina per lunghi periodi di tempo.
Prima di mettere la macchina a riposo per lunghi periodi è opportuno operare come segue:
- lavare accuratamente la macchina e l’interno della tramoggia;
- effettuare un controllo generale a vista della macchina per individuare eventuali lesioni strutturali,
rilevare eventuali abrasioni profonde sulla verniciatura;
- verificare che siano presenti i pittogrammi di sicurezza originali nelle loro posizioni, che siano inte-
gri e leggibili, e nel caso siano deteriorati o illeggibili provvedere immediatamente alla loro sostituzione (vedere par. 3.1);
- ingrassare tutti gli organi meccanici (vedere par. 5.1);
- ricoverare, se possibile, la macchina in un locale coperto.
5.4. PARTI DI RICAMBIO
Per la sostituzione di parti della macchina SPANDICONCIME CENTRIFUGO Mod. PTP, il cliente deve
avvalersi esclusivamente di ricambi originali, ordinandoli direttamente al Costruttore della macchina
a rivenditori autorizzati.
Nell’effettuare l’ordinazione occorre specificare quanto riportato sulla targhetta d’identificazione della
macchina, in particolare:
- serie
- modello
- anno di fabbricazione
- numero di telaio

6. GARANZIA
Tutte le macchine prodotte, presentate in questo Manuale sono vendute con una
garanzia di
un anno
dalla data di consegna, soggetta alle seguenti clausole:

Nel caso venga riscontrato un difetto in un pezzo (od in alcuni pezzi) di una macchina. durante un
periodo di un anno dalla data di consegna della macchina al cliente, la stessa si impegna a verificare il pezzo ritenuto difettoso e, qualora nel corso di detta verifica venisse accertato un difetto
dovuto ai materiali impiegati o di fabbricazione, si impegna a riparare il pezzo difettoso o, a sua
discrezione, a sostituirlo gratuitamente.

Il cliente, alla consegna, deve controllare che la macchina non abbia subito danni durante il trasporto, che sia conforme a quella ordinata e completa di tutti gli accessori previsti dal contratto di
acquisto. In caso contrario deve spedire un reclamo scritto entro 8 giorni dal ricevimento della
stessa.

La garanzia non si applica nei seguenti casi:
a) normale usura;
b) rotture o guasti derivanti da negligenza o dall’impiego delle macchine in condizioni diverse da
quelle consentite;
c) qualora la macchina abbia subito modifiche non autorizzate (in forma scritta) dalla Casa Madre
o siano state montate parti di ricambio od accessori non originali;
d) quando il numero di matricola della macchina sia stato modificato, tolto o cancellato.
Sono in ogni caso a carico dell’acquirente spese di sostituzione dei materiali di consumo, la manodopera, le spese di trasporto, gli eventuali tributi doganali e l’imposta sul valore aggiunto.
Si declina ogni responsabilità per danni diretti o indiretti derivanti da rotture e/o usura di parti delle
macchine, nonché per quelli derivanti dall’impiego proprio o improprio delle medesime.

Difetti non chiaramente attribuibili al materiale o alla fabbricazione verranno esaminati presso il
nostro Centro Assistenza Tecnica o presso la nostra sede. Se il reclamo dovesse risultare ingiustificato, tutte le spese di riparazione e/o sostituzione delle parti danneggiate saranno addebitate
all’acquirente.

Tutti i ricambi saranno fatturati all’atto della spedizione e l’eventuale riconoscimento delle garanzie (previo ricevimento e verifica del pezzo avariato) darà diritto all’accredito.
Il costruttore o suo rivenditore non sarà responsabile dello smarrimento, né del danno, qualunque
esso sia ed in qualunque modo si sia verificato durante il trasporto.
L’impegno sopraccitato si riferisce alla persona del cliente e non può essere ceduto o trasmesso ad
altri.

