Thank you for choosing a Cosatto product. Please take a little time to read the important safety notes detailed below. This will ensure many years of happy, safe use.
The instruction manual should be kept safely with child car seat for its life period: There is a pocket at the rear of the child car seat for storage of the instruction manual.
This product is only compatible with Giggle 2 in 1 combi (sold separately). When car seat is used in conjunction with the chassis (Sold separately), this product does
not replace a cot or a bed. Should your child need to sleep, then it should be placed in suitable cot, bed or carry cot.

WARNING: A CHILDS SAFETY IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
This child car seat has been approved for mass group 0+ which is suitable for transportation in cars of children from birth up to 13 kg (approximately 15 months old).

WARNING: NEVER use this child car seat on side facing vehicle seat.
WARNING: NEVER use this child car seat on passenger seat fitted
with active airbag.
WARNING: NEVER leave your child unattended, even for the
shortest time.
WARNING: ALWAYS secure your child with the safety harness
when using this child car seat.
WARNING: DO NOT attempt to dismantle, modify or add to any part of the child car seat or change the way your vehicle seat belts are made or used.
WARNING: Any rigid items and plastic parts of the child car seat must be so located and installed that they are not liable, during everyday use of the vehicle, to become trapped by a movable seat or in a door of vehicle.
WARNING: If any load bearing points other than those described in the instructions are used, this can significantly reduce the protection factor of the child car seat.
GB
WARNING: DO NOT use the child car seat in the home. It has not
been designed for home use and should only be used in your car.
The child car seat must always be placed in a rearward facing position.
Always make sure that the child car seat harness and vehicle belt are correctly
tensioned and should not be twisted to ensure maximum protection for your child.
The buckle has been designed to be released quickly in an emergency. IT IS NOT
CHILD PROOF. More inquisitive children might learn to undo the buckle. Children
should be told never to play with it or any other part of the child car seat.
Never use replacement parts other than those approved by Cosatto.
The lap belt must be worn in such a way as to properly secure the pelvis of the child.
Never use the child car seat without its fabric seat cover because the seat cover constitutes as an integral part of the child car seat performance. The seat cover should not be replaced with any other than the ones recommended by Cosatto.
Never leave raincover on indoors, in a hot atmosphere or near a heat source as your child could overheat.
Safely secure any luggage and other objects that might cause injury to the occupant of the child car seat in the event of a crash.
Do not place anything such as a towel or cushion under the child car seat. This could affect the performance of the child car seat in an accident.
After an accident, replace your child car seat and the vehicle seat belts. Although they may look undamaged, they may not protect your child as well as they should.
Cosatto advises that child car seats should not be brought or sold second-hand. Many seats sold through local advertising and car-boot sales have been found to be dangerous.
Prevent harness/vehicle belt from getting trapped between car doors or rubbing against sharp parts of the seat or body.
If the harness/vehicle belts becomes cut or frayed, replace it before travelling.
Cover the child car seat if it is left in direct sun light for prolonged period as the child car seat surfaces may get very hot. Check the child car seat surface before placing your child in the seat.
Security is only guaranteed if the child car seat is fitted in accordance with these instructions.
Failure to comply with the above instructions will automatically void the warranty and exempt Cosatto from any liability.

