The exclamation point within an equilateral
triangle is intended to alert the user to the
presence of important operating and
maintenance (servicing) instructions in the
literature accompanying the product.
The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol,
within an equilateral triangle, is intended
to alert the user to the presence of
uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within
the product’s enclosure that may be of
sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of
electric shock to persons.

1. Read these instructions before using this
product.
2. Keep these instructions.
3. Heed all warnings.
4. Follow all instructions.
5. Do not use this apparatus near water
when using AC power.
6. Clean only with a dry cloth when using AC
power.
7. Do not block any ventilation openings.
Install in accordance with the
manufacturer’s instructions.
8. Do not install near any heat sources such
as radiators, heat registers, stoves or
other apparatus (including amplifiers) that
produce heat.
9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the
polarized or grounding-type plug. A
polarized plug has two blades with one
wider than the other. A grounding-type
plug has two blades and a third grounding
prong. The wide blade or the third prong
is provided for your safety. If the provided
plug does not fit into your outlet, consult
an electrician for replacement of the
obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked
on or pinched, particularly at plugs,
convenience receptacles and the point
where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories
specified by the manufacturer.
12. Unplug this apparatus during lightning
storms or when unused for long periods of
time.
13. Refer all servicing to qualified service
personnel. Servicing is required when
the apparatus has been damaged in any
way, such as power supply cord or plug
is damaged, liquid has been spilled or
objects have fallen into the apparatus, the
apparatus has been exposed to rain or
moisture, does not operate normally, or
has been dropped.
14. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock,
do not expose this apparatus to rain or
moisture when using AC power.
15. When using AC power, do not expose
this apparatus to dripping or splashing
and ensure that no objects filled with
liquids, such as vases, are placed on the
apparatus.
16. To completely disconnect this apparatus
from the AC Mains, disconnect the power
supply cord plug from the AC receptacle.
17. The power supply cord (sometimes
referred to as the “Mains Plug”) is used
as the disconnect device and shall remain
accessible and operable at all times.
18. Do not expose batteries to excessive heat
such as sunshine, fire or the like.
19. Open flame sources, such as lighted
candles, should NOT be placed on the
apparatus.

White: Speaker is On.
LED White flash: Battery is charging.
LED Red flash: Battery has less than
10 percent charge remaining.
Off: Speaker is off.
White: Bluetooth is enabled and/or
successfully paired.
White flash: Speaker is in pairing
mode.
Off: Bluetooth is disabled.
White: SKAA wireless enabled. Speaker
is set up to search for and operate
with Batons already configured with
the speaker and currently stored in the
speaker’s Favorites list.
Amber: Speaker is set up to search for
and operate with new Batons that have
not been configured with the speaker.
Red flash: Baton has been removed
from the speaker’s Favorites list.
Off: SKAA wirelesss is disabled.
Increases speaker volume.
Decreases speaker volume.
Note: Press volume up and volume down
simultaneously to mute sound. Press either button
again to unmute sound.
White: Speakerphone is enabled.
Red flash: Speakerphone microphone
is muted.
Off: Speakerphone is disabled.
Note: Speakerphone requires Bluetooth
to be enabled.

Congratulations! You have purchased one of
the most advanced mobile wireless speakers
supporting next generation wireless audio technology. Your Korus M20 speaker supports two
wireless technologies: SKAA™, a new wireless
audio technology offering higher performance
and quality, and Bluetooth
®
. Baton wireless
transmitters are used to enable SKAA with your
mobile devices and computers.

Setting Up Your First Baton
It is recommended to fully charge the battery
before first time use. First time charging will take
approximately 2-3 hours. The Power button light
flashes white while charging and stops flashing
once charging is complete.
1. Plug in your speaker, if necessary.
2. Power on your device. The Connect button
light should be amber.
3. Plug your Baton into your device.
Note: For the 30-pin connector Baton, you will
automatically be taken to the App Store. Download
and open the Korus volume control app for your mobile
device.
Note: The Korus volume control app needs to be open
(but can be minimized) when you are using the 30-pin
connector Baton.
4. Begin playing your music, video, or game.
Note: The Baton has a typical range of up to 85 feet
(26 meters) indoors. If the Baton is out of range, the
speaker stops playing. When the Baton is back in
range, the speaker starts playing automatically.
You can use a speaker individually or up to 4
speakers simultaneously to stream audio in
multiple rooms or outdoors...

Adding a New Baton to the
Speaker’s Favorites List
1. Plug in your
speaker, if
necessary.
2. Plug your
Baton into
your device.
3. Begin playing
your music,
video, or
game.
4. Press the
speaker’s
Connect
button twice to
search for the
new Baton.
When in
search mode,
the Connect
button
light turns
amber. When
the Baton
connects with the speaker, the light turns
bright amber.
5. Press and hold the speaker’s Connect button
to add the Baton to the speaker’s Favorites
list. When the Baton has been added to the
Favorites list, the Connect button light turns
bright white.
Each speaker can remember up to 10 Batons in
its Favorites list.
Note: To remove an active Baton from the speaker’s
Favorites list, press and hold the speaker’s Connect
button. The light flashes red when the Baton has been
removed.
Note: To return to the original factory state, press the
speaker’s Connect button six times. This will clear the
speaker’s Favorites list.
Switching Between Previously
Configured Batons
1. Plug in your speaker, if necessary.
2. Plug your Baton into your device.
3. Begin playing your music, video, or game.
4. Press the speaker’s Connect button once
to search for a previously configured Baton.
When the Baton is connected with the
speaker, the Connect button light turns bright
white.
Note: Press the speaker’s Connect button four times
to start “Play All” mode. The Connect button light turns
red. The speaker will automatically connect with an active
Baton stored in the speaker’s Favorites list. Press the
Connect button again to disable “Play All” mode. The
Connect button light turns white.
Understanding Your SKAA
Wireless Range
Your Your Korus speaker can operate
over a high quality wireless
connection using the SKAA™
wireless audio standard. To ensure
optimal wireless range and
performance, please note the
following when using your Baton:
• Do not hold the Baton directly but rather hold
your mobile device.
• Avoid placing your mobile device with Baton in
a tight pocket.
• The orientation of your Korus speaker may
impact the wireless operating range.
• A room with dense WiFi traffic from many
wireless devices like routers and/or computers
could reduce the wireless range.
The typical indoor operating range for a mobile
Baton is 85 feet (26 meters). The typical indoor
operating range for the USB Baton is 98 feet (30
meters). Depending on your home construction,
you may experience shorter or farther operating
ranges.

Using the Korus Volume
Control App
You can adjust the volume
level of your Korus speaker
by using the hardware volume
buttons on the speaker or on
your mobile device, or use
the on-screen volume control
(varies by app).
Or, if you would like to individually control the volume
on up to 4 speakers you
can, using the Korus volume
control app with your mobile
devices! Simply search for the
free Korus volume control app on your mobile
device’s App store and download.
This app also allows you to label each speaker
or Baton to something that is meaningful to you.
Simply press “Tap to name this speaker” to label
the speaker or press “Tap to name this Baton” to
label the Baton.
Using the Baton Pass-Through
Charge Cable
(USB Charge Cable varies by model)
Use the USB charge cable to
charge your mobile device
without having to unplug your
Korus Baton.
Note: Your Korus charging cable is
for charging your mobile device. It is
not designed to support data sync
operations.
Note: The USB charge cable may
impact the wireless range between
your mobile device and the Korus
speakers up to 30%. You may notice
this impact if your Korus speakers are
farther than 25 feet from your mobile
device.
