Es muy importante conservar este libro de instrucciones junto al aparato por si fuera necesario
consultarlo. Si el aparato se vendiese o transfiriese a otra persona, acuŽrdese de entregarlo junto con
Žl para que el nuevo propietario conozca el funcionamiento de la m‡quina y sus advertencias.
En caso de que este aparato, dotado de cierre magnŽtico, sustituya uno con cierre autom‡tico,
aconsejamos que la cerradura de este œltimo quede inservible, antes de deshacerse de Žl. As’ se

Seguridad
¥ Este aparato ha sido proyectado para ser usado
por adultos. Por lo tanto, tener cuidado que los
ni–os no se acerquen para jugar con Žl.

Asistencia

¥ Para eventuales intervenciones dirigirse a un
Centro de Asistencia TŽcnica autorizado y exigir
las piezas de repuesto originales.
¥ En caso de necesitar reparaciones no intentar
hacerlas personalmente. Las reparaciones
efectuadas por personas no competentes pueden
provocar da–os. Ponerse en contacto con el
Centro de Asistencia m‡s cercano y emplear s—lo
repuestos originales.
Uso
¥ Los frigor’ficos y/o congeladores domŽsticos
est‡n destinados s—lo a la conservaci—n y/o
congelaci—n de alimentos.
¥ Las mejores prestaciones se obtienen con
temperaturas ambiente comprendidas entre
+18¡C y +43¡C (Clase T); +18¡C y +38¡C (Clase
ST); +16¡C y +32¡C (Clase N); +10¡C y +32¡C
(Clase SN); la clase de pertenencia est‡ indicada
en la placa matr’cula situada en la c‡mara al lado
del caj—n verduras.
Atenci—n: en caso de temperaturas ambiente
diferentes de las indicadas para la clase clim‡tica
a la cual pertenece este producto, es preciso
observar las indicaciones siguientes: cuando la
temperatura ambiente desciende por debajo del
valor m’nimo puede suceder que la temperatura
de conservaci—n en el vano congelador no estŽ
garantizada; por lo tanto, se aconseja que se
consuman a lo m‡s pronto los alimentos
presentes en su interior.
¥ Los productos que hayan sido descongelados no
se tienen que volver a congelar.
¥ Seguir atentamente las indicaciones del
fabricante para la conservaci—n y/o congelaci—n
de los alimentos.

Rear spacers
In the bag with the documentation, there are two
spacers which must be fitted in the two top
corners.
Slacken the screws and insert the spacer under the
screw head, then re-tighten the screws.

Door reversal
Unplug the appliance before all operations.
To reverse the door, proceed as follows:
1. dismantle the lower hinge (1), feet (2);
2. slide the door out from pin (G),unscrew the pin
and reposition on the opposite side;
3. unscrew the left front foot (3) and reposition on
the opposite side;
4. unscrew the two screws which mask the holes for
fixing the hinge from the left front side;
5. reassemble the door;
6. reassemble the lower hinge and the screw on
the opposite side, as shown in the figure;
7. remove the handle, after having removed the
screw cover and refit it on the opposite side. The
holes that are not used must be mask with the
plastic plugs removed.
Warning:
After having reversed the opening direction of
the doors check that all the screws are properly
tightened and that the magnetic seal adheres to
the cabinet. If the ambient temperature is cold (i.e.
in Wõnter), the gasket may not fit perfectly to the
cabinet. In that case, wait for the natural fitting of the
gasket or accelerate this process by heating up the
part involved with a normal hairdrier.

