ADVERTENCIAS
ESPAÑOL
Es importante conservar este manual de
instrucciones junto con el aparato para
cualquier tipo de necesidades futuras.
Si el aparato se vende o transfiere a otras
personas, verificar que el manual acompañe
siempre el aparato para que el nuevo
propietario pueda conocer las funciones y
las respectivas advertencias.
● Estas advertencias han sido previstas
para vuestra seguridad. Por lo tanto es
necesario leerlas atentamente antes de
instalar y utilizar el aparato.
INSTALACION
● Cualquier intervención eléctrica necesaria
para la instalación de este aparato debe ser
efectuada por personal especializado.
● Controle que el aparato no esté apoyado
sobre el cable de alimentación.
● Si el aparato está colocado sobre un piso cubierto
de moqueta, controle que entre las patas de apoyo
y el piso haya circulación de aire.
● Esta secadora está proyectada para expeler
el aire hacia el exterior.
Por lo tanto su sistema de ventilación no debe ser
conectado con los sistemas de ventilación de
otros aparatos.
USO
● Este aparato ha sido proyectado para un uso
doméstico. No lo utilice con finalidades diferentes a
aquellas para las cuales ha sido proyectado.
● Desenchufe siempre el aparato después del uso.
● No debe poner ropa que gotea dentro de la secadora.
Cargue siempre ropa bien centrifugada. Mayor es
la velocidad de centrifugado, menor es el gasto de
electricidad y el tiempo de secado.
• Riesgo de incendio: los tejidos que se han impregnado o
empapado con aceites de cocina constituye un peligro de
incendio y no debería introducirse en la secadora para
realizar un proceso de secado.
• Si usted ha lavado su ropa con el producto quitamanchas
deberá realizar un aclarado extra en el programa
de lavado antes de introducir la ropa la secadora
● No introduzca en la secadora ropa que
haya estado en contacto con sustancias
químicas, como solventes para la limpieza
a seco, pues son sustancias volátiles y
podrían provocar una explosión.
● Mientras la secadora está funcionando, la puerta puede
alcanzar temperaturas elevadas: tenga cuidado de que
los niños pequeños no se acerquen a la secadora.
● Si es necesario abrir la puerta durante el secado,
tenga cuidado en la parte interior de la puerta porque
está muy caliente.
● Controle siempre que en los bolsillos no se
hayan olvidado encendedores.
● Deje la puerta entreabierta cuando no se usa
el aparato; esto permite una mejor
conservación de la junta de la puerta.
● Debe limpiar el filtro de la pelusa después de cada ciclo.
● No use el aparato con el filtro dañado: existe
el riesgo de incendio.
● No sobrecargue el aparato.
● Verifique que no se acumule pelusa
alrededor de la secadora.
ASISTENCIA/REPARACIONES
● No trate de reparar el aparato sin la ayuda de un
técnico. Las reparaciones efectuadas por personal
no especializado pueden provocar daños a
personas o averías. Póngase en contacto
con el Centro de Asistencia y solicite las
piezas de repuesto originales.
SEGURIDAD
● Es peligroso modificar o tratar de modificar
las características técnicas de este aparato.
● Este aparato ha sido proyectado para ser utilizado
por personas adultas. Controle que los niños no
toquen los mandos y no jueguen con el aparato.
● Los animales domésticos y los niños pequeños
pueden trepar y entrar en la secadora: controle
siempre el interior antes de usarla.
PROTECCION DEL AMBIENTE
● Los materiales marcados con el símbolo
usados en este aparato pueden ser reciclados. Esto
significa que pueden ser nuevamente utilizados si se
depositan en los contenedores apropiados.
● Cuando el aparato deberá ser despedazado,
corte el cable de alimentación para evitar el
riesgo de que pueda ser reutilizado e inutilice
el cierre de la puerta en modo que los niños
no puedan encerrarse dentro del mismo.

