operation under the conditions described.
Faults and damage
If there are any gr ounds to beli eve the uni t is
no longer safe to use , it must be taken out of
service and mea sures taken to prevent its
further unintentional use.
The saf ety of the d evice may be impaired if for
example:
Ext ernal dama ge to the uni t is visible .
The device has not been stor ed correctly.
The unit has suffered transport damage.

Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:
The CorDEX FL47xx LED can be provided in two different variations as follow:
1. Hand-held lantern
2. Transportable floodlight
All version are based in the same core LED floodlight, which is comprise of an aluminium enclosure with a lighting window made in
glass, inside of this enclosure is situated the PCB where the safety critical components and the LED’s are soldered. This LED Light
includes also a push-button that is directly actioned in the transportable version or is actioned through a mechanical assembly in the
hand-held version.
This product is powered through the rechargeable battery pack model EXIS approved as an intrinsically safe Ex Component (IECEx
EXV 15.0008U).