1. INTRODUCTION
The centrifugal pull type spreaders are machines used for the distribution of solid, granular fertilizers and
seeds in the field. They can be used whether with tractors of small/medium power or with atv-quad.
It is recommended to carefully read this operator’s manual of use and maintenance, and follow
the recommendations to help ensure safe and efficient operation with and on the machine. This
manual has been written, in order to give the customer all the information and safety rules on the
machine, as well as use and maintenance instructions that let to make good use of the potentialities
of the machine.
The manual must always be handy, so as to consult it, in order to check the operational cycle. If it
getslost or damaged, it will be necessary to ask for a substitutive copy.
In case of some difficulties of interpretation on texts or tables, or if the drawings/sketches are not
clear enough, please get immediately in touch with the manufacturer or dealer of the machine for
having all the clarifications through the experts in the working/maintenance or through the person who
wrote the manual.
We are completely available for a real collaboration in order to improve the understanding of the whole manual.
2. GENERAL INFORMATION
2.1. USING THIS MANUAL
This manual gives all the information for the use and maintenance of the machine. The good working
and its life depends on the good maintenance and to the attention during the use. Some pictures in
this manual show details or accessories that could be different from those of your machine, some
components could be removed, in order to assure the clearness of the pictures.
Some signal words are put on the machine and the operator shall see to keep them in a perfect visual
condition, replacing them when they are not readable anymore.

of the machine. Therefore, it is necessary to observe all the written rules.
We recommended to use the original spare parts and accessories. The not original parts,

2.2. INFORMATION ON THE MACHINE
The models introduced in this manual have been designed and made exclusively allowing the
distribution of solid, granular fertilizers and of seeds in the field. Their use is particularly indicated
for the gardening and for golf courses. These machines are usually used during the day. If it is
required the nocturnal use or with poor visibility, it must use the lighting system of the tractor or of
the equipment to which the machine is connected.
A different use, like the above mentioned one is considered improper. Any arbitrary
modification made to this machine relieve the manufacturer from any responsibility for
damages or lesions, also serious, that can be caused to the operators, to third parties or to
things.
2.2.1. NAME PLATE
On the hopper of every machine bringing back nameplate is fixed one the model, the number of series
and the year of construction of the machine.
When some spare parts are required, it always necessary to refer to the type of machine, to
the serial number and to the manufacturing year.
2.2.2. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MACHINE
The pull-type spreader mod. PTP has a distributor of fertilizer completely in stainless steel equipped
with a spreader disc with four adjustable vanes in four different positions, in order to obtain the
maximum spreading precision and uniformity in the distribution, depending on the kind of product that
must be spreaded.

The feeding of the disc is by gravity through an opening, located on the bottom of the hopper, inside
of which a mix/agitator is applied, in order to prevent the fertilizer lumps formation.
A sheet case is placed in front of the disc, in order to prevent the spreading in the front side of the
machine.
The fertilizer delivery is controlled by properly opening of the shutters in the hopper bottom, through
lock devices operated by a levers. The fertilizer spreader and the agitator are connected through a
gear box with the wheels, so as to allow a speed of the disc, directly proportionate to the speed of
the machine. The switch on and off the motion is made putting or removing the split pin on the axle.
The machines can be set, on demand, with a ball hitch 45 millimetres (1"7/8) or 50 millimetres (2").
An adjustable tongue in height can be assembled on all models for keeping the disc parallel to the
field.
The hardiness of the steel welded frame, together with the remarkable life of the plastic hopper, lets
to obtain a highest quality level of the pull type spreaders.
The painting is made by an epoxy varnish with successive backing at 150°c with the application of the
primer bath, assuring a great protection and long life of the machine.

3. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
THE FOLLOWING SAFETY RECCOMENDATIONS ARE TO SAFEGUARD YOUR INCOLUMITY:
THEREFORE IT IS NECESSARY TO READ THEM CAREFULLY, MEMORIZING AND ALWAYS
APPLYING THEM.
The present warnings in this manual regard exclusively the allowed uses and reasonably
foreseeable. All below instructions must be integrated by the common sense and by the
experience of who works, indispensable measures to prevent accidents.
The machine must be used by a single operator. It is forbidden the use of the machine to under-ages.
All the listed instructions must be carefully respected.
Possible changes on the machine not preventively authorized by the manufacturer (by written copy),
exclude his responsibility.
Check the correct functioning of the machine, before every employment.
General advices
• Read carefully this manual before proceeding to start, operate, employ or maintenance
on the machine.
• Watch, in addition to the warnings of this manual, all the safety , accident prevention rules and
of general nature.
• The manual must always be handy , so as to consult it, in order to check the working cycle and
safety information. In case of loss or damage, it will be necessary to ask for a substitutive copy.
ATTENTION!
Any work of maintenance, regulation and cleaning must be done with the
machine on the ground (in stable conditions), turning off the tractor engine
and removing the key.
• Read carefully the safety signal words applied on the machine and follow the instructions.
In case of wear and tear or insufficient readability of the safety signal words, clean them up or
replace them, placing the signal words in the right position, as shown in paragraph 3.1.
ATTENTION! - WARNING!
The operator, during the period of use,
maintenance, repair, handling or storing of
the machine, must wear accidentprevention shoes and safety gloves. Moreover, if it is necessary that he wears suitable
hearing protections such as earmuffs or earplugs, dust masks and protective glasses.
• During loading phase, there is the danger of powders inhalation produced by fertilizer mix ing. It is
suggested to use tractors with filters on the ventilation system of the cabin, to use suitable safety
systems of breathing, like powder masks or masks with filter.
• The machine is designed for being used by a single operator who, during the use, must always stay
in the stationing control on tractor.
• Never work with this machine if you are tired, sick or after having took drinks, drugs or medicines.

DANGER! It is forbidden to climb or to transport somebody when the
machine is in motion. Do not let inside the hopper for any reason.
• Keep the machine cleaned up from foreign bodies (detritus, tools, miscellaneous),as they could
damage the operations or the operator. Generally the fertilizers are rather corrosive. For
this reason, it is important that any particle of the fertilizer stay in the machine for a long
period of time. Clean the hopper and the distributor after each use of the machine.
• If during cleaning operations it is used air or water with pressure, it is necessary to wear glasses
and safety masks keeping away possible persons or animals from the machine.
• Before connecting the machine to the tractor or to other self-moving means check that this is in
good conditions and that brakes work correctly, especially if you work on sloping grounds.
• Switch off the machine from tractor only on a compact and level ground (with empty hopper),
checking that the machine is stable.
WARNING!
During transport operations, stocking and employment of the fertilizers,
the operators must follow all the label indications and particularly to the
content of the written risks and the precaution suggestions.
ATTENTION!
The Manufacturer does not answer to possible damages caused by a
improper and unforeseen use of the machine.
The Manufacturer is not responsible in case of:
- improper use of the machine, use by not trained staff;
- serious deficiencies in the foreseen maintenance;
- changes or not allowed interventions;
- use of not original or specific spare parts ;
- total or partial inobservance of the instructions;
- inobservance of the common safety rules during work;
- unusual cases.

Operation of the machine
• Make a check of the machine before switching it on. Start to work only if the machine is in perfect
conditions.
• Before using the machine, please be sure that all the safety devices are correctly placed and in
good state; in case of breakdowns or damages to the protections, please replace them
immediately.
ATTENTION!
During work, please be sure that for a radius of 50 meters there are not
any person or animals. When you work in proximity of roads or public
places, it is ABSOLUTELY OBLIGATORY to keep away persons and to
increase the precautions.
ATTENTION!
Anybody who comes up to the machine is in a danger area, therefore he
becomes "AN EXPOSED PERSON". The operator must prevent anybody to
come into the danger area and to work with the maximum caution. If
somebody comes up, please stop immediately the tractor engine.
• Before every use of the pull type spreader, please always check the wear of the vanes and of the
spreader disc. Check that all the fixing components (screws, bolts etc.) are in and fixed.
• The machine must not never be unattended when it is moving.
• Keep always the machine in good operating conditions and make regularly the maintenance.
Transfer on the road
ATTENTION!
Please follow scrupulously the Highway code in force in the country of use.
During moves on public roads, it is obligatory to empty the hopper.
Remember that during moving on public roads, special attention must be done, besides to possible
and special regulations noted on the registration book of the tractor, choosing an appropriate speed
especially when the street is crowded, winding or sloping. If the pull type spreader hides, with its
shape, the back signalling lights of the tractor, it is necessary
to put a lights bar and/or some back signalling signs.
During the moving on the road, the gearbox must not be
switched on. Switch off the mechanical block from the tyres
axle, as shown in the picture.