El símbolo en el producto o en su empaque
indica que este producto no se puede tratar como
desperdicios normales del hogar. Este producto se
debe entregar al punto de recolección de equipos
eléctricos y electrónicos para reciclaje. Al asegurarse de

USO

1 Ficha programas
Ayuda a seleccionar el programa de secado
más adecuado.
2 Tecla de marcha/parada
Pulse esta tecla para encender el aparato. Al
final del programa vuelva a pulsar esta tecla
para apagarlo.
3 Luz piloto de funcionamiento
Esta luz está encendida cuando el aparato está
conectado (tecla de marcha/parada pulsada).
4 Tecla de reducción temperatura
Pulse esta tecla para efectuar un secado con
reducción de temperatura para tejidos
delicados. La luz correspondiente se enciende.
5 Tecla de exclusión alarma
Una señal acústica suena durante la fase “antipliegues”. Pulse esta tecla para suprimir la señal
acústica. La luz correspondiente se enciende.
6 Tecla de arranque
Pulse esta tecla dos segundos para arrancar el programa.
Si se abre la puerta durante el secado, esta
tecla debe ser pulsada nuevamente después
de haber cerrado la puerta para permitir la
continuación del programa.
7 Pilotos fases del programa
Luz
Esta luz se enciende cuando el aparato está secando.
Luz
Esta luz indica que la fase de enfriamiento de
10 minutos ha empezado.
Si la luz o parpadea significa que se
debe volver a pulsar la tecla de ARRANQUE
para permitir la continuación del programa.
Luz
Esta luz parpadea al final de la fase antipliegues.
Luz
Las luces y parpadean alternativamente
al final del programa (después de la fase de
enfriamiento) y durante la fase “anti-pliegues”
para indicar que el programa ha terminado y
que se puede sacar la ropa.
Cuando parpadea solo la luz significa que la
fase anti-pliegues ha terminado: el aparato se
para.
8 Mando selector de programas
Le permite seleccionar un programa de secado
electrónico (programas A-H) o a tiempo
(programas 60 o 30 min.) para completar el
secado.
Ponga el mando selector en la letra o número
correspondiente al programa que desea.
Para anular un programa en curso, gire el
selector en la posición “O”.
Al final del secado gire el selector en la posición
“O” antes de sacar la ropa.

Los tiempos de secado varían según:
- el tipo de ropa
- la cantidad de ropa
- el grado de centrifugado antes del secado.

Como es difícil calcular el peso de la ropa a secar, se aconseja cargar el tambor:

completamente, pero sin comprimir, para el algodón, el lino y los tejidos mixtos

a la mitad, para los sintéticos

a un tercio, para los tejidos muy delicados.

Secuencia de las
operaciones
Antes de hacer funcionar el aparato la primera
vez, introduzca algunos trapos húmedos y
seleccione un tiempo de secado de unos 30
minutos. Así estará seguro de que no habrá
polvo o suciedad en el tambor. Enciende el
aparato pulsando la tecla de marcha/parada,
ponga el mando selector de programas en “30”
y luego pulse la tecla de arranque.
El programa empezará y terminará
automáticamente.

2. Introduzca las prendas en el tambor de una
en una, desplegándolas y cierre la puerta.
3. Pulse la tecla de marcha/parada, el piloto de
funcionamiento se enciende.
4. Seleccione el programa de secado.
5. Si necesario pulse la tecla de reducción
temperatura y/o la tecla de exclusión alarma.
6. Pulse la tecla de arranque: el programa de
secado inicia y la luz se enciende.

Todos los programas de secado terminan con
una fase de enfriamiento que dura 10 minutos
(la luz correspondiente se enciende).
Si Ud. no saca la ropa al final del programa,
el aparato efectuará automáticamente la fase
anti-pliegues por unos 30 minutos.
Si no ha sido pulsada la tecla de exclusión
alarma una señal acústica suena cada 10
segundos. Las luces y parpadean
alternativamente.
Gire el mando selector de programas en la
posicion “O”, vuelva a pulsar la tecla
marcha/parada y saque la ropa. En caso
contrario, la secadora se para automáticamente
al final de la fase anti-pliegues, la luz
parpadea y la luz de funcionamiento queda
encendida.
Después de cada ciclo de secado

Pulse la tecla de marcha/parada para apagar
la secadora, el piloto de funcionamiento se
apaga.
●●
Gire el selector programas en la posición “O”.
●●
Limpie el filtro (véase página 9).

