With its simple joystick navigation, the menus
are quick and easy to navigate, saving time on
the task in hand.
Allowing Infrared vision with its super sensitive
80x60 thermal array as standard, provided 4800
individual measurement points on screen with a
temperature range of -10˚C (14˚F)
to +380˚C (716˚F).
No more messy cables, with the TOUGHPIX
DIGITHERM, wirelessly transfer both infrared
and visual images efficiently, even in the
hazardous area.
Not only is the TOUHGPIX DIGITHERM small and
compact we have made it really easy to carry
with our CorDEX wrist strap, which can be worn
on either the right or left hand side of the camera.

GETTING STARTEDTAKING PICTURES
Batter y Pack
Please ensure the batter y pack is
fully charged where possible for
optimum results and maximum
runtime. The bat tery pack is removed
and inser ted via the access door on
the base of t he camera. The bat tery
pack is charged using the docking
station supplied. Ref er to t he section
on battery pack operation for details.
Turning the Power ON/OFF
Use the power bu tton on the top of
the camera to turn the camera on
and of f. T he on but ton is identi fied
on the t op of the camera with the
ON/OFF symbol located next to
the shoot but ton.

Visible Imaging
Controls the VISIBLE imaging and capture modes.
• LED: flash operation options.
DISABLED: LED flash t urned OF F.
ENABLED: LED flash t urned ON.
AUTO: LED flash enabled dependent on ambient light.
• FLA SH CH ARG E STATUS: the top right of the display sh ows:
GREEN indicates fully charged.
RED indicates charging in progress.
• TIME LAPSE: Sets time period for delay from shoot-button activation.
TIME LA PS E PER IOD: single, 30 sec, 1 min, 2 min, 5 min.
ACTIVATION: S tar ted and s topped by the shoot-bu tton.
INDICATOR (top left): Shows current setting (in secon ds).
When runn ing shows the time to next image.
• TL THRESHOLD: Sets the temperature threshold for the time lapse to star t.
TEMPERATURE: Sets the thr eshold temper ature (-10˚C disables).
ACTIVATION: S tar ted and s topped by the shoot-bu tton.
To focus an image, po int t he camera at the target o f int ere st and the camer a will
automatically focus. Once the came ra is f ocused an d the image is clear, press the
shoo t button whilst the camera takes the shot.
HIGHLIGHT: Over lays highest tempera tures only for hot stop locating.
ATB: Overla ys Adapt ive Thermal Blending areas determined by ATB h igh
and ATB low se ttings.
THERMAL ONLY: IR image only is display ed.
VISIBLE ONLY: VISIBLE image only is displayed.
• COLOURISATION: Configures the IR image colour palet te (as displayed on the
colour bar for reference). Industry Standard colour palettes are available:
Rainb ow, Amber, Sepia, Gre y positi ve, Gre y negati ve, Iron, Hot metal.
• ATB HIGH: Sele cts the temperat ure thresho ld above w hich the AT B overlay
is act iv e.
ATB HIGH ACTIVATE: Enable or Disable.
TEMPERATURE: selects the temperature threshold.
• ATB L OW : Select s the temperatur e thr eshold below w hich the AT B
overlay is active.
ATB LOW ACTIVATE: Enable or Disable.
TEMPERATURE: selects the temperature threshold.
• RANGE: Select s IR temper ature range.
Low : low range -10 °C to 140 °C
High: high range -10° C to 380°C
• UNITS: Selects the global temperature units.
TEMPERATURE UNITS: Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin.
THERMAL ANALYSIS
SPOT Configuration
Configures the act ive tempera tur e measurement SPOTS & BOX operation.
• SPOTS/BOX: Configures the number of active SPO TS in the displa y/BOX display.
Options selectable: 1-SPOT, 2-SPOT, 3-SPOT, BOX.
• MOVE SPOT/BOX: Selec ts the AC TIVE SP OT or BOX corner to be m oved by the
joystick in the preview display.
Options s electable: 1 ,2 ,3 to select th e act iv e SPO T (displayed in bold in t he
preview display).
• SPOT1/BOX EMISS IVI TY: Configures emissivity o f SPO T1 and also the BOX area.
Options s electable: 0 .5 to 1 .0 in steps on 0.05.
• SPOT2 EMISSIVITY: Configures emissivity o f SPOT2 .
Options s electable: 0 .5 to 1 .0 in steps on 0.05.
• SPOT3 EMISSIVITY: Configures emissivity o f SPO T3.
Options s electable: 0 .5 to 1 .0 in steps on 0.05.
Global IR Parameter
Configures the GLOBAL IR parameters used by the IR radiometric analysis.
These par ameters are shared by all the SPOTS and the BOX area are displayed
on the preview display.
• REFLECTED T: Configures the GLOBAL reflected temperature.
Options selectable: -10C to 380C.
• ATMOSPHERIC T: Configures the GLOBAL atmospheric temperature.
Options selectable: -10C to 380C.
• HUMIDITY: Configures the GLOBAL humidity.
Options s electable: 0 % to 1 00% in steps of 1%.
• DISTANCE: Configures the GLOB AL distance o f the object fr om the camera.
Options s electable: 1 m to 1 00m in steps of 1 m.
The integrated DIGITHERM web browser enables display and download of
on-camera images in the original view -mode via the DIGITHERM’s WIFI
access point.
Basic Operation
The web browser displays thumbnail images for quick transfer w ith dow nload
access to the full resolution images. Once downloaded, images can be viewed
and processed in CONNECT Sof tware to adjust the view mode.

• Image view mode displayed on webserver shows captured images including
colour bar and temperature scale.

BATTERY PACK
Removing the Batter y Pack
• Open t he Ba tter y Pack door of the camera with t he supplied access k ey.
• Remove the Battery Pack f rom the camer a.
Inserting the Battery Pack
• Open t he Ba tter y Pack door of the camera with t he supplied access k ey.
• Slide the Bat ter y Pack into the camera.
• Secure the Battery Pack in plac e using the s upplied acces s key.
• Ensure the access door is securely closed befor e entering any restricted areas.
Charging the Batter y Pack
• Plug t he charger int o a wall sock et /out let. The GREEN LED will illuminate
show ing m ains power is connected and th at the charger is ready.
• Insert DIGI THERM Ba tter y Pack into the charging station . Car e must be taken to
ensure that th e bat tery is inserted in the correct orienta tion, otherw ise bat ter y
or charger damage may occur.
• If th e bat tery is pro per ly located in t he charging st ation, t he RED LED o n the
charger will illuminate to indicate charging. Once the charge cycle is complete,
the L ED will change to GREEN.

need to be downloaded separately.