¥ En todos los aparatos de refrigeraci—n y congelaci—n
existen superficies que se cubren con escarcha.
Segœn el modelo, la escarcha puede ser eliminada
autom‡ticamente (desescarche autom‡tico) o
manualmente. No intentar nunca quitar la escarcha
con un objeto puntiagudo ya que se podr’a da–ar
irremediablemente el evaporador. Utilizar para ello
s—lo el rascador de pl‡stico que se suministra con el
aparato. Por el mismo motivo no despegar nunca
las cubetas del hielo con un cuchillo o cualquier otro
objeto puntiagudo.
¥ No colocar en el compartimiento de la baja
temperatura (congelador o conservador) bebidas
gaseosas que podr’an explotar
Instalaci—n
¥ El aparato se calienta considerablemente en la
proximidad del condensador y del compresor, por lo
tanto hay que verificar que el aire pueda circular
libremente alrededor del mismo. Una ventilaci—n
insuficiente puede causar un mal funcionamiento y
da–os al aparato. Seguir cuidadosamente las
instrucciones que se dan para la instalaci—n.
¥ Una vez instalado el aparato verificar que no
estŽ apoyado sobre el cable de alimentaci—n.
Importante: en caso de que el cable de
alimentaci—n se da–e, deber‡ ser sustituido con
un cable especial. Ambos cables pueden ser
solicitados al fabricante o al Servicio de
asistencia.
¥ Si el aparato es transportado en forma horizontal
es posible que el aceite contenido en el
compresor pase al circuito refrigerante. Esperar
por lo menos dos horas antes de poner en
marcha el aparato para dar tiempo a que el
aceite regrese al compresor.
Protecci—n del
ambiente
Este aparato no contiene en el circuito refrigerante y en el aislamiento, gases refrigerantes
nocivos para el ozono. El aparato no debe ser
eliminado junto con los deshechos urbanos y
chatarras. Se debe evitar el dano del circinto
refrigerante, sobre todo en la parte posterior

INSTALLATION
Location
The appliance should be installed well away from
sources of heat such as radiators, boilers, direct
sunlight etc.
Ensure that air can circulate freely around the back
of the cabinet. To ensure best performance, if the
appliance is positioned below an overhanging wall
unit, the minimum distance between the top of the
cabinet and the wall unit must be at least 100 mm
(A). Ideally, however, the appliance should not be
positioned below overhanging wall units (B).
Accurate levelling is ensured by one or more
adjustable feet at the base of the cabinet.
Important
It is essential that the appliance be connected to an
efficient earth tap. For this purpose the supply cable
plug incorporates a special earth contact. If the
sockets of your domestic wiring system are not
earthed, have the appliance connected to a separate
earth wire by a qualified electrician in accordance
with existing safety regulations.
The Manufacturer declines all responsibility if
the above safety precautions are not observed.
This appliance complies with EEC directive
number 87/308 of 2/6/87 relative to radio
interference suppression.
This appliance complies with the following
E.E.C. Directives:
- 73/23 EEC of 19.2.73 (Low Voltage Directive) and

Before plugging in, ensure that the voltage and
frequency shown on the serial number plate
correspond to your domestic power supply. Voltage
can vary by ±6% of the rated voltage.

Limpieza de las partes internas
Antes del empleo limpiar todas las partes internas con
agua tibia y jab—n neutro, a fin de eliminar el
caracter’stico olor de nuevo y secarlas luego

Arranque
Introduzca el enchute elŽctrico en la toma de
corriente de pared m‡s cercana (la luz de
funcionamiento (C) se encender‡, se–alando de
esta manera que el congelador es alimentado
elŽctricamente). Gire el bot—n del termostato (B)
hacia la derecha inasta una posici—n intermedia (se
encender‡ la luz de la temperatura (E)).
Para obtener una perfecta conservaci—n de los
alimentos congelados, la temperatura interior del
congelador tiene que ser inferior a los -18¡C. Espere
inasta que la luz de alarma de la temperatura (E) se
apague se–alando que se ha alcanzado la
temperatura —ptima. Las posiciones del termostato
pueden modificarse segœn la temperatura del
ambiente circunstante, la posici—n del congelador, la
frecuencia con que se abre la puerta, etc. Para
apagar el congelador, gire el bot—n del termostato
inasta la posici—n ÇOÈ.
Congelaci—n rapida
Para la congelaci—n r‡pida, gire el mando N/S (A)
hasta el simbolo ÇSÈ. Se encender‡ la luz de
congelaci—n r‡pida .
La luz de alarma de la temperatura
(E)
La luz de alarma de la temperatura se enciende
autom‡ticamente cada vez que la temperatura
interior del congelador supera un cierto valor que
podr’a impedir una larga conservaci—n de los
alimentos.
Es perfectamente normal que la luz de alarma
permanezca encendida un rato despuŽs de
encender el congelador por primera vez. Quedar‡
encendida inasta alcanzar la temperatura —ptima
para la conservaci—n de los alimentos.