Consejos útiles
● No sobrecargue la secadora (5 kg de
algodón y 2,5 kg de sintéticos). Con tejidos
muy delicados, reduzca la carga. Una
sobrecarga hace durar el secado mucho más
tiempo y puede causar pliegues en la ropa.
La siguiente es una lista indicativa del peso
promedio de las prendas más comunes.
Sábana 700 - 1000 g
Manteles 400 - 500 g
Paños de cocina 70 - 120 g
Servilletas 50 - 100 g
Toallas pequeñas 150 - 250 g
Albornoces 1000 - 1500 g
Camisas de hombre 200 - 300 g

● Nunca seque las prendas siguientes en la
secadora:
Prendas particularmente delicadas como
cortinas de encaje, lana, seda, tejidos con
aplicaciones en metal, medias de nylon,
prendas voluminosas como chaquetas de
invierno, cubrecamas, mantas acolchadas,
sacos de dormir, edredones o cualquier otra
prenda que contiene gomapluma o
materiales similares.
● Siga siempre las instrucciones indicadas en
las etiquetas de los vestidos:
se puede secar en la secadora
secado normal (alta temperatura)
secado delicado (baja temperatura)
no secar en la secadora
● Abroche las fundas de los almohadones y
sábanas para evitar que la ropa más chica se
envuelva en el interior. Cierre los botones a
presión, cierres y ganchitos y anude los
cinturones y tiras de delantales.
● Seleccione la ropa según el tipo y el grado de
secado requerido.
● No seque la ropa excesivamente, de esta
manera se evita la formación de pliegues y
se ahorra energía.
● Evite introducir ropa oscura junto con las
prendas más claras como las toallas, porque
la primera podría atraer la pelusa.
● La ropa debe ser bien centrifugada antes de
ser introducida en la secadora.
● Los tejidos sintéticos deben ser
centrifugados brevemente (aprox. 30
segundos, o bien utilizando el ciclo de
centrifugado breve de vuestra lavadora).
● Los tejidos de punto (por ejemplo la ropa
interior) pueden achicarse levemente con el
calor. Recuérdelo cuando los compren.
● Se pueden secar también las telas
almidonadas. Para mantener el efecto de
almidonado, elija el programa “húmedo para
planchar”. Para remover los residuos de
almidón del tambor, límpielo con un trapo
húmedo.
● Para evitar que haya electricidad estática al final
de la fase de secado, use un suavizante para
tejidos durante el lavado o un producto
especial para las secadoras.
● Quite la ropa cuando el aparato ha
completado el ciclo de secado.
● Si alguna ropa está todavía húmeda al final
del secado, seleccione un tiempo de al
menos 30 minutos (progr. 30’). Esto podría
ser necesario en el caso de ropa multiestrato (por ejemplo cuellos, bolsillos, etc.).

MANTENIMIENTO
Se debe desenchufar el aparato antes de
efectuar cualquier operación de limpieza o de
mantenimiento.
Limpieza externa
Use solamente agua y jabón y luego seque
cuidadosamente.
Importante: no use alcohol, solventes o
productos similares.
Limpieza de la puerta
Limpie periódicamente la parte interna de la
puerta para eliminar la pelusa.
Una limpieza correcta asegura un secado
correcto.
Limpieza del filtro
La secadora funcionará bien si el filtro está
limpio.
El filtro recoge toda la “pelusa” que se acumula
durante el secado y de consecuencia debe ser
limpiado al final de cada programa antes de
sacar la ropa, con un paño húmedo.
El filtro no puede ser removido.
No se alarme por la cantidad de pelusa. Esto no
se debe a un desgaste excesivo de la ropa
causado por la secadora. Todas las fibras
pierden pelusa durante el secado; pero mientras
en ocasión del secado al aire libre este
fenómeno no se nota, durante el secado en el
aparato la pelusa se recoge en el filtro.

