Raceway Trac Puts Electrical Power Where It’s Needed
Halo Raceway Trac provides electrical flexibility at a fraction of the cost of conventional wiring on long linear runs. This economical single-circuit raceway track is the most versatile track system on the market.
Integral Raceway
Top portion of track is designed as a raceway. Will carry up to 6 #12 AWG conductors. Can be used to feed additional sections of track from the original feed point, minimizing installation time and cost. Raceway covers are included.
Size
Raceway Trac is 1 3/8” (35mm) wide and 1 5/16” (33mm) high.
Connectors
Connectors simply push into the ends of the Trac, eliminating splicing. L’s, T’s and X’s allow track to be assembled in any pattern.
Grounding
To ensure safe operation the entire track system is fully polarized and grounded. Grounding is accomplished automatically by a separate solid copper ground conductor in the track. The ground conductor maintains continuity to the building’s grounding system through the ground contact fingers in each of the connectors.
Finishes
Power-Trac Raceway Trac is available in white or matte black to provide design flexibility.
Specifications
The structural channel is extruded aluminum with .070” nominal wall thickness. Conductors are solid copper buss bars encased in rigid extruded PVC insulators. Connectors and end caps are molded of polycarbonate. Electrical capacity is 20 AMPS. Halo Raceway Trac is UL listed, CSA certified.
Polarity
A visual polarity line on Power-Trac units indicates proper electrical installation. Simply line-up polarity on Power-Trac and lampholder adapter.
WIRING DETAILS
The two integrated raceway channels in the top of this Trac allow additional circuits to be fed from a single feed point. This feature makes the product well-suited for commercial, museum and gallery use or anywhere a high degree of circuit control is needed with a minimum of

outlet box locations. Each of the two raceway channels will carry 3 #12 AWG wires. Grounding is continuous through the insulated solid copper ground buss so additional grounded wires are unnecessary. Raceway covers are included with all Raceway Trac.