¥ Before calling your local dealer for servicing
assistance, check the following points to see if
you may not resolve the problem yourself:
¥ Make sure that the freezer is plugged into the
wall socket correctly, and that electrical current
arrives to the freezer without interruption.
¥ Control the thermostat setting.
¥ In the event that the freezer makes excessive
noise or vibration, make sure that it is not in direct
contact with the wall or adjacent furniture.
¥ If defective operation continues after these
controls, call your local Service Network and
provide all the data listed on the rating plate:

Congelati—n de alimentos frescos
El compartimento de est‡ previsto para el
almacenamiento a largo plazo de alimentos
congelado, y para alimentos frescos a congelar.
Para congelar alimentos frescos girar el bot—n de
congelati—n r‡pida al menos 24 horas antes de
introducir los alimentos frescos en el congelador,
para as’asegurar el mejor resultado en el
congelati—n.
Colocar los alimentos a congelar en el
compartimento que se muestra en el dibujo.
Para llegar a congelar la cantidad que se indica en
la plac, posicionar los aliementos directamente en
contacto con las superficies de congelati—n. Si los
alimentos estan congelados en bolsas dentro de un
envase, o recipiente, entonces la cantidad maxima a
congela, es ligeramente inferior.
Importante
Si en caso de descongelaci—n accidental, por
ejemplo cuando falta la corriente, el per’odo de
interrupci—n supera el valor indicado en la tabla de
los datos tŽcnicos, bajo el concepto Òtiempo de
aumentoÓ ser‡ necesario consumir los alimentos en
breve tiempo o cocinarlos inmediatamente y
despuŽs volver a congelarlos (cuando se habr‡n
enfriado).
Conservaci—n de los alimentos
congelados
Cuando se enciende el congelador por primera vez,
o despuŽs de un per’odo largo de inactividad, ponga
el bot—n N/S en la posici—n de congelaci—n r‡pida
descrita anteriormente, y espere unas dos horas
antes de introducir los alimentos por conservar.
DespuŽs puede volver a ponerse el bot—n en
posici—n de conservaci—n de congelados. Esta
espera de dos horas puede evitarle si el antes.
congelador estaba ya funcionando antes.
Si se deben conservar grandes cantidades de
alimentos, se pueden quitar todos los cajones o los
cestos del aparato (excepto para el ultimo del fondo)
y poner los alimentos directamente sobre los
estantes refrigerantes, cuidando de que no se
supere el l’mite de carga situado en el lado del
compartimiento superior (si previsto).
Descongelaci—n de los alimentos
congelados
Antes de utilizar los alimentos congelados, se
pueden descongelar en el frigor’fico (carne,
pescado, etc.) o a temperatura ambiente (los otros
alimentos), depende del tiempo disponibile para la
operaci—n. Los alimentos congelados
confeccionados en porciones poque–as o separadas
pueden cocinarse directamente sin tener que
descongelarlos; en este caso, naturalmente, el
tiempo de cocci—n necesario ser‡ algo m‡s largo
que el habitual.
Producci—n de cubitos de hielo
El congelador lleva una cubeta para la producci—n
de hielo suficientes para les necesidades familiares.
Llene esta cubeta con agua inasta les 3/4 partes y
col—quela en los compartimientos de congelaci—n
r‡pida. Si el agua que hay en su zona tiene muchas
sales minerales (especialmente caliza), se aconseja
utilizar agua mineral sin gas para la producci—n de
los cubitos de hielo. Los cubitos de hielo pueden
sacarse f‡cilmente de la cubeta con una ligera
torsi—n. No utilice nunca instrumentos met‡licos para
despegar les cubetas del congelador.

MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance before carrying out
any maintenance operation.
Warning
This appliance contains hydrocarbons in its cooling
unit; maintenance and recharging must therefore
only be carried out by authorized technicians.
Internal cleaning
Never use metal objects for clearing your appliance
as it may get damaged.
When performing a complete defrosting, wash the
internal surfaces of the freezer with lukewarm water
and bicarbonate; rinse and then accurately dry.
External cleaning
Wash the outer body with lukewarm water and soap.
Periodically use a clearing polish to keep the outer
body shining. Dust the condenser located behind the
freezer with a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner. An
excessive accumulation of dust might compromise
the freezerÕs efficiency.
Extended periods of non-operation
Whenever the freezer is not to be used for an
extended period of time, disconnect it from the wall
socket and empty and clean the freezer. Remember
to leave the door open for the entire period of time in
which the freezer is not to be used.
Defrosting
Scrape away the frost with the plastic scraper
provided with the freezer when this layer arrives to
approximately 4 mm in height. For this operation,
you do not need to unplug the freezer or remove all
frozen foods. Whenever the layer of frost exceeds 4
mm in thickness, you must proceed to a complete
defrosting. Take advantage of the periods when you
do not trave too much food in storage to do this by
proceeding as follows:
1. Empty the freezer and temporarily store the
frozen food removed in a cool place, wrapped in
several sheets of newspaper.
2. Set the thermostat to the ÇOÈ position or unplug
the freezer from the wall socket.
3. Keep the freezer door open.
4. Use the scraper together with a collecting tray
and insert it in the lower central part of the freezer
as shown in Figure.
5. The collecting tray should be positioned directly
below in order to receive the water which will exit
during defrosting. Afterwards, dry all freezer
surfaces with care.
6. Keep the scraper for future use.
7. Re-connect the plug and set the freezer to the
quickfreezing position. After two hours you may
replace the frozen foods previously removed.

Important
Never use knives or metal objects to scrape away
accumulated frost.
An increase in the surface temperature of the frozen
foods during defrosting will notable diminish the
duration of their conservation.

Consejos para congelaci—n
¥ Todos los productos por congelar tienen que ser
frescos y de buena calidad.
¥ Los alimentos por congelar tienen que estar
confeccionados en porciones suficientes al
consumo familiar, para que puedan utilizarse en
una sola vez.
¥ Las confecciones peque–as permiten una
congelaci—n m‡s r‡pida y uniforme. No hay que
olvidar que una vez descongelados, la calidad de
los alimentos se deteriora r‡pidamente.
¥ Los alimentos con bajo contenido de grasas se
conservan mejor que los que tienen mucha
grasa. La sal (alli donde se encuentre) reduce la
duraci—n de la conservaci—n.
¥ Los alimentos por congelar tienen que encerrarse
en bolsitas impermeables al aire o en recipientes
especiales. Cierre cuidadosamente les bolsitas o
los recipientes sacando todo el aire de su interior.
¥ No meta nunca en el congelador botellas o latas
de bebidas gaseosas: podrian explotar.
¥ No introduzca nunca alimentos o liquidos
calientes. No llene demasiado les bolsitas o los
contenedores con tapa de los alimentos por
congelar.
¥ No consuma ciertos productos apenas sacados
del congelador (cubitos de hielo, etc.) porque la
temperatura muy baja podria causar
quemaduras.
¥ Ponga la fecha de congelacidn en cada bolsa o
contenedor para controlar los tiempos de
conservaci—n.
¥ No abra nunca la puerta del congelador ni
introduzca nuevos alimentos si est‡ en curve la
fase de congelaci—n r‡pida.
Consejos para conservaci—n de
alimentos congelados
¥ Controle siempre la fecha de preparaci—n
indicada sobre los alimentos congelados
comprados en las tiendas y respete los
vencimientos.
¥ No abra la puerta del congelador muy a menudo
y dŽjela abierta s—lo el tiempo indispensable. Los
aumentos innecesarios de temperatura reducen
considerablemente la duraci—n de conservaci—n
de los alimentos.
¥ Controle que todas les confecciones de
alimentos congelados estŽn intactas; de no
estarlo los alimentos podr’an estropearse. Si les
confecciones presentan signos de humedad o
est‡n hinchadas, quiere decir que los alimentos
no tran sido conservados correctamente y por lo
tanto el producto ha perdido parte de su calidad
de origen.
¥ Cuando se compran alimentos congelados, es
aconsejable llevar una bolsa termoaislante. Se
recomienda, asimismo adquirirlos al finalizar sus
compras.
¥ EnvuŽlvalos en papel de peri—dico y mŽtalos en
el congelador en cuanto llegue a su casa.
¥ Controle con atenci—n el producto al comprarlo
ya que los alimentos que se tran descongelado,
aun s—lo parcialmente, no tienen que volver a
congelarle sino que tran de ser consumidos
antes de transcurridas 24 horas.