ANOMALIAS DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
Antes de ponerse en contacto con el Centro Asistencia de zona, efectue los siguientes
controles.
Si después de haber efectuado los controles
antes citados la avería persiste, llame el Centro
de Asistencia de zona, indicando el tipo de
modelo y el número de serie del aparato.
Estas informaciones figuran en la tarjeta
matrícula (ver figura).

Colocación
Para mayor comodidad sería oportuno que el
aparato se situase cerca de la lavadora.
La secadora produce aire caliente y muy
húmedo, que debe ser eliminado del ambiente
lo más rápidamente posible para evitar la
formación de condensación.
En un ambiente muy bien ventilado o cerca de
una ventana esto ocurre naturalmente.
Pero en general, sería mejor sacar el vapor
mediante el tubo flexible de 100 mm de
diámetro, suministrado junto con el aparato,
conectado bien a una ventana abierta, o bien
empalmado de forma permanente a una rejilla
de ventilación fija, colocada en una pared
externa o en una ventana.
El ambiente en donde se instala la secadora
tiene que estar limpio, sin acumulaciones de
polvo.
Compruebe que cerca de las rejillas de
aspiración posteriores no haya materiales u
objetos que puedan obstruirlas (por ejemplo,
papel, trapos, etc.).
Coloque la secadora sobre un piso plano y
sólido, para reducir al mínimo las vibraciones y
el ruido durante el uso.
Nivele la secadora en la posición requerida por
medio de las patas anteriores.
Las patas no se deben quitar nunca.
No apoye la secadora sobre moqueta de pelo
alto, alfombras, etc. y no coloque debajo del
aparato listones de madera, cartón u otros
materiales. Esto podría causar una
acumulación de calor que perjudicaría el
funcionamiento de la máquina.
Importante:
Mientras la secadora está funcionando, la
temperatura del cuarto en que se encuentra no
debe superar los 35° C.

Conexión del tubo de descarga
Para simplificar la instalación, el aparato
dispone de tres salidas: una posterior y dos
laterales. Conecte el tubo a la salida
seleccionada, quitando la abrazadera (A) de la
salida posterior, aplicándola luego al tubo y
colocando el grupo tubo/abrazadera en la salida
deseada.
Las salidas no utilizadas deben ser tapadas con
las tapitas previstas a tal fin.
Nota: Si el tubo es largo y la temperatura del
cuarto es baja, la humedad puede crear
condensación en el interior del tubo. Este es un
fenómeno natural y por lo tanto inevitable.
Para impedir que el agua quede en el tubo o
vuelva hacia la secadora, se aconseja efectuar
un agujero (dia. 3 mm) en el punto más bajo del
tubo y colocar un pequeño recipiente por
debajo. (Ver figura, punto B).
Después de haber empalmado el tubo a la
secadora, conéctelo a la salida externa,
asegurándose que no haya más de dos codos.
Si ha elegido una rejilla fija sobre una pared o
ventana, llame a un instalador especializado
para efectuar la instalación.

