is easy since the lamps simply screw
into the existing incandescent lamp
sockets. The long life characteristic of
the LEDs is protected by an integral
MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor) surge
protection device which is designed
to protect the lamp in the event of an
electrical surge. Practically any stencil
face incandescent exit fixture can be
retrofitted with the Sure-Lites LED
LITE STIX™LED Retrofit Kit for Exits,
yielding significant energy savings
and eliminating the lamp
maintenance associated with
incandescent lamps. The kit is
suitable for use with either single or
double face exit fixtures.
• No special provisions required for
installation:
1. Disconnect AC power and open
exit fixture
2. Remove existing AC
incandescent lamps
3. Screw-in LED LITE STIX™
4. Close exit fixture and reconnect
AC power
