user guide
n
This car seat has been designed and approved for children from birth to 15 months old (up to a weight of 13 kg).
n
The safety seat must always be placed in a rearward facing position.
n
After an accident replace your car seat and the car seat belts. Although they may look undamaged, they may not protect your child as well as they should.
n
In an emergency, the buckle has been designed to be released quickly. IT IS NOT CHILD PROOF. More inquisitive children might learn to undo the buckle. Children should be told never to play with it or any other part of the seat.
n
WARNING: When using the car seat ALWAYS use the safety harness to secure your infant, regardless of how it is being used.
washing instructions
n
To clean the harness and plastics, sponge with warm water. Do not use chemical cleaners or bleach. Allow to dry naturally.
n
The cover can be wiped clean using a damp cloth and a mild detergent.
n
The cover is removable for cleaning if necessary.
The replacement parts listed below are available for your product. In the event that you require any of these parts, please contact your local store or contact us at www.spares@supercover.co.uk

safety: take note
important safety points - don'ts
n
NEVER use the car seat on passenger seats fitted with an airbag.
n
DON’T leave children unattended in your car, even for the shortest time. Children should not play with the car seat.
n
DON’T leave loose objects in the back of the car. If the car has to stop suddenly, these objects will continue moving and can cause serious injuries. The larger the object the greater the risk.
n
DON’T make unauthorised alterations to any part of the seat or car seat belt.
n
DON’T put anything underneath your car seat . In a crash it could fly out making the webbing slack and creating a hazard for other passengers.
n
DON’T carry children in the luggage area behind the rear seat in a hatchback or an estate car unless specially designed for the purpose.
n
DON’T leave your car seat unsecured in a car. Your car seat must always be secured by the car seat belt.
n
DON’T leave your car seat in direct sunlight for long periods of time as the fabric colour may fade.
n
DON’T use second hand products when it comes to safety.
n
DON’T use the car seat without the fabric cover.
n
DON’T allow the straps to become twisted when in use.
n
DON’T use any seat cover other than those recommended by Cosatto, as the cover constitutes an integral part of the restraint
performance.
important safety points - do’s
n
DO read these instructions before fitting the car seat in your car so that you may be familiar with it and avoid any dangerous misuse.
n
DO use extreme caution when installing this device, since the correct installation can aid the safety of your child in case of an accident. Follow these instructions carefully.
n
DO take care to locate and install the car seat so that it is not liable, during everyday use, to become trapped by a movable seat or in a door of the vehicle.
n
DO make sure that the harness is properly adjusted at all times and that the straps are not twisted.
n
DO protect any metal parts that may come in contact with your child against heating up in the sun.
n
DO put the lightest passenger behind the front seat on which a car seat is used. When rear seat belts are not fitted, a light passenger will cause less injury than a heavy one in the event of an accident.
n
DO store your car seat in a safe place when not being used. Avoid putting heavy things on top of it.
n
DO always check the security of your car seat before each journey.
n
DO regularly check all child restraints for wear and tear.
n
DO make sure that folding rear seats are securely latched and any load in the boot is secure.