El tubo de descarga NO debe ser
conectado a una chimenea o a un
conducto de caldera para
conducir los gases de descarga
de una instalación de
calentamiento.
Para evitar problemas de condensación sería
oportuno utilizar el tubo de descarga, sobre todo
si la secadora está instalada en la cocina: el
vapor debería ser conducido preferiblemente
hacia el exterior.
Para evitar que entre la lluvia o el viento, Ud.
puede orientar el tubo hacia abajo.
Para evitar que la secadora se recaliente, es
importante que el circuito de descarga no esté
obstruido.
En el caso que se utilice el tubo de descarga
fijado a una pared, es necesario asegurar una
capacidad de descarga de al menos 150 m
3
/h.
Pueden surgir problemas en ambientes
conectados a un aspirador central muy potente.
Si se nota que los tiempos de secado son
demasiado prolongados, apagar el aspirador o
cerrar su rejilla.
Si la secadora se coloca cerca de los
muebles de la cocina, verifique que el tubo
de descarga no esté aplastado. Si el tubo
está parcialmente aplastado, la eficiencia de
secado se reducirá, necesitando tiempos de
secado más prolongados y un mayor gasto
de energía.
Si el tubo está completamente aplastado, los
dispositivos de seguridad del aparato
pueden entrar en funcionamiento.

Conexión eléctrica
El aparato funciona con una tensión de
220-230 V, monofásica, 50 Hz.
Controle que el equipo eléctrico doméstico
pueda sostener la carga máxima requerida (2.2
kW) considerando también los otros eventuales
electrodomésticos en funcionamiento.
Conecte el aparato a una toma de tierra, en
conformidad con las normas en vigor.
El productor no se asume la

antes mencionadas.
Kit de montaje sobre la lavadora
En las tiendas de los revendedores autorizados
hay a disposición un kit para poder instalar la
secadora sobre la lavadora. Las instrucciones
para el montaje se encuentran en el kit.

Reversibilidad de la puerta
Para facilitar la carga o la descarga de la ropa, se
puede modificar el sentido de abertura de la puerta.
Esta operación debe ser efectuada por personal
especializado.
Proceda de la siguiente manera:
-
Quite la puerta destornillando los dos tornillos (1)
que fijan la bisagra a la estructura (Fig. A).
-
Quite el cierre de seguridad (2) y el tapón (3)
doblando las dos aletas de fijación (Fig. A).
-
Vuelva a montar el cierre de seguridad (2) y el
tapón (3) en la puerta (Fig. B).
-
Quite la plaquita de plástico (4) desatornillando los
dos tornillos de fijación (Fig. A).
-
Vuelva a montar la plaquita de plástico (4) en el
lado opuesto (Fig. B).
-
Vuelva a montar la puerta atornillando los dos
tornillos (1) que fijan la puerta a la estructura
(Fig. B).

WARNINGS
It is most important that this instruction
book should be retained with the appliance
for future reference. Should the appliance be
sold or transferred to another owner, or
should you move house and leave the
appliance, always ensure that the book is
supplied with the appliance in order that the
new owner can get to know the functioning
of the appliance and the relevant warnings.
● These warnings have been provided in the
interest of safety. You MUST read them carefully
before installing or using the appliance.
INSTALLATION
● Any electrical work required to install this
appliance should be carried out by a qualified
electrician or competent person.
● Make sure that the appliance does not stand
on its electrical supply cable.
● If the machine is situated on a carpeted floor, please
adjust the feet in order to allow air to circulate freely.
● This tumble dryer is designed to be vented through to
the open air. It should have its own ventilation system
which should not be joined with any other ventilation
system connected to any other appliance.
USE
● This appliance is designed for domestic use
only. Do not use it for commercial, industrial
or any other purposes.
● Always unplug the appliance after use.
● Clothes which are dripping wet should not be
placed in the dryer.
Always load well spun laundry. The higher the
spin speed, the lower the electricity consumption
and the shorter the drying times.
● Risk of fire: items that have been spotted or soaked
with vegetable or cooking oil constitute a fire hazard
and should not be placed in the tumble dryer.
● If you have washed your laundry with stain
remover you must execute an extra rinse cycle
before loading your tumble dryer
● Never tumble dry items that have been in
contact with chemicals such as dry
cleaning fluid. These are of a volatile
nature and could cause an explosion.
● Always check that no cigarette lighters have
been left in pockets.
● Leave the porthole door slightly ajar when not
in use to preserve the door seal.
● The fluff filter must be cleaned after every use.
● Do not operate the appliance with a damaged
filter as this may cause a fire.
● When the machine is operating, the door can reach very
high temperatures: keep your children away from it.
● If you need to open the door during operation, do
not touch its internal side, as it is very hot.
● Do not overload the appliance.
● Do not allow fluff to accumulate around the dryer.
SERVICE/REPAIR
● Under no circumstances should you attempt
to repair the machine yourself. Repairs
carried out by inexperienced persons may
cause injury or serious malfunctioning. Refer
to your local Service Centre. Always insist on
genuine spare parts.
GENERAL SAFETY
● It is dangerous to modify or try to modify the
specifications of this appliance in any way.
● This appliance is designed to be used by
adults. Children should not be allowed to
touch the controls or play with the product.
● Pets and small children may climb into tumble
dryers. Check your appliance each time
before use.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
● The materials used on this appliance marked
with the symbol are recyclable.
This means that they can be recycled by disposing of
them properly in appropriate collection containers.
● If you take your appliance to a refuse disposal site,
cut off the power cable flush with the appliance to
avoid the danger of the appliance being re-used,
and disable the door catch to prevent children
becoming trapped inside.

