IMPORTANT: Read carefully before installing fixture. Retain for future reference.

GENERAL: Upon receipt of the fixture, thoroughly inspect for any freight damage which should be brought to the

attention of the delivery carrier. Compare the catalog description listed on the packing slip with the fixture label on the
housing to assure you have received the correct material.

SAFETY: This fixture must be wired in accordance with the National Electrical Code and applicable local codes and
ordinances. Proper grounding is required to insure personal safety. Carefully observe grounding procedure under
installation section.

APPLICATIONS: This lighting fixture is designed for outdoor lighting services, and should not be used in area of limited
ventilation or inside high ambient temperature enclosures. It must be stored in a dry location prior to installation. Do
not expose lighting fixture to rain, dust or other environmental conditions prior to installation and insertion of photo
control or shorting cap (if so equipped). Do not install the fixture near combustible materials or locate next to airflow
blocking surfaces within 6 inches. Best results will be obtained if installed and maintained according to the following
recommendations.

cool before servicing.

All Installations

1. Seal the input and through conduits to prevent water
intrusion from conduit to wiring compartment.

2. Mount inlet fitting (two 3/4 NPSM female) to conduit.
Use Teflon tape or other sealing compound to seal
conduit to prevent water entry.

3. You may use a re-enterable potting compound to
temporarily plug conduit entries when pouring
re-enterable potting compound.

Concrete Pour

1. The in-ground driver housing should be placed on 4”
minimum of par gravel, with soil below to promote
drainage.

2. Attach in-ground driver to conduit (see “All
Instructions”).

4. It is recommended to install 1” conduit at the level of
the soil under pea gravel below fixture for better water
drainage.

5. Length of the pipe may vary to ensure proper water
runoff. Avoid installing the pipe right above the wire
conduit.

3. Concrete may be installed up to top of lip.

Input Wiring

1. Confirm input power requirements with label on the driver compartment.

2. To open Transformer Wiring Compartment, loosen four allen screws with 9/64” hex key.

3. Use input wire rated for at least 90°C

4. Use waterproof wire nuts to connect to input power. See wiring table for reference

5. Strip wires 5/8”. DO NOT pretwist. Twist connector onto wires while pushing firmly until hand tight. DO NOT over torque.

6. Swipe excess sealant in and around conductors. Wire line voltage power to black wire (line), white (common) to white,
green (ground) to green wire. If used, connect purple (dim +) and grey (dim -) wires to dimming control. If dimming is
not used, cap purple and grey wires seperately with wire nuts.

GÉNÉRALITÉS: Inspectez minutieusement le luminaire dès sa réception pour déceler les dommages occasionnés par

le transport, lesquels devront être signalés au transporteur. Comparez la description du catalogue indiquée sur le bon de
livraison avec l’étiquette du luminaire située sur le boîtier pour vous assurer que vous avez reçu l’appareil commandé.

SÉCURITÉ: Le câblage du luminaire doit être conforme au Code national de l’électricité, aux lois et règlements locaux en
vigueur. Une mise à la terre adéquate est requise afin d’assurer votre sécurité. Respectez soigneusement la procédure de
mise à la terre du chapitre d’installation.

APPLICATIONS: Ce luminaire a été conçu pour l’éclairage extérieur et ne doit pas être utilisé dans un endroit peu ventilé
ou dans une enceinte à haute température ambiante. Il doit être rangé dans un endroit sec en attendant son installation.
N’exposez pas le luminaire à la pluie, à la poussière ou à d’autres conditions ambiantes avant l’installation et l’insertion
de l’interrupteur photo-électrique ou de la fiche de court-circuit (si fournis). N’installez pas le luminaire près de matériaux
combustibles et ne le placez pas à proximité de surfaces bloquant la circulation de l’air dans un rayon de 15,2cm (6po). Les
résultats seront meilleurs si le luminaire est installé et entretenu selon les recommandations suivantes.