WARNING: Your child car seat can only be installed rearward facing using a three point lap and diagonal belt in the front or rear passenger seats of the car.
3 - general harness adjustment
It is recommended to adjust the harness length to fit your child, before installing the child car seat into the car.
To tighten the shoulder straps, pull the webbing at the end of the system (a) until achieving the fit and tension required.
To loosen off the shoulder straps push inwards the release catch under the flap (b) and pull forward the shoulder straps (c) with the other hand keeping the catch pushed down. Releasing the catch will secure the harness in place.
NOTE: The harness must be reasonably tight. It should restrain but not make the child uncomfortable.
Check that the straps are not twisted while the child is seated.
4 - fastening harness buckle
Fit the two shoulder strap buckle parts together (a) and push into the crotch fitting (b) until a firm click is heard. To open press the RED button (c).
5 - adjusting the shoulder strap and crotch strap position
The shoulder straps must be threaded through the slots in the child seat liner, child seat cover and the child seat shell nearest the top of the child shoulders. If in any doubt always use the slot above the shoulder rather than below it.
Loosen off the shoulder straps push inwards the release catch under the flap (a) and pull forward the shoulder straps (b). Remove the shoulder straps off the harness connector (c) at the rear of the seat.
Pull the child seat liner forward and pull the ends of the shoulder straps through the slots in the seat (d).
There are four height positions for the shoulder straps. Push the ends of the shoulder
straps through the required slots in the seat (e) then refasten the shoulder strap ends to the harness connector.
There are two positions for the crotch strap. To move the crotch strap, release the crotch strap clip underneath the child car seat (f) and push the clip through the slot in the child car seat and child car seat liner (g). Refit the Crotch strap by pushing the crotch strap clip through the desired slot (h). Open out the crotch strap clip and pull back on the strap to locate the clip to the bottom of the seat.
6 - correct position of shoulder straps
Adjust the height of the shoulder straps so they are level with, or just below child shoulders. If in any doubt always use the slot above the shoulder rather than below it.
7 - changing the handle position
The handle can be placed in 4 different positions:
1. Fitted in the vehicle position
2. Carrying position
3. Stow position
4. Steady position To change positions, push the button (a) on both sides of the handle and move the
handle rearward or forward.
8 - securing your child car seat
Put the handle in the position for fitting the child car seat to the vehicle (Position 1 in Step 7). Place the child car seat onto the vehicle seat - rearward facing. Pass the lap strap of the vehicle safety belt through the front strap guides (a). The lap strap should fit below the blue stickers on the front strap guides. Pass the vehicle seat diagonal belt through the guide on the back of the child car seat (b). The blue sticker on the guide should be visible when the diagonal belt is fitted. Ensure the strap fits under the handle (c). Tighten by pulling the diagonal vehicle seatbelt that normally travels across the passenger’s chest and fasten the vehicle seat belt (d). Ensure that the child car seat is secure. IMPORTANT: The position of the seat belt/lap strap buckle can affect the stability of the child car seat. In an accident this could stop the child car seat from protecting your child as well as it should. If, when the seat belt/lap strap belt is properly tightened, the buckle lies in the position marked then try fitting the child car seat in another seating position in your vehicle.
9 - fitting and using the hood
Noting the orientation of the hood bar (a), fit the hood by pushing the arms into the hood hinges on each side of the seat (b) until they lock in place, secure the hood fabric to the hood by fastening the press stud on both both side (c).
Removal of the hood is the reversal of this procedure. Before adjusting the hood, put the carry handle in the vertical position. Raise the hood
until it locks in the up position (d). Push the hood back to lower (e).
10 - removing the harness and child car seat liner
Loosen off the shoulder straps push inwards the release catch under the flap (a) and pull forward the shoulder straps (b). Remove the shoulder straps off the harness connector (c) at the rear of the seat. Pull the ends of the shoulder straps through the slots in the seat.
Release the crotch strap clip underneath the child car seat (d) and push the clip through the slot in the child car seat and child car seat liner (e).
Remove one of the chest pads and pull the shoulder strap out of the buckle (f). Lift the seat cover where the waist straps fit through the child car seat. Pull the shoulder strap/ waist strap through the seat cover and the underside of the seat (g). Keep pulling the shoulder strap/waist strap from the seat and seat cover until it is clear of the seat (h).
Release the catch (a) then pull the harness adjuster strap out of the rear of the seat (i). Refitting is a reversal of this procedure.
11 - fitting the raincover
Place the raincover over the child car seat as shown. There is a flap, fastened by a Velcro
®
tab, at the top of the raincover (a) to allow access
to the carry handle. Never leave raincover on indoors, in a hot atmosphere or near a heat source as your child
could overheat.
12 - removing the child car seat cover
Remove the harness and child car seat liner (See step 10). Pull the elastic bead on the child seat cover away from the child car seat (a). Unhook the child seat cover (b) From under the vehicle seat belt guides (c). Work around the edge of the child car seat until the cover can be pulled clear.
care
Your child car seat has been designed to meet safety standards and with correct use and maintenance will give many years of trouble free performance.
Storing a damp child car seat will encourage mildew to form. After exposure to damp conditions, dry off with a soft cloth and allow to dry thoroughly
before storing. Store your child car seat in a dry, safe place. Leaving the child car seat in sunlight for prolonged periods may cause fabrics to fade.
maintenance
Inspect the child car seat regularly for signs of damage- stop using the product if any of the component have become damaged.
When fitted to vehicle seat, check the fitting child car seat regularly to ensure the fitting is in good tension and the vehicle belt & harness are not objected nor twisted.
DO NOT take apart, or attempt to take apart, any of the harness when cleaning the harness and seat. It is unnecessary and dangerous to do so.
Food and drink may find their way inside the buckle of the harness. This can stop it working properly.
cleaning
Clean the harness buckle with mild hand soap and water. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Latch and unlatch the tongues of the buckle several times until a strong click is heard. If you cannot hear a strong click run it under warm water to rinse again.
If the harness/ vehicle belts becomes cut or frayed, replace it before travelling. Plastic and metal parts may be sponged clean with warm water and a mild detergent. Never clean with abrasive, ammonia based, bleach based or spirit type cleaners.