3.1. SAFETY SIGNALS
ATTENTION!
Be sure that the safety labels are readable. Clean them up using a cloth,
water and soap. Replace the damaged labels placing them in the right
position, as subsequently described.
The safety signs on the machine supply the most important indications: their observance helps your
safeness.
1. ATTENTION! Before making any operation on the machine, stop the
engine of the tractor or of the self-moving means, remove the key, put
on the parking brake and read carefully the operator’s manual.
2. ATTENTION! - DANGER! Possible throwing of material and/or objects,
please do not stop or come up to the machine. Keep a safety distance
of 50 meters, at least, from the machine.
3. ATTENTION! - DANGER! Forbidden to go inside the hopper or to
transport somebody with the machine.
4. ATTENTION! Use the Devices of individual
Protection required.

4. PULL TYPE SPREADER USE
ATTENTION! Before use, please check that gears are adequately greased
( see paragraph 5.1).
ATTENTION! During the use of the machine, please be sure that for a
radius of 50 meters there are not any person or animals. If somebody
comes up, please stop immediately the tractor engine.
Recommendations for a correct distribution
• Please test always the kg/ha that you wish to spread before starting to work.
• Use a fertilizer in perfect conditions: a humid fertilizer could not be spreaded uniformly and
correctly.
• Avoid to spread the fertilizer during windy days, in order to improve the uniformity of the
distribution.
4.1. Connections
The pull type spreaders mod. PTP can be hitched to every type of tractor or atv-quad with ball of 45
millimetres (13/4") or 50 millimetres (2"). To make the connection, it is necessary to put the ball hitch
in the coupler on the pull type spreader, locking it pushing the lock handle towards the bottom.
Check and regulate the length of the regulation tongue rod,
so that the spreader disc is, as
parallel as possible, to the ground, in order to get a uniform and regular distribution of the
fertilizer.
Unscrew the locking bolt, as shown with the arrow in the picture below and move the rod in the
optimal position, in correspondence of the present holes and lock the bolt in the new position.

4.2. Adjustments
It is not possible to have an exact spreading chart for equipment that make use of the centrifugal
principle, as the distributed quantity depends on the speed, on the radius of distribution, on the
quality and humidity of the fertilizer and on the roughness of the land. The fertilizer must always be
stored and conserved adequately, so as to keep its physical characteristics unchanged. It is necessary
to set the speed of the pull type spreader, before starting the operation of distribution, trying, in the
possible limits, to keep it constant for all its duration. The spreading charts contain
the indicative
information
, in order to determine the quantity to spread in the field; these must be completed by
the experience and competence of the operator
.
4.2.1. HOW TO ADJUST THE SPREADER VANES
In order to assure a homogenous distribution on both sides of the centrifugal pull type spreader,
depending on the different specific weight of the used fertilizer, the distributor vanes on the disc can
have different positions. When all the vanes are put in hole 1 (as shown in the picture), the
distribution of the product is increased towards left, compared to the way of the tractor moving. On
the contrary, if the vanes are put in hole 4, the distribution will be more towards right. Moreover,
moving the vanes from position 1 to position 4, on the same speed, there will be an increase of the
distributing width of fertilizer distribution. This regulation must be made compared to the type of used
fertilizer and to the experience of the operator.

operator’s experience.

4.2.2. HOW TO ADJUST THE SPREADING
The fertilizer spreading is regulated through the regulation lever that moves the opening section on
the bottom of the hopper. In order to carry out the regulation, after having consulted the spreading
table, according to the type of product to spread and to the ATV speed , it is necessary to move the
lever
"A" along the graduated scale "E" and blocking it in the chosen position with the pin "D".
In order to spread from both sides (ref. I),
"A" and "B" levers must be in the same position, connected
through grip handle "C". In order to carry out the spreading only through the left side (ref. II), it is
necessary to disconnect the two levers removing the “C” grip handle, to set the lever "B" in the
chosen position, given by the spreading chart, and to bring the lever
"A" towards the higher part
(position 1) in order to close the shutter of the right side. In order to spread only on to the right side
(ref. III) you have to move the lever "B" up, (in position 1) and regulate the quantity to spread with
the lever
"A".