USE
Control panel
1 Programme Chart
This will help you to select the correct
programme for drying.
2 ON/OFF Button (Marcha Parada)
Press this button to switch the machine on. At the end of
the programme press it again to switch the machine off.
3 Mains-On Light
This lights up when the machine is switched on.
(ON/OFF button pressed) and goes out by
depressing ON/OFF button again.
4 Low Temperature Button
(Reducción Temperatura)
Press this button to reduce the temperature
when drying particularly delicate items. The
corresponding light illuminates.
5 Buzzer OFF Button (Exclusión Alarma)
The buzzer will sound during the “anti- crease”
phase. Press this button to switch the buzzer off.
The corresponding light lights on.
6 START Button (Arranque)
Press this button for 2 seconds to start the
selected drying programme.
If the door is opened during the programme,
this button has to be depressed again after
closing the door to re-start the programme.
7 Control lights
Light
This light indicates that the machine is
performing the drying phase.
Light
This light indicates that the cooling phase is in
operation (10 min.).
If the light or flashes, this means that
the START button has to be depressed again to
re-start the programme.
Light
This light flashes at the end of the anti-crease
phase.
Light
The lights and flash alternately at the
end of the programme (after the cooling phase)
and during the anti-crease phase to remind you
that the programme has finished and the
laundry can be removed.
If only the light flashes this means that the
anti-crease phase has finished: the machine
stops functioning.
8 Programme Selector Dial
The selector dial allows you to select an
electronic drying programme (programmes A-H)
or a time controlled programme (programmes
60’ or 30’ min.) to finish off drying. All you have
to do is set the selector dial to the programme
required.
To cancel a programme already started, turn the
programme selector dial to “O”.
At the end of drying turn the dial to “O” before
opening the door.

Drying times vary according to:
- The type of laundry

- The degree of spinning prior to drying.
Loading
It is often difficult to calculate the weight of the laundry to be dried. For this reason we recommend
that the drum be filled:

completely, but without compressing the laundry, for cotton, linen and mixed fabrics

half full for synthetics

no more than one third for very delicate items.

Drying sequence
Before starting up for the first time it is advisable
lo load a few moist cloths into the dryer and to
let it run for about 30 minutes. This ensures that
no dust and dirt is left in the drum. In order to do
this, switch the machine on by pressing the
ON/OFF button, set the programme selector dial
on “30”, then press the START button.
The programme will start and finish
automatically.
To dry your laundry:
1. Connect the tumble dryer.
2. Load the items one at a time, shaking them
out loosely and close the door.
3. Press the ON/OFF button (Marcha Parada),
the mains-on light lights up.
4. Select the required drying programme.
5. Press Low Temperature Button (Reducción
Temperatura) and/or Buzzer OFF Button
(Exclusión Alarma) if required.
6. Press the START-button (Arranque): the
selected programme will start and light
will illuminate.