Hints for freezing
¥ All products to be frozen must be fresh and of
excellent quality.
¥ Each freezing package must be adjusted to the
familyÕs consumption quantity in order to be used
just once.
¥ Small-sized freezing packages allow a more rapid
and uniform freezing.
¥ Do not forget that once frozen foods trave thawed
out, they spoil rapidly.
¥ Low-fat content foods are better conserved in the
freezer than those with higher fat content. Salt
(whenever present) reduces the duration of
satisfactory conservation.
¥ Foods to be frozen must be enclosed in air-tight
sacks or containers especially indicated for this
purpose.
¥ Close these sacks or containers tightly to
eliminate all air.
¥ Never piace bottles or cans of carbonated
beverages in the freezer. These might explode.
¥ Never introduce hot foods or liquids.
¥ Never fill the freezing sacks or containers with
covers to the brim.
¥ Do not consume certain products (popsicles, etc.)
immediately after removing them from the
freezer,because their extremely low temperature
might cause burns.
¥ Indicate the freezing date on every sack or
container as a means of controlling conservation
times.
¥ Never open the freezer door or introduce new
foods to be frozen whenever a Quick-freezing
phase is already in progress.
HINTS
Hints for storage of frozen food
¥ Always check the preparation date indicated on
the frozen foods you buy and respect the
expiration time provided by the producer.
¥ Do not open the freezer door too often and leave
it open only for the minimum time necessary.
Unnecessary increases in temperature will
notably reduce the duration of the frozen food
conservation.
¥ Make sure that all frozen food packages are
intact; otherwise the food may trave spoiled.
¥ If such packages present signs of swelling or
humidity marks, this means that the food has not
been conserved correctly, implying that the
product has lost some of its original quality.
¥ When buying frozen foods, carry them in a
thermally insulated shopping bag whenever
possible. In any case, always purchase frozen
foods at the end of your shopping. Wrap the
frozen foods in newspaper and then put them into
the freezer as soon as you arrive home.
¥ Always check the frozen foods you buy carefully
at the moment of purchase, because even
partiallythawed foods must not be re-frozen but
must be consumed within 24 hours of purchase.