4.3. HOPPER LOAD
It is advised not to carry out the hopper loading manually but using a lifter or suitable mechanical
means.
ATTENTION! The hopper must be loaded only after having hitched the
spreader to ATV
.
Do not drive for very long distances with a full load and do not put full bags on the fertiliser loaded in
the hopper during the transport to the field or during the working, in order not to overload the capacity
of the machine and to compress the fertilizer.
WARNING! During the operations of transport, stock and the use of
fertilizers, the operator must be behaved in compliance with the indications
on the label of the product and in particular with the content of the
sentences of risk and the precaution advices
.
4.4. SPREADING OF THE FERTILIZER IN THE FIELD
ATTENTION! - WARNING! The
operator, during the period of use,
maintenance, repair, transport or
storing of the machine, must wear accident-prevention shoes and gloves of security. If
it is necessary, he will have, moreover, to wear headset, mask and glasses
.
After having hitched the machine to the tractor and having carried out the necessary regulations, it is
possible to begin to work.
ATTENTION! Before getting off from the ATV and before every operation of
maintenance and regulation, set in action the parking brake, turn off the
engine and to remove the ignition key from the dashboard and await the
stop of all the moving parts.
Engage the axle with the pin, so that the spreader can be set
in action by the turning wheels, only in the moment in which
the spreading operation has to be carried out.

Various ways exist to spread the fertilizer in the field. One of the simplest methods is, as follows:
• Positioning the ATV at the beginning of the field you intend to fertilise, to a distance (D/2) that is
the half of the working width that is used (point 1);
• Driving in the field distributing the fertilizer on all the perimeter;
• Stopping the tractor at one distance (D) from the point 1, equivalent to the set working width (point
2);
• Beginning the spreading proceeding in line, straight to point 3.
• Turn the tractor and drive a D distance, equal to the working width (point 4);
• Repeat such procedure until all the plot will be covered.

4.4.1. SPREADING MISTAKES
Mistakes of use
• Drive speed;
• Incorrect spreading width;
• The spreading disc is not in a horizontal position compared to the land;
• Drive speed is different to those suggested by the spreading tables, or however not suitable for
that particular type of fertilizer;
• Drive mistakes (lack of superimposition of the spreading surfaces);
• Lack of cleaning of distributing discs.
Mistakes due to the fertilizer
• Fertilizer of poor quality.
• Wet or excessive humid fertilizer;
• Incorrect fertilizer composition or it does not correspond to what declared from the vendor;
• Presence of excessive fertilizer lumps or with particular great dimensions that influence negatively
on the yield of the spreading;
• Foreign body in the fertilizer.
Mistakes due to the spreader.
• Spreading exits clogged;
• Parts of the spreading disc worn away or damaged.

5. GENERAL MAINTENANCE
The ordinary maintenance criteria we suggest, are based on the company experience and on the
advices and suggestions from our customers. Such criteria are not exhaustive can be further
integrated also with the collaboration of the customers that we thanks in advance. A good ordinary
maintenance maintains the operating costs of the machine low and provide an integral exploitation
of its potentialities.
ATTENTION! Whichever work of maintenance, regulation and cleaning
must be carried out with the machine on the ground (in stability
conditions), engine turned off, handbrake set, key of ignition off and
removed from the ignition board.
In damage case, the operator must stop the machine immediately, assess the entity of the
problem and proceed with eventual actions on the machine.
If pressure water or compressed air
is used for the cleaning of the machine, it is necessary to protect oneself with proper glasses or
protection masks and to remove eventual persons or animals near the machine. Do not use
inflammable fluids.
ATTENTION! For the maintenance operations, always use the fit Individual
Protection Devices (accident-prevention footwear and gloves) and to
prepare all the accident-prevention steps for the type of operation in
course.
Every 8 hours of effective job, control the tightness of all nuts and bolts.
In case of anomalous vibrations, verify the status of wear of the vanes of the spreading disc, the
corrected tightness of all the nuts and bolts and the lubrication of the gear box. The excessive
vibration of the machine, besides the specific annoyance, is dangerous and damaging for the entire
structure subjecting the mechanical parts to more and more stress cycles compared to the advice
pictures.
As regards particular actions that the user does not know or regarding broken parts replacing which
are not shown in this manual, it is necessary to consult specialised personnel, making use of the
Assistance service by the manufacturer or its distributors.