All the drying programmes end with a cooling
phase which lasts 10 minutes (the
corresponding light illuminates).
If the laundry is not removed at the end of the
programme, the machine will automatically
perform the anti-crease phase which lasts
about 30 minutes.
During this period the buzzer will sound every
10 seconds, unless you have depressed the
Buzzer Off Button (Exclusión Alarma). The
lights and flash alternately.
Turn the programme selector dial to “O”, switch
the machine off by depressing ON/OFF button
again and remove the laundry.
If this is not done, at the end of the anti-crease
phase the tumble dryer will automatically stop
functioning, light will flash and the Mains-On
light remains alight.
After each use
●●
Press the ON/OFF button again to switch the
dryer off. The mains-on light goes out.

Turn the selector dial to “O”.
●●
Clean the fluff filter (see page 21).

● Try to load to the maximum capacity of the
machine as small loads are uneconomical.
For information, here is a list of the average

nylon tights, bulky materials such as anoraks,
blankets, eiderdowns, sleeping bags, feather
quilts and any items containing rubber foam
or materials similar to rubber foam.
● Always follow the instructions on garment
labels.

● Close pillowcases and covers with fasteners
to prevent small laundry items getting tangled
inside them. Close press studs, zips and
hooks and tie belts and apron strings.
● Sort laundry according to type and degree of
drying required.
● Do not over-dry laundry, this avoids creasing
and saves energy.
● Avoid drying dark clothes with light coloured
fluffy items such as towels as they could
attract the fluff.
● The laundry must be thoroughly spun before
tumble drying.
● Easy-care items, too, e.g. shirts, should be
briefly pre-spun before drying (depending on
crease resistance approx. 30 seconds or
using the special brief spin programme of
your washing machine).
● Knitted textiles (knitted underwear) may
shrink a little during drying. Please do not
overdry items of this type. It is advisable to
allow for shrinkage when choosing the size of
new purchases.
● You can also put starched items into your
dryer. However, to achieve the desired
starched effect, choose the programme “iron
dry”. To remove any starch residues, wipe out
the internal drum after drying with a moist
cloth and then rub it dry.
● To avoid a static charge when drying is
completed, use either a fabric softener when
you are washing the laundry or a fabric
conditioner specifically for tumble dryers.
● Remove the laundry when the dryer has
finished drying.
● If individual items are still damp after drying,
set a brief drying time of at least 30 minutes
(programme 30’). This will be necessary
particularly for multilayered items (e.g.
collars, pockets, etc.).

MAINTENANCE
You must disconnect the appliance from the
electricity supply, before you can carry out any
cleaning or maintenance work.
External cleaning
Use only soap and water and then dry
thoroughly.
Important: do not use methylated spirit, diluents
or similar products.
Cleaning the door
Clean periodically the interior part of the door to
remove any fluff.
Accurate cleaning ensures correct drying.
Cleaning the filter
Your dryer will only function well if the filter is
clean.
The filter collects all the «fluff» which
accumulates during drying and it must therefore
be cleaned at the end of each programme,
before removing the laundry, with a damp
cloth.
The filter cannot be removed.
Do not be alarmed by the amount of fluff. It is
not due to excessive wear caused by the dryer.
All fabric loses fluff when drying but it goes unnoticed in the air. In a tumble dryer it simply
collects in the filter.

FOR THE INSTALLER
Installation
Positioning
It is recommended that, for your convenience,
the machine is positioned close to your washing
machine.
Whilst drying, the tumble dryer will expel a
certain amount of warm, very moist air, and this
should be removed from the room as quickly as
possible to prevent condensation. In an
extremely well ventilated room or close to an
open window, this may occur naturally.
However, in general, it is better to carry the
dryer's exhaust outside via the 100 mm diameter
flexible hose supplied with the appliance; ending
either temporarily at an open window, or
permanently at a fixed ventilation grille, fitted to
an exterior wall or window.
The tumble dryer must be installed in a clean
place, where dirt does not build up.
Make sure there are no obstructing items or
material near the air-intake louvres provided at
the back (e.g. paper, rags etc.).
To keep vibration and noise to a minimum when
the dryer is in use, it should be placed on a firm,
level surface.
Once in its permanent operating position, check
that the dryer is absolutely level with the aid of a
spirit level. If it is not, raise or lower the two
adjustable feet at the front of the machine until it
is.
The feet must never be removed.
Do not restrict the floor clearance through
deep-pile carpets, strips of wood or similar.
This might cause heat build-up which would
interfere with the operation of the appliance.
Important
When operating the tumble dryer, the room
temperature must not exceed 35°C, as it may
affect the performance of the appliance.