Este aparato contiene hidrocarburos en el circuito

recarga deben ser efectuados exclusivamente por
personal autorizado por la empresa.
Limpieza peri—dica
Limpiar el interior con agua templada y bicarbonato
y las partes exteriores esmaltadas con cera a la
silicona; limpiar el condensador y el motocompresor
con un cepillo o un aspirador.
Esta operaci—n mejorar‡ el funcionamiento con el
consiguiente ahorro de energia.
Periodos de inactividad
Durante los per’odos en que el aparato no tenga que
funcionar, observar les siguientes precauciones:
desenchufar el aparato; sacar todos los alimentos;
descongelar y limpiar el interior y cada accesorio;
dejar les puertas entornadas para facilitar la circulaci—n del aire en el interior, a fin de evitar la formaci—n
de moho y olores desagradables.
Temporadas largas de inactividad
Cada vez que el congelador no se utilice durante
largo tiempo, desenchœfelo, vac’elo y l’mpielo.
Recuerde que la puerta tiene que quedar abierta
durante todo el tiempo que el congelador estŽ sin
funcionar.
Desescarche
Cuando la capa de escarcha alcance los 4 mm
aproximadamente de altura, qu’tela con el rascador
de pl‡stico que se suministra con el congelador.
Para efectuar esta operaci—n no es necesario
desenchufarlo ni sacar de Žl todos los alimentos
congelados. Cuando la capa de escarcha supere los
4 mm. de altura hay que quitar la escarcha de todo
el congelador. Se aconseja hacerlo durante los
perlodos en que hay pocos productos en el
congelador y realizar la operaci—n de la manera
siguiente:
1. Vac’e los contenedores y coloque temporalmente
los alimentos congelados en un lugar fresco,
envueltos en varias hojas de papel de diario, o
mejor aœn en contenedores tŽrmicos.
2. Ponga el termostato en la posici—n ÇOÈ o
desenchute el congelador.
3. Deje abierta la puerta del congelador.
4. Utilice el rascador y una palangana para recoger
el agua. Col—que el rascador en la parte central
inferior del congelador, como se indica en la
Figura. La palangana tiene que colocarse
directamente debajo para recoger el agua que
salga durante la fase de descongelado.
5. DespuŽs seque bien todas les superficies.
6. Conserve el rascador por usos futuros.
7. Vuelva a enchufar y gire el bot—n inasta la
posici—n de congelaci—n r‡pida. Pasadas unas
dos horas puede volver a meter los alimentos
congelados que habia sacado.
Importante
No utilice nunca cuchillos u objetos met‡licos para
quitar la escarcha acumulada. El aumento de
temperatura sobre la superficie de los alimentos
congelados puede disminuir la duraci—n de la
conservaci—n.

Freezing fresh food
The 4-star compartment is suitable for long
term storage of commercially frozen food, and for
freezing fresh food.
To freeze fresh foods turn the fast freezing knob at
least 24 hours before introducing the food into the
freezer in order to ensure better freezing results.
Place the food to be frozen in the compartment as
shown in figure.
In order to freeze the quantity indicated on the rating
plate, arrange the food directly in contact with the
cooling surfaces. If the food is frozen in the baskets,
the maximum quantity freezable is slightly less.
Important
In the event of accidental defrosting, for example
due to a power failure, if the power has been off
for longer that the value shown in the technical
characteristics chart under Òrising timeÓ, the
defrosted food must be consumed quickly or
cooked immediately and then refrozen (after
cooling).
Frozen food storage
When the freezer is being turned on for the first time,
or after a prolonged period of disuse, turn the N/S
knob to the Quick-freezing position and then wait at
least two hours before introducing the food to be
conserved. You may then return the knob to the ÇNÈ
position. This two-hour waiting period may be
avoided if the freezer has already been in operation.
To obtain the best performance from this appliance,
you should:
if large quantities of food are to be stored, remove all
drawers and baskets from appliance (except for the
last one at the bottom) and place food on cooling
shelves.
Pay careful attention not to exceed load limit stated
on the side of the upper section (where applicable).
Thawing out frozen foods
Frozen foods must be allowed to thaw out before
use either in the refrigerator (meat, poultry, fish, etc.)
or at room temperature (ali other foods) according to
the available time. Frozen products which come in
small-sized or separate packages may be cooked
directly without thawing; obviously, in this case, the
cooking time will fast a little longer.
Ice-cube production
Fill the trays with water to 3/4 of their height, to
permit the expansion of the ice, then put them in the
space below the quick-freezing compartment (see
the diagram). If the water in your area is rich in
minerai salts (limestone, in particular), we advise you
to use noncarbonated mineral water for the
production of ice cubes. The ice-cubes may be
shaken out of the plastic trays with a slight twist.

Cleaning the interior
Before using the appliance for the first time, wash
the interior and all internal accessories with lukewarm water and some neutral soap so as to remove
the typical smell of a brand-new product, then dry
thoroughly.
Do not use detergents or abrasive
powders, as these will damage the finish.
USE
This freezer has been marked with the symbol, which means that it is suited to the freezing of fresh
foods, the conservation of frozen foods and the production of ice-cubes.