5.1 LUBRICATION
Before every use and after every 8 hours of effective work, carry out the greasing of the
machine. It is a good use that the greasing nipples are well cleaned up
from mud or other residuals before using them for inject lubricating
grease. Lubricate with lithium grease the points, shown in the picture.
5.2 REPLACEMENT OF THE SPREADER VANES
In case the spreading vanes of the disc brake or get
damaged, it is necessary to substitute them with new
ones. Unscrew the nut and replace the damaged vane.
The fixing items (nuts and bolts) must be of the same type
of those prescribed from the manufacturer.
5.3. STORAGE
It is a good use not to wait for to using the machine to carry
out repairing and maintenance. To repair and to replace
the parts that are broken or damaged before the storage, in
order to have always the machine ready for being used. To
store the machine in a sheltered place away from
atmospheric agents and protect it in order to avoid deteriorations.
The fertilizers are generally
corrosive. For this reason it is important that no particles of fertiliser remains on the
machine for long period of time.
Before storing the machine for long periods, it is opportune to
operate as follows:
- accurately wash the machine and the inside of the hopper;
- to carry out a general control by sight of the machine in order to check eventual structural damages,
to find eventual deep abrasions on the paint;
- to verify that the safety pictograms are presents in their positions, that they are integral and
readable, and in case they are deteriorated or unreadable, carry out immediately their substitution
(see par. 3,1);
- to grease all the mechanical parts (to see par. 5,1);
- store, if possible, the machine in a sheltered place.
5.4 SPARE PARTS
For the replacement of parts of the centrifugal pull type spreader Mod. PTP, the customer must use
just original parts, ordering them directly to the manufacturer of the machine to authorized dealers.
Carrying out the order, it is necessary to specify what the identification label brings, in particular:
- serial number;
- model;
- manufacturing year;
- number of frame.

6. WARRANTY
All the manufactured machines, shown in this manual, are sold with one warranty valid for
a year from the delivery date
, subject to the following clauses:

In case a defect in a part is found (or in some parts) during a period of a year from the delivery
date of the machine to the customer, the dealer commits himself to verify the defective part and,
in case in the course of this verification it is assessed a defect which is due to the materials or to
the manufacturing, he will repair the defective part or, to his discretion, to replace it free of charge.
◆
The customer, at the delivery, must control that the machine has not got damages during the
transport, that is in compliance with the one ordered and that is complete with all the accessories
got from the purchase contract. In the contrary case he must send a written claim within 8 days
from the reception of the it.
◆
The warranty is not applied in the following cases:
a) normal wear;
b) breaches or breaks deriving from negligence or due to the use of the machine in different
conditions of the ones permitted;
c) in case the machine has got unauthorized modifications (in written document) from the
manufacturer or if unoriginal spare parts and accessories were mounted;
d) when the serial number of the machine has been modified, removed or cancelled.
In any case purchaser has to face the wearable parts substitution, the labour, transport costs, the
eventual customs costs and the value-added tax. Every responsibility for direct or indirect damages
is declined when they are due to breaks or to the wear of the parts, the less for those deriving from
the proper or improper use of themselves.

Defects that are not clearly attributable to the material or to the manufacturing, will be checked
by our Technical Attendance Centre or by our warehouse. If the claim would turn out unjustified,
all the repair costs and/or substitution of the damaged parts will be debited to the purchaser.
◆
All the parts will be billed at the shipment time and at the eventual acknowledgment of the
guarantees (previous receipt and check of the damaged parts). This will give the right to get the
credit.
The manufacturer or its retailer will not be responsible of the loss, neither of the damage, whichever
it is and in whichever way it happened during the transport. The aforementioned commitment refers
to the person of the customer and it cannot be yielded or be transmitted to others.
