1. Introduction
Coosis S/PDIF (Coaxial w/ Optical) to Stereo L/R converter is a smart gadget that
takes your digital audio source through coaxial or optical S/PDIF channels and
outputs analog stereo sound via standard RCA jacks. It allows you to connect the
latest digital sources like a Blu-ray media player, PS3, Apple TV etc. that don't have
seamless RCA outputs to your legacy sound system.
Note:
DA-SPDIF/SLR doesn't have a built-in amplifying function, so the output sound

volume is relatively low. You may need to adjust the volume level for an optimal
experience.
Make sure your audio sources and sound system supports PCM, which is typically
v
found under audio options on the device. DA-SPDIF/SLR will not work if your
devices only support DD, DTS, MPEG and so on.
When both the TOSlink and Coaxial are connected, TOSlink input will take higher

priority for audio out.
DA-SPDIF/SLR cannot convert encoded Dolby Digital, DTS, AC-3 and so on. If you

need a digital audio decoder, please look for the details about our DA-DTS/5.1.

Put the product in an even and stable location. If the product falls or is dropped,
it may cause an injury or malfunction.
Do not place the product in too high of a temperature (over 80 C), too low of a

Use the DC power adapter with correct specifications. If an inappropriate power

supply is used, then it may cause a fire.

6. Installation
To setup Coosis S/PDIF (Coaxial w/ Optical) to Stereo L/R converter (Model: DASPDIF/SLR), please follow the steps below for proper installation.
1 Configure your audio sources for PCM output, and configure your sound system

for PCM input, if necessary;
2 Power off any audio sources and sound systems such as an HDTV / Monitor /
)
DVD player / Amplifier etc.
3 Connect your audio sources into the input jacks, Coaxial or TOSlink of this
)
converter;
4 Connect your sound system to the L/R output jacks of this converter;
)
5 Plug in the 5V DC power cord to the DV/5V jack of the converter;
)
6 Power on DA-SPDIF/SLR, and then power on audio sources & sound system.