Operation
Insert the plug into the wall socket. The pilot light (C)
will light up, indicating that the appliance is in
operation. Turn the thermostat knob (B) cloclwise to
a medium setting (temperature warning light (E) will
come on).
To safely store frozen and deep-frozen foods, the
inner temperature of the freezer must be -18¡C or
colder.
Wait until the temperature warning light (E) goes out,
thus showing that the proper temperarture has been
reached.
To stop the appliance, turn the thermostat knob to
position Ç0È.
Temperature regulation
The temperature is automatically regulated and can
be increased to achieve a higher temperature
(warmer) by rotating the thermostat knob towards
minimum or reduced (colder) by rotating the knob
towards maximum. However, the exact setting
should be chosen keeping in mina that the
temperature inside the refrigerator depends on:
room temperature;
how often the door is opened;
the quantity of food stored;
location of appliance.
A medium setting is generally the most suitable.
To stop operation, simply turn the thermostat knob to
position Ç0È.
Fast freezing
For fast-freezing, turn the N/S knob (A) to position
ÒSÓ.The fast freeze light (D) will come on.
Warning light
Warning light (E) lights up when the temperature
inside the freezer compartment has increased to a
value which might endanger the long-term storage of
food in the compartment. When the appliance is
switched on for the first time or when food is placed
in the compartment for freezing, it is normal for this
light to remain on until the temperature has reached
the level required for correct storage.

speed up the thawing process other than those
recommended by the manufacturer. Never use
metal objects for cleaning your appliance as it
may get damaged.
Installation
¥ During normal operation, the condenser and
compressor at the back of the appliance heat up
considerably. For safety reasons, minimum
ventilation must be as shown in the instructions.
Attention: keep ventilation openings clear of
obstruction.
¥ Care must be taken to ensure that the appliance
does not stand on the electrical supply cable.
Important: if the supply cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent.
¥ If the appliance is transported horizontally, it is
possible that the oil contained in the compressor
flows in the refrigerant circuit. It is advisable to
wait at least two hours before connecting the
appliance to allow the oil to flow back in the
compressor.
¥ There are working parts in this product which
heat up. Always ensure that there is adequate
ventilation as a failure to do this will result in
component failure and possible food loss. See
installation instructions.
¥ Parts which heat up should not be exposed.
Wherever possible the back of the product should
be against a wall.
Environment Protection
This appliance does not contain gasses which
could damage the ozone layer, in either its
refrigerant circuit or insulation materials. The
appliance shall not be discarded together with
the urban refuse and rubbish. Avoid damaging
the cooling unit, especially at the rear near the
heat exchanger. Information on your local
disposal sites may be obtained from municipal
authorities. The materials used on this appliance
marked by the symbol are recyclable.

Reversibilidad de la puerta
Desconecte el enchufe antes de efectuar cualquier
tipo de operaci—n.
Para cambiar la direcci—n de apertura de la puerta,
proceda de la manera siguiente:
1. desmonte el quicio inferior (1), el tornirlo (2)
2. desenrosque el tornirlo anterior (3) de la
izquierda y p—ngalo en el lado opuesto;
3. levante y saque la puerta del perno (G),
desenrosque el perno y col—quelo en el lado
opuesto;
4. vuelva a montar la puerta;
5. desenrosque los dos tornillos que cubren los dos
orificios para fijar el quicio en el lado anterior
izquierdo;
6. monte de nuevo el quicio inferior el tornirlo (2)
sobre el lado opuesto
7. invertir la manilla quitando primero los
cubretornillos aplicados a presi—n. Los agujeros
no utilizados se cubren con tapones de pl‡stico
que se quitan y vuelven a montar en los agujeros
que han quedado libres.
Atenci—n
Terminada la operaci—n de reversibilidad de la
puerta, controlar que la empaquetadura magnŽtica
estŽ adherida al mueble. Si la temperatura ambiente
es fr’a (por ejemplo en invierno), puede suceder que
la empaquetadura no adhiera perfectamente al
mueble. En este caso esperar que la
empaquetadura se recobre en forma natural o bien
acelerar dicho proceso calentando la parte
interesada con un normal secador de cabellos.
