
INSTALLATION
HANDSET BATTERY
1 Open the battery cover by gently
pressing down on the cover
while sliding it off.
2 Plug the battery pack connector
into the socket in the battery
compartment, as shown.
Place the battery pack with
the wires over the pack in
the compartment.
Place handset in the charging stand and leave it until the battery pack is fully charged
(about 24 hours).
You will need to register the handset separately.
Handset Registration
Place the handset in the base (not the charging stand). You’ll know the handset is
registered when the In Use light on the base flashes and the handset beeps.
NOTE: Press and listen for a dial tone after registration. If you don’t hear a dial tone,
try the registration again.
Transferring a Call
NOTE: Each handset must be assigned a different handset number for this feature to
work. The feature will not work if you transfer the call to a number not assigned to
the other handset.
1 While on a call, press and hold until the screen displays
2 Enter the number (1-4) of the handset to which you are transferring the call.
3 Press . The handset where the call is being transferred rings.
4 Press any key on the receiving handset to answer the transferred call.
