Thank you for your choice in purchasing a Core SWX Lithium Ion Battery Pack. The battery is designed to improve and assist you in your mobile powering requirements. Please read this manual to help you understand and capitalize on the features of this battery.
Features:
• On-Board Microprocessor stores: Name, Serial Number, Voltage, Temperature, Current, Chemistry Type, Charge Cycles, and Date of Manufacturing. When used with a Core SWX digital charger, this information can be displayed.
• The Viewfinder Capacity Display communicates with the camera to display your remaining battery capacity in your camera’s viewfinder.
• model adds support for battery capacity display in

RED Cameras.
• Four Stage, accurate, LED power gauge.
• Temperature, current, and voltage protection.
• Incorporated 2-pin powertap provides unregulated power,
and 5v, 2A USB.
Hi-Draw Capabilities:
• The Core Nano line is unique in that the packs can sustain up to 10A loads for continuous discharge. To keep the packs working at optimal performance, we recommend monitoring discharge when the battery packs get close to EOD(end of discharge). If monitoring via voltage, this would be near 13v. The key to maximum service life is proper usage.
• Upon full (high load) discharge, we recommend allowing the pack to cool for 30min. prior to recharge. Should the draw be lower(5A/60w for example), you may recharge after usage.

Charging in any other conditions will not allow the
battery to reach maximum charge capacity.
Discharging the battery:
• Maximum continous discharge is 10A(120w) for the NANO Micro packs. .
• The 2-pin connector can be used to simultaneouly power a camera and a 12vdc accessory. However, prior to using this option combine the total draw of the camera and accessory to make sure you are not drawing more than the recommended discharge amount.
The power gauge’s accuracy is dependent upon a full charge and discharge. At least once every 2 months the battery should be fully discharged and charged so the battery can relearn the capacity of the battery.
Storage:
• Store the battery 25% charged in an environment between 10 C ~ 30 C.
o o
Every 2 months the battery should be
charged due to minimal self-discharge.
Notes On Use:
• An increase in temperature is normal during charging and discharging.
• Make sure to keep battery contacts clean.
• Do not attempt to disassemble the battery. Please contact
Core SWX for any service issues.
• Keep batteries seperated when transporting.