Fitting the vent hose
To simplify the installation, there is a choice of
vent outlets: one at the back, the others in the
left and right-hand side.
Connect the hose to whichever is the more
convenient by pulling the ring nut (A) from the
vent outlet at the back, screwing it on to the
hose and pushing it firmly back into place.
The unused vents should now be sealed with
the special snap covers provided.
Advice: If the hose is long and the room
temperature low, the moisture might condense
to water inside the hose. This is an
unavoidable natural phenomenon. To prevent
this water from Iying in the hose or flowing back
into the tumble dryer, it is advisable to drill a
small hole (dia.
3 mm) in the lowest point of the hose and to
place a small container below it.(See picture,
point B).
Once connected to the dryer, run the vent hose
to the desired outlet point, ensuring that it
contains no more than two bends. As to the
outlet itself, if you have decided on a fixed
wall/window grille, a good local builder’s
merchant should be able to supply you with the
necessary fittings and installation advice.

It is important not to connect the
vent hose to, for example, a
cooker hood, or a chimney or flue
pipe designed to carry the
exhaust from a fuel burning
appliance.
Note that to avoid condensation problems, it is
essential that the dryer be fitted with the flexible
hose to carry its “exhaust” at least beyond the
kitchen units; preferable outside the kitchen.
To prevent wind or water flowing back into the
tumble dryer, you can also orientate the end of
the hose downwards.
In order to prevent the appliance from
overheating, it is important that the steam
exhaust is unobstructed.
Therefore, in case of a permanent hose fitted to
an exterior wall or ceiling, it must be ensured an
exhaust capacity of at least 150 m
3
/h.
Installation in a room connected to a central
ventilation system may affect the correct
machine functioning. If you notice that the drying
cycle is unusually longer, switch the fan off or
close the fan grille.
If the dryer is fitted next to kitchen units,
make sure that the vent hose is not
squashed. If the hose is partially squashed,
drying efficiency will be reduced, resulting in
longer drying times and higher energy
consumption.
If the hose is completely squashed, the
safety cut-outs with which the machine is
fitted may operate.

Electrical connection
This machine is designed to operate on a 220230 V, single-phase, 50 Hz supply.
Check that your domestic electrical installation
can take the maximum load required (2.2 kW),
also taking into account any other appliances in
use.
Connect the machine to an earthed socket, in
accordance with current wiring regulations.
The manufacturer declines any
responsibility for damage or
injury through failure to comply
with the above safety precaution.
Stacking kit
A special stacking kit is available through your
dealer, to enable the mounting of the dryer on
top of your washing machine.
The assembling instructions are included in the
kit.

Door reversal
To make it easier to load or unload the laundry
the door can be reversed.
This operation must be carried out by
qualified personnel.
Operate as follows:
- Remove the door by unscrewing the two
screws (1) fastening the hinge to the cabinet
(Fig. A).
- Remove the safety catch (2) and the plug (3)
by bending the two fastening tags (Fig. A).
- Refit the safety catch (2) and plug (3) on the
door by reversing their positions (Fig. B).
- Remove the plastic plate (4) by unscrewing
the two fastening screws (Fig. A).
- Refit the plastic plate (4) on the opposite side
(Fig. B).
- Refit the door by screwing in the two screws
(1) which fasten the door to the cabinet (Fig.
B).
