FIXTURE INSTALLATION
1. Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (1) onto the junction box using the MOUNTING SCREWS (2). This fixture is designed to be mounted on standard round or octagon junction box. The junction box must be securely mounted to the structure of the building. Thread the NIPPLE (3) onto the MOUNTING PLATE (1). Adjust the NIPPLE (3) so that the threads extend 1/4" beyond the CANOPY (4). Secure usinng HEX NUT (5).
2. Insert the CABLES (6) on the CABLE GRIPPERS (7) attached on the CANOPY (4). Run the wirings through the CABLES (6) using WIRE CLIP (8) and insert on the CANOPY (4) hole. To level the the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (9) or change the drop height based on your desired height, push the tab down on the CABLE GRIPPER (7) either pull or push the CABLES (6). Repeat this to all CABLES (6) and wirings until the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (9) is leveled and with the desired height.
3. Attach the SAFETY CABLE (10) to the building structure or brace using CABLE CLIP (11).
4. Attach the Ground wire (Green) to the ground inside the outlet box (Generally green or bare copper wire) or the
GROUND SCREW (12) on the MOUNTING PLATE (1). NEVER CONNECT GROUND WIRE TO "HOT" WIRE!
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!
5. Connect the fixture's SVT neutral (WIRE WITH WHITE STRIP ON IT) wire to the neutral (Generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wires together with an approved fastener (WIRE NUT) (13). Starting 1" below the fastener, tightly wrap the connection with electrical tape so that the connections seals the end of the fastener.
MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO EXPOSED WIRE OF STRANDS THAT COULD CAUSE A DANGEROUS SHORT CIRCUIT!
6. Connect the fixture's SVT hot (WIRE WITHOUT ANY STRIPS ON IT) wire to the hot (Generally black) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the joined wires same as previous step. NEVER REVERSE HOT AND NEUTRAL
WIRES. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!
7. Push the wires back into the junction box. Lift the CANOPY (4) up to the MOUNTING PLATE (1) and secure using THREADED CAP (14).
8. Screw the BULB (15) up into the sockets of the fixture.THIS FIXTURE IS RATED FOR 60 WATTS LAMP. DO
NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED WATTAGE!
9. Install the OVAL GLASS (16) and ROUND GLASS (17) (white side facing lamp and clear side out) onto their respective places secure THUMB SCREWS (18).
10. Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.
